This kinda makes me feel guilty, and I don’t even know why. I’ve only ever gotten the good endings for everyone(except for Saeran because I’m broke af to even get his route)because I’m too much of the wuss to get the bad endings. I honestly want all the characters to just have a happy ending with MC.
It was at this moment that MC knew...

I mean
I guess I get it. The "MC" aka, "We" are kind of the ones controlling them. Perceiving this from a non-game stand-point, it's like we come out of no where and change things, usually in a bad way. Whenever we get bad endings, we restart, right? Erasing everything and restarting over and over again and until we get a good ending, hurting them until we get what we want.
And even then, we feel the need to be with new people: First Yoosung, then Zen, Jaehee....until Jumin and in the end most of us try to end up with Seven, right? Some of us only play with casual route to get enough hourglasses to finally end up with Jumin/Seven. Sometimes we even skip those routes to get straight to them.
We know it's a game, so it doesn't matter if we get a bad end. We're just like, "oh that's sad, but I'll try again" yet like I said, if you think about it from a non-game stand-point, it's like we come in and do whatever we want, just messing with their lives.
Because no matter what end we get, good or bad, it always hurts someone in the end, doesn't it?
*SPOILERS*
Like in the good ending with Seven, Vanderwood takes Saeran, mistaking him for Seven while the MC and Seven attempt to track Saeran down. The RFA holds the party without them, and Jumin holds a speech saying how he's disappointed about the RFA hiding secrets from its members and thanks the MC and Seven, who he calls by his real name.
Then Seven and the MC sit on the edge of a cliff in his car, listening the feed and Seven's all happy now, asking the MC to call him by his real name and saying he hopes he can overcome his past together.
Okay? And that's the good ending. You never find out what happens to Saeran and Vanderwood, (not including the after ending).
All I'm saying is, someone will always get hurt in the end. Even if we end up changing one RFA members lives, the others will be heartbroken. Like what they say about Zen loving us during all the routes? Or Seven? Yeah, it's probably true but sadly, we can't make everyone happy. Now matter how much we want to.

The Human Otaku lolol nope, that's exactly what's going on. The good endings are only the best for MC and the character they chose to have the good ending with, while it's not always the best for everyone else ^^ you're right on point 👍

Unfortunately, I can't suffer and cry with the comment section today lol. I only went through Yoosung's Route so, I can't quite relate (though I did bought the Deep Route and such for some reason). It just felt so wrong to play as "me" in real time and date all the characters. I tried but dropped it as soon as I was at the prologue. TwT

I feel so guilty now... I haven't played all the routes (only Yoosung, Zen and Seven 2 times) but I this makes me feel so fucking bad... I never actually put my real name in there, just a nickname I made up for my accounts, because I didn't like the MC being actually "me". I hated that I always hurt someone and it was just UGH!!! This comic actually represents what I felt while playing the game, every time I changed something. I was so aware, that in the later days (5 - 11) almost everything I do will change what'll happen. And I actually felt SO sorry for Saeran and wanted to know what happened to him but I'm broke and I can't buy the Seven after ending or the Saeran and V routes. I just feel so fucking guilty and sad rn... 😭😭😭😭

Yo tampoco, pero esto me hace sentir un poco menos culpable,jugué el juego por primera vez en 2016 o por ahí, jugué la Casual history y me la pase muy bien jugando la ruta de Yoosung pero como no tenía suficiente espacio en el teléfono la desinstalé después de pasarme el juego, a mitades de 2017 conseguí un nuevo teléfono con mas espacio y a principios de 2018 vi un video de Pomodoro del meme de suki suki, y entonces recordé los buenos momentos que pase jugando Mystic messenger así que me dieron ganas de descargarme el juego otra vez, me cree una nueva cuenta porque no recordaba la anterior y antes de jugar el juego compré 100 relojes,me compré la Deep history y estoy orgullosa de decir que me salió el good ending a la primera en la ruta de seven xd, era muy feliz con mi esposo virtual; incluso me compré el after ending y el especial de san valentin pero lastimosamente volvió el problema del espacio y desinstalé la aplicación nuevamente. Solo diré que si me pagaran por todas las veces que intente descargarme el juego otra vez por culpa de estos cómics sería millonaria.
