    I wonder if it would interest you to know there are cities and towns in Canada that enjoy MUCH milder winters than Kansas? So...depending where. You can definitely visit Canada in the winter TO WARM UP!

      Wow that’s interesting! What places have mild winters?

      @@AngelaBagel The average January temperature in the very warmest cities, towns, and neighborhoods of Canada approach the mid-40s (averaged between day and night)...whereas the average January temperature in KC and Topeka Kansas is in the high 20s (maybe 29 degrees?) - also averaged between day and night temperatures.
      If you only understood just how much milder that feels! To put it into perspective, January in those ultra mild Canadian locations is about as warm as Kansas first Spring month (March) - which also averages about mid-40s! And January would feel even MILDER than Kansas Spring month of March in those ultra mild Canadian locations because of much lighter wind speeds.
      The low lying cities, towns, and neighborhoods in-and-around the cities of Victoria, Canada and Vancouver, Canada are the very mildest (particularly in the valleys)! I promise if you spend a full January there it would feel like Spring to you. You'll be IN SHOCK!

      @@AngelaBagel One more interesting fact for you. To put things into perspective, the month of January is normally as warm in the warmest parts of Canada as they are in the Northern city-suburbs of the Dallas-Fort. Worth metropolitan area in Texas (e.g. Frisco; McKinney; Denton; etc...).
      That is to say that the average January temperature - averaged between day and night - is the same!

    Thanks for this video! We're going to Banff later this year and I've been really worried about taking the dog (about the size of yours) to Moraine Lake now that the road is closed off. It's great to know they allow a carrier.

    Hi, is the America the Beautiful park pass really accepted in Banff?

    • @AngelaBagel
      @AngelaBagel  Рік тому

      Okay so…. I really thought so! I just googled it again so I could attach a link for you, but now that I’m looking for an official website with this information, I’m not finding it! You know how when you Google something, Google will give you quick answers on the results page (like without actually having to click on the results)? There’s a couple things there that make it sound like the America the Beautiful pass is accepted, but now that I’m clicking further I’m seeing that these websites are talking about other Canadian passes 😩 So I guess it’s not accepted!! Oops!!! I did not mean to cheat the system, omg!! 😩😅

    Here you go! I have enclosed a video of Victoria, Canada taken in February 2015. Vegetation DOES NOT LIE! Victoria, Canada's beautiful February vegetation is a sure indication of a perpetually mild winter climate! Hopefully this gives you an idea just how mild the winters are in the mildest parts of Canada!...ua-cam.com/video/RgNUf6kFOVQ/v-deo.html

      @@AngelaBagel I will enclose one more video that will make a believer out of you for sure.
      Note that this is a more randomized video since it was during the Winter Olympics in February 2010 (in Canada). It's a little cooler in Victoria early morning but still fairly mild. But...the vegetation is still similar.
      It's the Today Show in Victoria during February 2010 (the video I showed you earlier was more "hand-picked"...so to speak...and was February 2015!).

    Can we board the shuttle without having tickets booked online?

    • @AngelaBagel
      @AngelaBagel  Рік тому

      If you don’t buy tickets online, you would have to buy your ticket at the booth in person before you get on the shuttle. But the ticket is required to get on the shuttle bus. The benefit to buying online is just ensuring that you get a ticket for the day and time you want to go because they can sell out!

      Thanks@@AngelaBagel Tickets in the morning are all sold out for the season. For last few days I have been trying to see if I can book 4 tickets at 8AM but immediately when the seats open they get sold out. No luck !!! Only option now seems to be booking slots that are available later in the day.
