I think once you enter your passport number in the system, it will be detected for any further appointment. So, it is advisable to cancel it. You don't want to be denied visa based on some small mistake.

It depends on the country you are from. I know it's one year in Nigeria but in Ghana they are still using the appointment Portal and you can get it in three months.
Hey Man. Love your videos . I have a concern visa related. I have 8 years study gap after 12th grade pass and admission into bachelor. During those 8 years, I don't have much documents to show work experience. 1year I was studying in an Engineering college and then dropped out. I had a certificate of participation in a mechanical workshop during my college that year. Then I was doing some part time works to support my family. Cuz I had financial problem. I could show a document of my poor financial status. And I was doing some local household electrical as a self electritian for which I don't have much documents bcz I didn't work for any company . If I got an acceptance letter from say from a public university in Germany for MS, What will be the chances of getting a visa ? (My bachelor electrical engineering , my cgpa average . 10th grade very good, 12 th grade average ) (some study abroad consultancy told me that there's higher chances of rejection. Though they aren't authorized consultant. I'm so confused.)
