This was my mother‘s favorite movie, other than Dances With Wolves. We watched it together. 💞 She’ll be gone 27 years this October 15th and I miss her deeply. I watch the scenes with this song over and over so many times and cry. It’s the most beautiful, haunting melody.

That also fits the tradition of Jesus performing miracles in the gospels to be true because they wouldn't call him a "sorcerer if he didn't do something that would get the crowds attention.

@@hofla7777 The words 'No matter where you go I will find you, in a place with no frontiers' etc. I was only 43 when he died. We didn't have time and although I don't believe in an afterlife a part of me wonders if we could ever be reunited somewhere, and the music is beautiful and emotional.

Hurt is a dark cloud that obscures perception and chokes life. I lost the love I wanted from childhood, she is gone and my soul agonizes still. Tearfully it seems life is held for the survivors but times come when surviving is antithetical to life, when the suffering is all that you can feel. The music of my childhood ... I am from Poland.
Sad thoughts of mom...after dad passed away in 2011 (65 married years), she came to live with me and my Autistic son in 2012. EVERY SINGLE DAY, even through her Alzheimers she said "my wonderful husband died in 2011 on February 13th" and every evening "where are you, please come and take me with you"... phrases she said daily until her passing in November 2018 - I never tired of her phrases. She died at home... and when I came into her room to my amazement that even after from within the throes of death... her hands were cupped together (as if in prayer) with her wedding ring at the tip of her finger and the other hand holding and covering the ring and finger. That much she loved my dad right up to her dying day - she finally got her wish. This is testament that there is nothing more powerful than love. It is now 2020 and my heart is still heavy ... I will never forget. So... if you LOVE someone... show them and tell them so, each and every day that you love them - because if one day (in the blink of an eye) that they are not there - you will be grateful that you showed them how much you loved them - and that is the greatest gift of all. LOVE.
