    Caught my first kings on spinners this summer. Effective and just happened to be some shortbus spinners behind some shortbus 360s

    Thanks for the info. Side note, when below Bonneville closed this September and everyone got crammed up river, Eric was one of the best people to fish next to trolling on the river. A bunch of other guide boats were total jerks: yelling, crowding people out when trolling, pushing them off their path trolling, getting tangled up with other boats. Everyday that I was out there Eric always kept it mellow and I really respect him for that.

    You guys rock, thank you so much for sharing with the public your knowledge. When I was young, it was hard to get people to tell you what they were using and I appreciate you two for sharing your knowledge. If you are ever in Hermiston, Oregon please stop by the Ranch and Home and ask for Matt and touch base with me in the fishing department.

    Great video guys!
    But what I didn’t catch was how often you change the bait in the superbait.
    I’m going about 20 min. Currently....
    I’m trying to use the Kokanee Cut Plug for Coho (the bait in area 8.1 is really small right now) and not getting bit.
    I’ve tried using Tuna soaked in Bloody Tuna scent and herring strips.
    I’m marking fish, others are getting bit (on Plug Cut herring)...
    Do I need to just bite the bullet and use Plug cuts (I hate having to cut them and then get the hooks in to spin it “just right”)?

      Super great Video guys . What size of Hooks do you use when re-tiying the Super baits ? Also what size of beads do you prefer under the belly of the Super plug ?

    • @shawnhenderson1130
      @shawnhenderson1130 Рік тому

      Brads baits are really best on the columbia. You wanna catch more fish at 8-1 I'd be fishing a double hook hootchie rig about 32 to 36" behind a flasher with a cured herring strip added. Will knock coho dead. Use 3.5 in squid with like 3/0 hooks.
