Thinking I was alone I verbally vented a few explicit term about him. Again I thought I was alone on the test drive. Not my finest moment Long story short he went back and sent the recordings to my manager and is also threatening to post them online. I'm I safe to assume that he's breaking the law as he was not part of the conversation in order to provide one party consent.
With all the restrictions that the institutions must comply with almost defeats the purpose of having security cameras installed. Security cameras serve many purposes: prevent vandalism, verify slip and falls, records assaults and incidents.
If Google can take pictures of my neighbours backyard then so can I. You shouldn’t have an expectation of privacy in an open backyard in a world, full of satellites, drones, hot air, balloons, and people who happen to be on a second story of a building.
It's funny listening to all this when Ontario saves all the videos that have been taken using the taxpayer paid cameras. They do not delete the videos. Unless something has changed that the Ontario government has not publicly announced the policy change. And now are they using facial recognition software?
