ஒரு எழுத்தாளன் கவிதைக்குள் மின்னல் இருக்க வேண்டும், கண நேரத்து தரிசனத்தில் இருந்து கவிதை பிறக்க வேண்டும் என்கிறான், ஏன் தொடர்ந்து பெய்யும் மழையில் இருந்த கவிதை பிறக்கக் கூடாதா, அந்தக் குளுமையில் இருக்கும் சிலிர்ப்பை, ஒரு நொடி மின்னல் கொடுத்து விடுமா, ஒவ்வொரு மழைத்துளியும் ஒவ்வொரு மின்னல் கீற்றாக தான் தெரிகிறது என் கண்களுக்கு எனக்கு மின்னலின் ஒரு கணம் போதாது , கனத்த என் இதயத்திற்கு, மழையில் நினைந்து கரைய வேண்டும் , அதுவும் ஒருவகை கவிதைகள் தான், யாரோ ஒருவருக்கு நிரூபிப்பதற்காக கவிதை எழுதுவதில்லை, தன் உணர்வு நிறைவை தொடுவதற்கு எழுதப்படுகிறது, உங்கள் ஒப்புதலுக்கும் நிராகரித்தலுக்கும் அப்பாற்பட்டது கவிதை, கவிதைக்குள் மின்னல் இருக்க வேண்டுமென்று எந்த ஒரு கட்டாயமும் இல்லை , மழையில் நனைய தெரிந்தவனுக்கு மின்னலைப் பற்றிய கவலை இல்லை, மழையில் நனைய தெரியாதவனுக்கு மின்னலே போதுமான.

It's a pleasure hearing him talk. Like Kambavaaridhi said once, you have to FIRST enjoy the presentation of the writer THEN go deeper and to understand the literary meaning and FINALLY dwelve there to understand the philosophical meaning and think through it. Jeyamohan might have mistakes, it's a given. But we have a lot to take from him and his mistakes don't cost us anything. So why care about it?
