Question. So in order to make 350-380whp in these wrx would you need headers and upgrade internals. To run that power on 93 pump gas
Turbo and headers, yes. Maybe not internals... They should be good for 400
switching out fortune autos for faction fab is crazy
Fortune Auto is a great company but their FA 500s don't really hold up on track. Factionfab's FR v2 is a track dedicated coilover that they literally put to the test on the track throughout it's development 🤷♂️ they've been amazing so far
@@WRXGarage lol there’s nothing different about those coils. They are not two way adjustable or anything. Unless you opted for a softer spring rate. I guarantee you the fa500 is the better option, with a higher quality damper.
The 500s don't have digressive valving like the 510s do, the FF FR V2s do, and they come from the factory with a spring rate setup for the track. Also, my track class doesn't allow 2 way adjustable coilovers
@WRXGarage idk. When I got my WRX and was looking at coilovers to buy, I settled on the FA500's and finally gave in and decided to try them out after hearing so much praise about them within the Subaru community. And honestly, yeah they ride pretty nice for coils... but I was kind of let down and thought they were way overhyped and overpriced. I honestly could've just gone with Silvers and would've got the same ride quality for cheaper. Luckily I got my FA500 during a huge sale for like $1350 or something, otherwise I would've been pissed if I spent over $1500 lmfao. Not to mention the ride height adjustment is so limited, and my rear collars got seized not even after a year in Dallas weather? Like tf? Idk my Blitz coils on my S13 were smoother than these FA500's. For the same money I'd rather go with HKS coils.
@@WRXGarage the 500s have a digressive piston too, the 510s are just more aggresive. Faction fab doesnt even advertise the FR v2 as having digressive tech at all. they look identical to any taiwanese coilover, looks like they increased the spring rate, but putting both on a shock dyno i can guarantee the fortune auto is better
I would like to know how much did you spend in your build? I have a Subaru WRX 2018 premium red color and I would like to build it the same way cause I would like to take it to the track as well.
I haven't ever calculated everything but I'd have to guess parts, tune, etc... maybe around 15-20k

I’m pretty sure that was his friend Kyle’s blue WRX when they were both making content together. Kyle traded his blue WRX for truck and Kevin moved to a different state.
