Lyrics:
Days go by
But they go by oh so slow
Endless thoughts
That go by but never show
That I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
I'm with you
To contemplate that maybe even
Though it seems
That I go to great extremes
It's just that I'm
Caught in never-ending dreams
Where I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
I'm with you
To contemplate that maybe even
In the middle of the day
I can think of things to play
That would make us so happy
We could count our sins together
Knowing full well that we'd never
Really know where we could go
If you do then let me know
Otherwise let's just go on
Counting sins that reach to 7
I don't think we'll get to heaven
I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
I'm with you
To contemplate that maybe even
I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
I'm with you
To contemplate that maybe even
I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
I'm with you
To contemplate that maybe even
I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
I'm with you
To contemplate that maybe even
I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
I'm with you
To contemplate that maybe even
I'm with you
To count the days that make up 7
this is why i love strawberry switchblade. all of their demos have such a familiar, nostalgic melody
Jill is evidently not happy with her lead vocal on this track and "Michael Who Walks By Night"; she typically did relegate her voice to backing harmonies. That said, THIS IS AWESOME! Jill, though you may not be able to appreciate your own work - we *are* our own harshest critics, after all - we fans are truly thankful!
Agree, it's tough not to hear yourself how you would like to but I loooooooove her vocals on this so much and am very glad we have it.
Yes this is my favourite strawberry switchblade song
love her soft timbre, I wish we would have gotten another album out of them with some more of Jill being more prominent in the songs. It's a nice slight contrast. It's funny because Rose's voice in other songs or bands would probably make it sound even more "poppy" because of her pitch but she makes songs sound incredibly haunting, so Jill's voice kind of grounds it again in contrast at least for Strawberry Switchblade type of songs. I love that this exists though, so at least we have an idea of what it could of been like if more songs were put out on record.
JILLS VOICE? HOLY SHIT????? THIS IS SO GOOD
A shame that they didn't release this when they were "around". Very charming.
I love this song so much, I wish there were at least two more albums of songs to enjoy~ I guess I should be happy there is at least one ^_^ thanx for this amazing song!
lowkey the best switchblade song
De los mejores demos que he escuchado, ojala strawberry switchblade hubiese tenido mas álbumes, hubieses sido tan encantador y placentero para el oido. 🖤🖤🖤
This is so good. Not heard this before.
Absolutely gooooooooorgeous :-) SO dreamy and perfect * + *

sweet jill song indeed, perfect Str Sw song! future one?!! who knows!!
This is so underrated
love this song
"Endless eyes they go by, but never show"🍓🔪
Nice
I have this mp3, I find the song soothing.
i thought their demos didnt really use any electronic noises? still a good song just wondering if its really one of their first songs
Pleasant.
could you upload or send me all 10 of jill's solo demos from this album pls?
There are more?!
Is this Strawberry Switchblade, or a demo by Jill recorded after Rose buggered off?
It's a demo that was recorded while they were still together, but working separately due to how badly their relationship had deteriorated.
Niceeeeeee!!!!!!~
Can you upload "By the Sea" ?
@Trymlokk in fact it would ve been a great Str Sw song !!
This is much more superior to Since Yesterday. Should've been a hit single.
x
It's ok I prefer the LP over this track.
lol bela lugosis dead
it’s called a bossa nova rhythm
@* I was like 16 and thought trad goth was the coolest thing ever when I made this comment I am cringing
@@Mezmer7777 😭
@@Mezmer7777LOL no don’t cringe I thought the exact same thing!
Let's keep a grip on ourselves, shall we. Unlike her partner, Jill never had what it took to survive in music-making and this song shows why, all too clearly!
literally eat charcoal
Jill was talented, as was Rose, there's no competition to be had here and both of them have struggled with mental illness, which is is a large part of why Jill didn't want to continue. You can't really fault Jill for not wanting part of an industry as cynical as the music industry, especially when she'd have to face even more goons like you making snide comments like this flippantly.
BOIIII stfu
who leaves some bitter shit like this? she's got more chops than you'd ever dream of havin, who's ever heard of ya anyways?
Eat rocks
