I'm a black man stopping in for a moment to let my black women know how gorgeous you really are. Thank you for always being at the top of your game. I love you!
Aww that was so very sweet
@@ReRe_642 No problem sista. You deserve it.
Thank you!
Beautiful comment
@@keishapuryear8180 Good morning Keisha. I needed to say that because you ladies are very special. Please be safe.
I am a molecular biologist and trust me when I say that the science behind what you are sharing is spot on! It makes me giddy! Your curl restoring treatment has literally changed my hair for the better. It’s so healthy now. I think that you are an undercover scientist!
Thank you!! I read a lot lol
Same...im a chemist who develops personal care products and preach against some of the topics she mentioned (like putting food in your hair 😱). People follow youtubers and they are wrong. Love that she has a science background too and speaking the truth.
@@ileanasantamaria2364 First I respect what the young lady is preaching! However, I disagree with her. I use avocado with a mixture of green oils weekly, and my hair is growing like crazy, I already had long hair, but know it is past my bra strap. What was a game changer, was using clarifying shampoo, and conditioner. Shelf life products have no life. The young lady is selling a line of products. Know your hair. For example I stop flat ironing and blow drying.
@@tuduleshiggins8832 can you on use clarifying shampoo? I r been only using clarifying shampoo on my little girl's hair and I wonder if that's a bad thing.
MoKnowsHair reading 📖 is the best tool anyone can handle but not many do. Knowledge is power but it’s nothing if not putting it to work ! Loving 🥰 your ty clips

😂😂😂
Literally watching this doing the same thing
😂😂😂 Same! I am so hurt thinking my 2 hr deep conditioning was the bomb when it truly was....blowing up my way to healthy hair!
Food in hair (avocado, banana mask)- check, dirty brushes, I’ve had for years- check, leaving the conditioner in way past the recommended time- check, going to bed with wet hair- check, Using regular conditioner to detangle/prepoo and therefore rendering the deep conditioner useless afterwards- check. Over 10 years natural and I’m still learning- check. Let me go sit my a** in a corner, I’m in time out right now to think about my life decisions.🤦🏽♀️😂
😂😂😂😂😂. Make room for me too!! 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
. .. . .
I’m with you 😔😭
Please take consolation in the fact that you are not alone. I am guilty of all of these, but number 3 is where I am the most guilty.
Sherita Dunbar, you are too too funny! I am right in the corner with you, lol. I see all my bad habits in this video.
When u hear the OG moknowshair intro music, u know it's gonna be a good video
Facts!
Over processing the hair by leaving a deep treatment on for too long, my God... I'm gonna have to unlearn some things UA-cam taught me
People are committed to this one. I was at an event and a cosmetologist said the same thing Mo said about DCs. Folks (including the event organizer) starting arguing with the woman. 😂 She said what she said!
Wow 😂 I’m used to ppl getting mad... I’m just sharing facts. I didn’t make it up 🤷🏽♀️
There’s a lot that I have applied from UA-cam/Internet and it screwed me up. Lol.
@@cutenobi can u imagine 😳
You tube will have u out here bald if u listen too many of the wrong uneducated ppl... trust me I learned the hard way.
YES! Finally someone confirms my suspicions. My hair has so much breakage, but I don't blow dry, or use heat tools. All I do wash 2x week. However, I use lots of conditioner. A stylist told me "You can't over condition" but I started suspecting my excessive conditioning is damaging my hair. Thank you for this. Love the tip about washing correctly to set up conditioner.
I think using rinse out and mask along with leaving them both in too long (20-30mins) is causing my damage and dryness. I was told to do this by a few stylist.
So what you telling me is???? I've been wasting deep treatment. I aint gonna lie, this hurts a bit. lol
I know, I know... but knowing better is being able to do better and save yourself some time and product 🙌🏾
Bruh! Bet I never use my rinse out conditioner again. I use it every, single TIME
Me toooooo. I can’t believe I’ve been doing it wrong for yeaaaars
@@coaluck Same! I never used rinse out conditioners because I thought my deep conditioner was enough...come to find out it wasn't. I start using a rinse out conditioner along with the deep for the last 3 wash days, and my hair did a total 360!!!!
@@apara2005 I thought she was saying don't use both rinse out and deep conditioner at the same time? I'm confused now Lol. I guess if it's working for you go off sis, everyone's hair is different.
Mo, you dropped a major 💎 for me when you said that the rinse-out conditioner blocks the treatment/mask from penetrating! Gonna finish the rest of the video now...
Was watching this while deep conditioning my hair....never have I ever paused a video, jumped up and ran to the shower so fast to rinse my hair
"Your hair is not your stomach" say this again for the kids in the back!! Lol
Compound are compounds. THIS Comes from a Scientist. Egg protein is protein. There can be overlap
I actually use rinse out conditioner first to detangle, then wash my hair, then use deep conditioner...i also never condition longer than the product says, i try to always use heat, but i don’t believe in overnight deep conditioning unless it’s a natural oil (pre poo) and i wash out the next morning. Understanding this totally changed my hair care, youtube literally ruined my hair for years.
I’m going to try this !!
Great tips and your hair is GORGEOUS 😍. Definitely hair goals!
My favorite hair video and favorite nail video 🥰
Been following since 2014. This mane has come a long way. Always beautiful but now it's curlier a suuuuuper long! After she attended Paul Mitchell her expertise is now out of this world and it shows on her own head! Love it!

Come on, science!!
🙌🏾🙌🏾
Talk to a Scientist like someone with a Phd. Like Curly Chemistry who has a degree in Chemistry. Knows bonds and products. These are all compounds.
She reminds me of Rae Dawn Chong back when she was young.
Yes she does she’s beautiful.
I was getting Corinne Bailey but I can see Rae as well
I learned something new today. I definitely was using a rinse out conditioner then a deep conditioner which it seems is a no-no! Thanks for the tip, Mo!
This was a huge thing I learned from
Her! I stopped doing both months ago. And no negative effects!
Same here, time to switch it up.
I learned this through experimenting about 2 years ago and girl after I switched it up my hair growth took off. I went from armpit length in August 2019 to almost waist lenght in March 2021
I just heared this tip while letting my hair dry after a rinse out conditioner followed by deep conditioner 🌚💔💔time for a change 😂💔
Same!
Dropping knowledge! Welcome back, Queen!
My wigs don’t even look as nice as your hair. Gorgeous! Thank you for this video
I soooo love how thorough you are Soror!!!!!
Look at you with all that beautiful hair, talkn AND walkn the walk! Thank you, sis! 🙌🏾
Mo’s hair is looking outstanding in this video!! Is that a wash an go, braid out. Love it!! As always Queen of knowledge😍😍
Great tips!! Thanks so much. You never let us down with information regarding hair questions.
I love to see a professional like Mo with beautiful hair! It makes you really pay attention.
Yes Mo!! Love how you educate! I'm loc'd but love the education! Also the background music is fire!!
Sis I’ve been following you for years and man your hair is still gorgeous...
Looking at her hair in total awe. So beautiful!
So great to see Mo here again and YES, Mo KNOWS HAIR.
Beautiful and always knowledgeable - Thank you Mo!
Talk about knowledge!! Thank you 🙏 I am so glad somebody address applying food to your hair so eloquently put. I never been a big fan of that.
You are super smart and full of knowledge! Never learn so much in one video about my hair!
This is what we have been missing . Knowledge based on facts . Thank you for sharing.
Mo’s voice has always been so therapeutic 😌
OMG - your hair has grown sooo much!!! Thanks for the tips
This needs to be seen by eeeeverybody. Excellent video!!!
Thank you for these tips! I love your channel & advice even tho I’m Relaxed ☺️
I'm so happy to see hair care professionals letting people know the real deal. I don't want to bash the natural hair movement. I'm just glad the pros are here. I'm a Cosmetologist myself.
Thank you for the information and the visuals of the brushes. You always teach us so much about hair in such a calm and professional manner. Thank you.
Wow!! Your hair is amazing and I love your products! My hair is thriving!!
I'm glad you explained the DC and Rinse out conditioner. I've been doing it the way you shared and always wondered if I was doing it right and I see that I am. Thanks 😊
Geez your hair has GROWN and it beautiful. Thanks so much for the information much success to you.
Mo you’re so professional!! I love your voice!!! I’m buying whatever you’re selling girl.
This was so informative and I THOUGHT I was fairly advanced in this. Thank you. It's refreshing to LEARN SOMETHING again!
Straight to the point & a lot of relevant information...love it . I find most UA-camrs tend to talk way too much and they take too long to get to the point, and then I tend to tune out. This is definitely worth watching...Thank you.
This definitely helped me. Thank you again for the tips.
One of the best natural hair videos I have ever seen. Thank you 😊♥️
Thank you for being you - and always providing such detailed information. You were one of the first natural hair gurus I started following. Because of that I haven't had to "unlearn" bad habits during my journey.
I do not know how & why I didn’t know about you or your channel for all of these years of skipping around on YT... however it’s been a pleasure viewing your videos and hearing your various professional tips! I appreciate everything you have shared in this video! Thank you!
Wow that's true about the over-conditioning. I was rushing through my last wash day and only left conditioner in my hair long enough to detangle instead of leaving it in all day like I usually do. My hair felt softer and even easier to detangle with the conditioner in for 15 minutes rather than 5 hours lol
Great tips and reminders for healthy hair. Thanks for sharing!
The very first tip called me right out 😭😭 this might be the MOST informative hair care video I’ve ever seen. Thank you for this!
I recently purchased your products during the sale at Sally's. I love the results so far, especially the scalp cleanser.
Well explained, thank you dear for sharing information
Love your tips, haircare line & hair! Healthy hair goals!
Your hair is BEAUTIFUL! Great tips thank you!
Your voice is so soothing and engaging! Great information!I could listen to your videos all day!
Wow, your hair has grown so much. Beautiful curls.
Thanks a bunch for the information. You are always on point. And your hair...it's on a glow all it's own. Fabulous!
so interesting what you said about conditioners. i’ve been cleansing and going straight into deep conditioning, cutting out the regular conditioners simply because i felt like i didn’t need them anymore. but now i am paying more attention to it because of what you just said.
Mo, I have “ALL “ of your hair products and I find myself recommending them often. They are made with quality and very affordable. These hair tips are tried and true! 👍🏽🥰
I never subscribed to a channel quicker. I am so excited to learn with you. This video makes so much sense and has been so helpful. Yaaaasss get me together ❤
Thanks for hitting on that overnight treatment😊....Was so confused with that....You are awesome🥰
The knowledge I'm learning. I love it !
Thanks so much for the sound information! ❤️
Yay!!! Lovely to see you back!
This was a very awesome video. There's a few things that I need to stop doing. Thanks for this! ❤️
MO, I have loved you and your videos for YEARS! You are, hands down, THE MOST informative hair care specialist that I have ever seen. I appreciate the knowledge that you share with us. Keep it coming! 😁😁👍👍❤️❤️
MoKnowsHair your hair is GORGEOUS
Totally random, but YOU BROUGHT THE OLD BACKGROUND MUSIC BACK!!!! YAY! LOL. I used to vibe to it when I first discovered your videos. When you changed it, I liked it, but was slightly disappointed about the change, but glad you brought it back temporarily. lol. Thank you also for the tips/tricks! I've learned something new today! Many continued blessings to you. :)
Omg look at your hair it grown so much it’s gorgeous
I’ve FINALLY found the information that I needed. Thank you!
Really comprehensive video as always! Love your products
Always the true advice. Thankyou Mo.
Woooow, that first conditioning tip. I didn't even know that! Thank you so much Mo!
Made so much sense. Thanks for the much needed knowledge.
Your knowledge has been so helpful and I love the science background. It really helps to know the why and why not of healthy hair in a way that's easy to understand. I've seen amazing results from using your clarifying shampoo and treatment. I'm so happy, I'm sharing wherever I can. We need to have a template that is trustworthy and rooted in data!!
This was so informational... I use both conditioner types on my hair on wash day because I saw natural hair gurus did the same thing and their hair was as long as yours and I was regrowing my hair since I did a cut (I wanted my hair short). So I thought I should do the same and overtime I started havin issues with my crown( crown area has finer hair and a lower porosity). This makes perfect sense why I experienced so much breakage there ( I had to cut 2inches off my crown) when I was doing everything else right! I'm going back to my old routine, my hair was thriving then, guess what isnt broke don't need fixing.
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I really needed this information. I have some hair problems. My hair is very dry and shedding more. I know what i have to do. Have a blessed week.
Thank goodness! One 👏🏾of 👏🏾the 👏🏾best informative hair video on UA-cam by far!!! By an actual cosmetologist! Thank you Mo 💜 P.S love your curl and scalp clarifier
OMG! Your hair is on stretch! Thanks for sharing your expert tips especially during this time.
I am retired Hairstylist but you are the first stylist I have heard who truly knows hair keep up the good work
and yes they need trims at least every 6 to 8 wks.I was a stylist 30yrs and it was my passion I love to hear a stylist who knows what they are talking about. And your hair is beautiful.
🙏🏾💜
I love the Mo Knows Hair cleansers and conditioners. I haven’t tried the stylers.
Enjoyed your video thoroughly, thank you so much. Gorgeous hair girl!!!! ❤️
Yessssss thanks for the tips on the road to Healthy hair
Thank you for this professional informative straight forward information!
I love that you keep it real
OMG! you have products? I need to get my hands on these for my youtube tutorials. Glad I watched this. miss you!
This makes so much sense. Thank you.
The Curl Restoring Treatment is one of my favorites! I'm most definitely stocking up with the sale!
Does it restore your hair back to normal? I’m a male and left Product in my hair overnight and my curl pattern doesn’t look the same and keeps falling out when I get in the shower but I don’t wanna cut my hair. I’ve tried other restoration products but it doesn’t work for my hair. My hair texture is about a 3c
OMG!!!! YOUR HAIR IS EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL SISSY
This is why you are so loved and so appreciated!!
Thank you 💜
This was very helpful! Thank you for your insight.
This was great! Would love for you to do a video on shedding.
1:50 thank you for sharing the science behind skipping rinse out conditioners before deep treatments. So glad I followed my instincts! I don't use rinse out conditioners if I plan to deep condition, to save on time. That's why my deep conditioner has to have amazing slip to detangle.
Okay big sis your hair looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the info! I need to give my ends some TLC this week for sure
Thanks for the reminder 💕
Very useful information! Especially about the difference between conditioners! I have my quarterly color/cut at the salon today☺️
This is wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
Great tips as always Mo... I was wondering why I wasn't seeing the results I wanted when I cleanse, condition and then deep condition my hair. You've answered that question... now I have all this conditioner thinking doing the 3 steps was what I needed. I guess I'll have to use my rinse out conditioners as a pre-poo before cleansing my hair. Thanks for posting!
You are the most knowledgeable hairstylist I've ever seen. Your hair shows your practicing what your preaching!
Thanks for sharing 🥰 I’ll remove the rinse out conditioner from my wash day routine ☝🏾
Love this‼️ great tips 😍👌🏾👏🏾 thanks for sharing 👍🏾 absolutely gorgeous ❤️
