i moved to london 20 hours before the funeral. i got two hours of sleep because i decided to go all in the next morning and left my accommodations at 4:00am. by the time i got to Westminster, tube stations were closed, streets were blocked off, but some how i pushed my way three rows from the front at parliament square and saw both processions. met some really awesome people and stood for 8 hours. it was bone chilling to hear the crowd fall silent, sing god save the king, and watch people bow as the queen passed by one last time. what a time to move to london
So cute- I drove 4 hours down from York at 6am on the day to go the The Long Walk, I saw her it was unforgettable, the most incredible part were the cannons going off, they knocked the air from my lungs each timed they fired, it was a glorious day and send off for her late Majestic Elizabeth the 2nd
Hi. I got a train down from Yorkshire to be in London for the funeral I remember seeing all the people walking like you did I brought back sad memories of the weekend. I ended up at Hyde park there was tens of thousands of people there too it was very emotional Enjoy your time in uk 🇬🇧 you’re a very positive young lady
It's so strange to think about how you were able to experience first-hand such a historic moment. It was my birthday the day of the funeral and we sat in our local pub for dinner watching the funeral, definitely a weird birthday. Also I cannot believe how long you had the apartment to yourself before Valeria moved in! But at least you had an opportunity to get your bearings and set yourself up 😊
another great video looks like your circle of friends is growing more each day good for you, are you more comfortable now from your first week when you were lonely and wasn't London packed for the funeral at least now you have your flat mate with you look forward to your next video take care Izzy
Izzy, that was definitely your worst video. You did not express any sense of the loss that made so many tens of thousands of people poor into London for that funeral. Your video was puerile, more about promoting Pret. Seeing you & your friend on your phones in the pub during the beautiful moment of the lone piper in Westminster Abbey just highlights that you really didn’t appreciate the significance & solemnity of that occasion. Please dig a bit deeper into the City that you have chosen for your studies.. You’re a bright person!! 🇬🇧👑
Although I believe you mean well, this was a bit harsh. As an American, of course she won't feel even close to the same magnitude of sorrow that the Brits do about the Queen's passing and it's not fair to expect her to. I think this was much better than her pretending to feel something she wasn't just for the video. Also I'd be surprised if no one else there used their phone during the entire ceremony.
Completely accept that Izzy might not, sadly, feel the depth of sorrow or gravity of the Queen’s loss. I do feel social media influencers have an audience & with that, a wonderful opportunity to inform and not just advertise, especially during such a powerful service. Izzy does great work, in my view, helping her demographic with so many life challenges.

I didn’t get to the funeral but I did que for 12 hours to pay my respects in Westminster Hall. Felt I had to do it being an ex serviceman.

Mince pies !! You’re going festive early 🎄
The chandeliers in the pub were good! The trench coat is great, too. Also tube gatelines always have one wide gate for luggage.
If in doubt go to the pub.
Very British! 😆🇬🇧
