Don’t buy a bike you can’t pick up by yourself if you plan on riding by yourself.
Especially if you plan on riding remotely, and loading it up with gear.
I just watched a video of a guy in Australia who had a small crash and struggled to get his leg unstuck from under it.
Luckily he wasn’t injured, as he would probably still be there.
He was on the Gun Barrel highway in Western Australia, which is not a place you want to get stuck in for any length of time.
Yeah had to help a guy stuck under his bike felt bad for him had been stuck for awile

I own a Kawasaki Versys and it is an awesome GT, but definitely not and adventure bike. Same for most of the bikes here. Call them tourer with high ground clearance, but not adventure bikes.
Kawasaki are dragging their heels on building a proper adventure bike, the KLR 650 just doesn't cut it on it's own anymore.
No way the Versys should be in this review as a ADV dirt bike. Its the ultimate road sport ride on pavement and limited clearance to be considered a dirt-friendly bike.
If you look at Kawasaki's official website, Vereis 1000 is listed among adventure motorcycles.

Agreed. I have a 2022 Versys 1000 and I wouldn’t even consider taking it off road. It’s an adventure styled bike designed to be comfortable for long distances, and in that capacity, it’s a fantastic machine.
@@JoomMoto The website mentions “open road”, “touring”, and “town riding” as its primary design purpose. With 17” cast wheels front and rear, there’s no way this is an off road bike. It is an adventure styled bike designed to be comfortable over long distances on paved roads. I have a 2022 Versys 1000 and there’s no way I’d even attempt to take it off road.
Definitely a professional review. The KTM is an amazing machine.

Almost all bikes too heavy and powerfull for real Offroad use. And a lot of them have limited suspension travel. Better to take a Bike around 200 kg and 600-800 cc. Yamaha tenere 700,aprilia Touareg, BMW 850 GS,...

Proberly is the best off road but drinks the fuel as the mutistrada does if I was gonna choose 1 for R.W.T it would be the Honda Africa twin or the New Triumph Tiger rally explorer

From Bangladesh,most of Bangladeshi bearing capability to buy HIG CLASS MOTOR BIKES,no doubt we liked Japanese bikes,HONDA,SUZUKI,YAMAHA,KAWASAKI extremely popular,due to to present pro Indian government imposed embargo on CC LIMIT 165 here we dishearten because of bloody Indian influence into the present government that CC limit not be increased,for Bangladesh I recommended 500 would be the best.

I love how the marketing teams all think people are going to buy these $20K + bikes and go playing around in the dirt. The reality of large adventure bikes is that very few people who buy them will ever do any of that stuff. They deck them out with every accessory like they’re ready to take on the world and then go grocery shopping with it.
And this is why I like my humble 2023 Honda CB500x. Great gas mileage and the cost of the bike didn't break the bank.
In recent days, grocery shopping has become adventurous with gangs looting the shops.

@@JoomMoto you are very wrong, this motorcycle from China is much better, it has a KTM 790cc engine, branded brakes from Juan, excellent dynamic characteristics and is loaded with technological innovations such as radar, blind spot monitoring, 6 maps, BSD, LCA, RCW, ABS- IMU, T-BOX on an 8" display and others that are not used not even in biggest Japanese and German brands at the moment. CFMOTO is on market for more than 30 years. Warranty 5 years or 40 thousand km. I own a Honda Transalp, BMW F850gs and CF moto. I can definitely say that CF moto is making great strides and is already ahead of the competition. So tell me at least three basic facts why a bike from China from CFMoto can't compete with Japanese or German brands?

The review compares adventure bikes oriented on roads (Ducati, MV Agusta, Kawasaki, Suzuki) with offroad oriented bikes (KTM, Honda) and BMW which is suitable for both (road, offroad). Totaly wrong review 👎
Definitely BMW GSA 1250 is the best ADV Motorcycyle
Sometimes you go to a dirt road and find it closed, so you have to take another road, but there are a lot of difficult terrains. KTM owners are the only ones on this list who take it without thinking
@@snowandl4195Have you ever tried to ride BMW1250 GS offroad? If not dont judge it just by pics or youtube reviews by guys who have never ridden the bike. As an owner of KTM890 Adv have tried BMW 1250 to compare. BMW is awesome offroad! KTM is great but BMW is better.
It’s just me? I’m never going to use a 30000€ motorbike on gravel terrain, it’s ok for journalists how get bike from factory and don’t pay for repairs, they think we are idiots?
It makes sense buddy. But don't forget Adventure motorcycles are designed to ride on gerael terrain and rough roads. If you don't want to ride on geravel terrain, it is better to buy a sport bike.
@@JoomMotoLot of people choose ADV bikes because of riding comfort, windprotection, capability to put on some luggage during long drives (daily mileage 500 km or more). Sportbikes are great but not comfy for long drives especially for tall people. Try to drive 600 km dailly on MV Agusta Brutale 800 R with luggage. Nonsense.
Some people buy the 30.000 bike due to its offroad capabilities 😅 BMW 1250 gs can manage everything. It is well balanced and full of electronic, thats why the price. But I know people who ride it only on paved roads.

I don't think there is a bike that gives you a real taste of dirt roads more than the KTM. Look at all the reviews. Everyone at first agrees on the BMW 1250 GS, but changes their mind after trying the super adventure 1290 r
