The song fit so well with the scene it was made for , the English grenadiers standing up , taking shots at the advancing French - Indian forces , never flinching , never wavering , just disciplined fire
In one of the greatest movie masterpieces of our era comes this beautiful scene with the most perfect melody that sets the tone to perfection. Le Courrier will always be one of my favourite scene/music combinations. Thank you Mr Randy Edelman. Respect!
God, everything he does just screams "wilderness" I love it. You can also often tell his music by that rolling guitar progression that forms the main body of the too, very woodsy.
Such inspiring music and great video, keyboards and guitar combination it would seem. For me the theme builds up to 0:39 where the courier is about to set off and the run he makes is accompanied by such a gorgeous theme conveying the urgency and danger. Great soundtrack all around. Thank you Mr. T. Jones
Wunderschöner Bilder-Clip mit tollem Soundtrack. Gefällt mir sehr gut, da ich auf solche Bilder und Filme/Musik stehe. Alle Sternlis für dich. VLG von Regina
For me the best track from this amazing movie, and for those who enjoy great soundtracks I would like to recommend "David`s Song" by Vladimir Cosma from an old tv series and another masterpiece "Taniec Eleny"(Elena`s dance)by a polish composer Michal Lorenz.
this on laserdisc theatrical mix in my private THX cinema is a bass treat air buster ! word is when ( on the phone with one of the projectionist around 2000 i asked about some past THX movies ) played at the CIC/UCI high wycombe which was voted 8th best THX cinema on the planet , the audince was raving about this in , lucasfilm lrd THX sound system ! THX/TAP only been to wycombe 6 once jan 1990 arachnophobia Dolby Stereo SR , THX it was out of this bass and sub bass world , it had to be as its in public , would leave trinnov bass in the dust even if it still existed i'm ex retied projectionist myself 1989 UCI tower park one few that had experimental overhead surround and lastly warner bros late 90's i know what to look for , listen for and feel for and have good memory recall on all movies seen i ran the movie few no weeks ago , few pressings and one stream amazon fail , the bass was fraction shy filtered , the dvd was okay , the AC-3 being 70mm mag transfer had mag damage to the tracks with some faint bumping noise now and then , the first pressing was out of this world and past flying colours in my THX cinema that is full JBL professional cinema , i think over 50 speakers at 40kw THX and uses the real THX crossover system designed by Tomlinson Holman , Dolby Atmos is 32 modified here to do far more than its original design don't get me started on the movie again , i ran it nearly close to ten hours !
Was soll ich da sagen liebe Corviniana .einfach wunderschön, fantastische Nusik, ich liebe sie. **** und vielen Dank. Ich schicke dir ganz liebe Grüße Lolo
This would be the song that would play when I was going to heaven and everyone was waiting for at the pearly gates that I have lost over death it would be so heavenly to have this song play while you stared at the kingdom of heaven especially the part at 0:50

But it's not Trevor Jones. It's Randy Edelman. And if you're an avid music listener, it's obvious this is Randy's music. Please correct the title since it's a little misleading.
FranticAnimations exactly just think at the gettysburg soundtrack. It really sound very similar. In fact this piece is made by randy edelman. Go and listen fife and drum ost gettysburg it sound the same for the first 40-50 seconds. This song is been made by Randy Edelman.

That was a deleted scene, i only just saw it recently! Wish they kept it in. Duncan as much as he was a bit of a dick, he was a competent officer
From start to finish, is probably my favorite complete soundtrack ever. And this 'hidden gem' is without a doubt my favorite track.
Promontory theme is undeniably great, but this is an overlooked gem.
La verdad que si. Encima cuando ayuda al mensajero a salir del fuerte
My God... it's hard to tell how much this music moves a soul, such a beautiful tone!
Thank you very much dear Iwona 💖 Greetings and Blessings from Corviniana / Germany 💖 😘

I get to see my dad again with every listen.
God, everything he does just screams "wilderness" I love it.

In a film where there is quite a bit of violence, comes this calming gem, which itself represents the courier slipping through enemy lines. Magical 🎼🎵
I love ❤ this movie and soundtrack 😍.
"Wheel to the right! On centre, march!"
"Halt!"
"Ready!"
"Set!"
"Fire!"
I love this song! Feels like a beautiful adventure, just like the movie.
My favorite tune from this fantastic soundtrack.

johnny lalonde This wish I you too johnny 💖 Thank you 🍀🌿🍀 God bless you and always the best for you 🌺 Greetings Corviniana
This movie as well as Batman from 1989 would have both been deserving winners of the Oscar for best original score, and yet weren't even nominated.
When your favorite character in Last of the Mohicans is the Courier because it means this song is coming on....

Underrated "going for a PR in the gym" tune.
Hawkeye was the original American sniper.
Stirred something in our souls since we 1st saw this as a kid in 1992!
