Thanks for keeping me company this early - and COLD - Saturday morning! Got up at 3 a.m. to see my husband off on a solo canoe trip he's doing for the next couple of weeks, and it's been a relaxing morning in front of my spinning wheel since he left! Loved seeing all of your projects. I love that you're playing with dyeing! An idea for your too-purple yarn, or any color that you're not happy with...overdyeing can really save those colors! For instance, overdyeing that purple in even a very low dilution gray will mute that color down, and the nice thing is you can keep adding a little more gray until you reach a shade you're happy with. Or try other colors that work with purple in a complimentary way to modify your original color. It's fun to experiment! Superwash yarn is pretty tolerant of being reprocessed so overdyeing works well. Email me if you have questions! Enjoy your sunshine...looks like the coming week should be a bit warmer for us!
