Yes you can travel to India even after a day of getting blue card but make sure you can live outside Germany not more than 6 month if you are a Blue card holder

Actually its difficult to get a free slots. But i guess you have to fill the application and you will be in waiting list and once your no will come you will get an appointment slot from VFS

Hello, In that case i would recommend you to go for Schengen visa as reunion will take more time and also involve additional steps like marriage verification (More time more fees). But reunion visa will be for longer duration and schengen for maximum 90 days. please watch our visa type video for all the differences in both the visa types

Any help on this question would be highly appreciated as one of family relative is facing this issue . The husband has got a job in Germany and he applied for blue card visa along with his wife as dependant visa , both of them got the visa approved now they are set to fly to Germany but meanwhile wife got a job in India which she wants to take up .. So can she come to Germany and register herself as a dependent on her husband and then go back to India and take up her job , she is planning to fly to Germany once in every 4-5 months after that. She has job ambitions and her husband is ready to support that But all they need is a confirmation about how can a dependant visa holder person work in their home country ?
in this situation, ideally she wont be able to work in other country with germany residence permit. And once she got residence permit of Germany she wont be able to live outside Germany for more than 6 months

You need to contact the Auslanderbehorde (foreigners office) of your city and they will give you an appointment for your work permit (blue card)

For that just book and appointment once and you will be in a waiting list queue and VFS will automatically get back to you with appointment slot

Yes once you got your visa approval you have to go for stamping appointment (choose stamping service )
