The graphics don't bother me at all, I don't find them that bad. For me it's all about how fun the game is and its replay value. Moreover, solo gaming is huge to me. I do agree it is very overprices and the cardstock is pathetic.

The 13 x 4 strategy is faulty.
Those cards are meant to stay in order. You miss out if you need to draw from the deck, having taken those out of action until a round to come.
With the solo game, I agree that Victory points at the end of the game don't matter, you are playing against generation 14 not another player.

The rules state you can only take 1 or 2 actions per turn. He plays 5 cards his first turn, which is 5 actions. Am I reading the rule book wrong or was he wrong?

@@michaeloffgrid there are 2 situations where that rule doesn't apply.
First: in multiplayer when all other players have passed, you then play as many turns until you exhaust your playing options and then move to the production phase.
Second: In Solo mode this rule doesn't apply as it is the same situation as the above scenario. No one else to play, so you go until you have exhausted options to play.

@@michaeloffgrid NP, Happy to assist. I have played The Online(Digital) Solo version over 100 times, as well as the physical in both Solo and Multiplayer mode The digital version plays this way and you can't play either version without this happening. It may not be explicitly stated, but it is implicit in being able to actually play the game.

@@luedsfarout4731 I think had I played the game competitively first, that would have made sense. Jumping in solo for the first time, I was following the rulebook to a T and to a fault. I finally got around to playing again last night and really enjoyed it. Haha
