Hyourinjutsu This is unrealistic because the Sun should've been a million times bigger than the spirit bomb,goku and Superman so I disagree but I still like the battle even if it was untealistic

Well, kinda, the whole spirit bomb rising from a hole was from GT, and absorbing the spirit bomb was from super 13, but it Looks and technically could be ultra instinct in a weird way!
A serious Goku would murder Vegeta that s why. Goku has too many dirty tricks he spared to use when fighting Vegeta. Solar Flare + Destructo disk is of of them.
@@VarietySeth Beerus has dirty tricks as well, and as much hax or more than Goku, but with more raw power. The fight will not be enjoyable for Goku. The most enjoyable fight for Goku, I believe was when he fough Piccolo at the age 19. Both are nearly at equal power levels, both used and spent all their dirty tricks and techniques and haxes: trash talking, feet kamehameha, turning giant, manipulation, homing missile energy balls, play dead, etc. At the end, both Goku's legs and arms were broken, lung punctured, and Piccolo was literally an inch from the grave. That was BRUTAL! If Gohan watch the battle I believe he would get a heart attack. Two of his most beloved people are killing each other. After Frieza saga, the battle basically strength vs strength, no fun anymore. If Dragon Ball Super fans watch the battle, they would be shocked lol.
@PETER PAN Hey, goku went to the moon when he was still a kid mate with nothing more then a power poll and three people he sent there. So, don't give us that saiyan's cant breath in space crap. It quite serious up to if toriyama had his tea in the early morning or not.

Vuubik I mean what’s the point in preserving anything if everything’s going back to how it was, I assume Shenron has that power, but Superman may not have known what Goku was talking about. To Goku, this was a sparring match, to Superman, this was the life or death of the universe.
I love how accurate and lore friendly this is to both characters, it highlights their personality and their actions based on those personal traits, Goku's ability to adapt to his opponent in mear seconds and find and exploit weaknesses, Superman's high morality and always holding back, which would be a more realistic encounter between these two characters who are highly driven because of their personality and not just their power. Excellent. Still one of the best animations on UA-cam.

It's only natural Superman would think he's either crazy, a villain, or, even if Goku did explain the wishes, some kind of sociopath, since even if all the damage is undone at the end he's still killing BILLIONS of people just to get a good fight.

I feel like it's forgotten that Goku is a martial artist and literally one of the best of all times. I feel like goku could really defeat most mortal things if he really applied his techniques more.
Martial arts is something that is not touched since classic dragon ball and superman has his fair share of combat knowledge, in any case, he would be fatigued by using his techniques more times instead of thinking rationally.

Look at the world tournament arc..He is able to fight with all types of warriors and this is as a kid. There is no version of Superman that is more adept in martial arts than Goku. As a Superman fan, even i can appreciate how this was done. Goku using strategy rather than just trying to overpower Superman, and Superman not holding back because of the threat Goku was to the whole universe. However because Goku entrusted Shenron to reset everything back to the way they were BEFORE the fight, there was no need to hold back. Goku allowed himself to go completely all out: ascending with each super saiyan transformation, absorbing Ki from every planet in the universe, blowing up the Sun, using ki, god ki, kaio ken, and his own life force as energy to blast Superman. This is how Goku vs. Superman was suppose to be, and even though Wiz and Boomstick did try their hardest with all the research, they still overestimated Superman while underestimating Goku. Goku may not be brilliant, but he is instinct prone and as he ascends with each transformation, his instincts become sharpened. Goku may have limits, but that still doesn't stop him from trying to go further beyond. As he have said, "Everything has a limit." But he has also proven that limits can be broken.

Yeah but I have no idea why a 20 ton difference makes Goku noticably faster at all, when this Goku is like duodecillions of times faster and stronger than Saiyan saga Piccolo in base, who could blow up the moon with a wrist flick in about 4 on-screen seconds.
While I do feel Superman should've won, I like that the animation seemed mostly impartial rather than making one of the characters look like a joke in the way that most people do. Truly an outstanding animation with a good story to back it up. Definitely one of the gems of UA-cam

Killer Queen no, his new form was not him simply absorbing the spirit bomb, the reason that form happened was because he was scared of his universe getting erased because he would have died. Hence the name ultra instinct, its called that because of the reason I just explained to you. That's my theory anyways.

Bloodshot Mars52 you’re on the right track. But holy absorbs the spirit bomb and that acts as the boost he needed to ascend to the next level which is ultra instinct. It’s a state of heightened senses. Literally the state is it’s name. That’s why he was able to fight Jiren toe to toe for a few moments before he lost it. Jax blade does a good rundown on what ultra instinct is.
not really. saiyan instinct is to destroy the opponent no matter what. This is shown with bardock and goku While he was a decent person, when he turned super saiyan they both turned hyper aggressive. Goku stopped using martial arts against freiza and went for brutal attacks and bardock savagely beat chilled. After they get angry enough, saiyans throw all reservations out the window. not to mention the ozaru which are mindless destroyers.
Goku has gone full savage before though. Just because a dog isnt trained to bite doesn't mean the dog wont get mad and bite you anyway. As Ive said before, When saiyans get pissed they stop careing.
Hayato Byakurai not exactly, in a movie goku used genkidama against android 13 but turned super sayan and absorbed the genkidama. Its not Canon, but neither was broly sooooo.
I like how you made Goku convert his life force to raw energy, because that is actually a Dragon Ball technique, like what Tien did against Cell with the Neo-Tribeam, and Tien was leagues weaker than Cell but was able to stall him for hours on end by converting his own lifeforce into energy to use against Cell, which makes sense in this instance as Goku would have no other way to survive against the Super Flare, but by stalling Superman out until he's drained, Goku can take a decisive victory that way.
I love how the animators got both Superman and Goku's personality well. And I love how the winner won by a hair. I will not give my calculation and bias, but THANK YOU guys for respecting both characters, and that DESERVES RESPECTS ! You got yourself a subscriber!
If Superman is strong as a human on his home planet with a red sun... then no sun should of made Superman so weak that just 1 punch from Goku would make Superman break and die. Also if anyone has watched Supergirl on Netflix then you would know she would die in space and Supergirl is stronger than Superman too. Superman should of died when he flew into space since in Supergirl... she can't survive in space if you've watched all 5 seasons of Supergirl.

You saying superman can’t breathe in space because super girl can’t on her show. Superman has flown in space MANY times and that really shouldn’t be a debate. Super girl can breathe in space too. Personally as someone who rlly likes superman i loved this fight even though goku won it had a reason for victory that made sense and portrayed superman's character accurately for the most part 10/10 good animation
Love the animation. I also love how these fights have some logical story to them, other than "hi Supes, I want to fight" or "You slightly annoyed me by being in my general vicinity, I will fight you to the death even though I wouldn't even kill my worst enemies." (like Death Battle). Also, from Superman's perspective, this must be scary. Some guy comes out of nowhere, attacks him, increases his own power through endless transformations, and blows up the sun. For no apparent reason.
From a martial arts standpoint, that's Goku's only true challenge left, think about it, if Goku had no powers for the entirety of a fight with Batman (except afterimage, vanishing and flight) Goku would probably find a true challenge in Batman.

hope you realised that the actual animations and sprites arent the creators. all he is doing is putting a series of pre made frames together to make a sequence. i mean the goku is straight from hyper dragon ball z
This fight was amazing although there is one fight I’m interested now that I’ve seen all your videos, Goku Black VS Injustice Super-man. I know it’s kinda pushing it but this would make it more interesting, would the results be the same? Or completely different? Would Goku Black be the victor or would injustice super man win because he doesn’t hold back? Honestly this could go either way but it would be epic to see.
Injustice Superman would be steamrolled by Goku Black. With his regime doing all the work, he grows extremely complacent and grows soft (in a sense,) to where he loses some of his strength. That's why normal Superman comes in and wipes the floor with him. It would be the same outcome if GB fought him.
I would also like to add on the other comment how comic super man is another breed especially that last form that one is better than all other Superman forms

destroying the sun is suicidal for goku and actually powers up superman cuz he would absorb a ton of energy from it right away. also spirit bomb doesnt affect pure hearted thats the explanation give why krillin and gohan were able to deflect it with no problems at all so its just bs around halfway but its a good animation tho

Ian Golden the scene is, when you use dragon fist he says "the spirit bomb is fading" then he absorbs it, he then becomes blue and electric, thus using the dragon fist

Plus, Goku would destroy the Sun, that's very in character. If it was to beat somebody, Goku would definitely blow up the sun if it was a fight to the death. SmoshFanX95 Why would Goku blow up the sun when there is a VERY real chance that he will die also? That doesn't even take into consideration that the sun also gives Goku a boost to his trump card that a lot if people forget. I love DBZ, watched&read it since I was 7. I love Goku WAY more than I like Superman...but to date Goku has not taken ANY attack higher than a planet buster head-on. The only opponent(s) who was strong and/or desperate enough to even do that are Beerus & Buuhan. The latter threatened to do so with magic and not so much an attack, the former just has no reason to use an attack of that scale.

Even it isn't clear how strong Saitama is, for all we know his strength could be limitless. The guy doesn't seem to ever take much damage post his training to become a hero, kind of difficult to measure it up against anyone since we don't know his limits.

GamJam Prop When it comes to fighting, Goku is literally a genius. Even canon in the anime, if you put something into terms of combat, he grasps it very well.
This battle was simly breathtaking and showed respect to both characters, Goku the invincible fighter and Kal-El of Krypton a.k.a Superman, the protector of life. The only thing that ruins it are whinning, annoying fanboys of both characters, bitchinf in comments and arguying over meaningless crap.
This was so much better than Death Battle's Goku vs Superman video. Though I honestly couldn't care less about the victor, since I enjoy both characters.

Nice animation, definitely more creative then Screw Attacks with the premise of it being an all-out fight with no consequences. But even still, I've got a few problems with some of its premises. 1. I don't think Goku would blow up the son. We're talking about the guy who gave Cell a senzu bean in order to ensure a fair fight between Cell and his son. Goku always looks to beat his adversary outright. The only time he doesn't do this is when he fights Buu and Omega Shenron, obviously drawing from others' power for a Spirit Bomb in order defeat these foes, but they are threats to the entire universe. I hardly think Goku would go to that extreme in a "spar" (your word, not mine) against Superman, someone as noble as Goku himself. 2. I love me some Goku, but the idea that he could survive a Superflare is also pretty ludicrous. Even post Dragon Ball Super, Freiza's destruction of planet Earth was enough to kill Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. Superflare is literally a Supernova. That's several thousand times more destructive than a planet blowing up. You can't justify Goku surviving it to the face. 3. I'm also questioning the end, drawing from his own life energy? Can anyone tell me the instance where Goku has been shown to be able to do this? Does it justify the power boost shown at the end of the animation here? I don't think so. I'm a lifelong fan of both characters, but unfortunately Superman does things that even Godly Goku hasn't even come close to.

No other opponent of his has drawn power from an external source, so why would he just out of nowhere assume that Superman it, instead of just believing that it's his own power that he's gradually revealing?

About number three, throughout the entire Dragonball franchise, we've seen plenty of characters sacrificing their life force in order to draw out more impact than they are usually seen capable of. We've seen Tien do it against Cell, we've seen Chiaotzu sacrificing his life force completely in an attempt to erase Nappa, we've seen Majin Vegeta pulling off the same trick against Majin Buu, and ultimately, we've seen SSJ4 Goku about to do it when facing Omega Shenron, in fact, his exact words to Omega Shenron were "Not until I show you a technique that my friend Vegeta used against Majin Buu", meaning that Goku can in-fact sacrifice his life force to increase the impact of his attacks as a last resort, it's just that we never got to see anyone do it in the variation shown here. So with all of the above said, why wouldn't Goku be able to pull it off? +DarthSka Goku is shown borrowing the sun's energy countless times in order to perform a Spirit Bomb, and not only that, he has thrown plenty of enemies towards the sun as well, meaning that he is quite familiar with the ki radiating from the sun itself. With that said, Goku can quite easily sense the sun's ki, and furthermore, since he borrowed the sun's energy a lot of times himself, Goku might as well be able to infer when someone else is also doing the exact same thing.
+captainshiv i'm not saying this video is completely accurate in regards to both characters, but i'm just responding to your points. 1- given the stakes here, goku knows shenron will be able to undo the damage once the fight is over, plus... fair fight? superman doesn't have his own powers, he just borrows it from the sun. like you said, goku only borrowed power from others to be able to destroy universal threats... in goku's eyes, superman isn't fair because he doesn't work on developing his own abilities, and only gets them from leeching off of the sun, to make it fair, he'd blow up the sun. 2- vegeta dies of the earth's explosion because of a lack of oxygen, not because of the explosion itself. if the force of an exploding earth was enough to kill SSGSS Vegeta, then why would gohan need to generate power stronger than cell's solar-system-buster kamehameha to defeat cell? he could just generate a power equal to saiyan saga vegeta's galick gun, which vegeta claimed to be able to destroy the planet... if not that, then first form frieza's supernova power that blew up planet vegeta (which is theoretically up to 10 times larger than earth) so now remember that super perfect cell required a solar-system buster attack to obliterate every single cell of his body... now look at goku in the battle of gods and resurrection F arcs. when he puts his guard down, a simple laser can penetrate him, but when he flares up his ki to protect himself and boost his attacks, he can withstand attacks that can blow up the solar system easily (power difference between SSGSS Goku and S. Perfect Cell is very very very huge... 100% sure cell can't put a dent in goku even if he uses 100% of his power into one blast). so in regards to goku's durability, he could withstand a supernova and more, the only thing that would kill him is lack of oxygen to support his body functions (although it's been shown multiple times that saiyans can survive without an atmosphere around them for a while, bardock against frieza and goku against beerus) 3- almost every z-fighter has drawn on his own life energy to beat a foe: chaotzu against nappa, tien against nappa and 2nd form cell (notice how tien's abysmal power level compared to cell would mean cell could wipe him out, yet drawing on his life force he could keep cell at bay at a level almost equal to super vegeta's attacks), vegeta uses every single bit of his life force in a contained explosion to wipe out buu into atoms...etc. there's no reason goku wouldn't use his life force in a dire situation. as for your last statement, i am the same, a fan of both, but one has to admit that god goku's powers are extremely underestimated... his fight with beerus, could have literally tore apart the universe they were in. old kai says 3 collisions could do that, goku and beerus collide twice and the 3rd time goku adapts to the fight and angles his fist so that the forces cancel out and don't spread momentum and turn the ripples that spread out through the whole universe to turn into tears in the fabric of reality.... here we have a perfect gauge of goku's power. beerus = 10 goku = 6 power needed to destroy the whole universe = 3 collisions between those 2. which would equal 16*3... factor in A LOT of power that cancels out between their fists, so the power that is needed to destroy the universe would be only whatever momentum is expelled from the collision outwards and not towards the two fighters' fists... so lets say times 2 and not 3 16*2 = 32 6/32 = 18.75% that means that with his full power in his god form, he could wipe out almost a fifth of the universe in one blast... i haven't seen anything from superman that can come even CLOSE to doing that XD
+DarthSka Temember that saiyans are born with tails and they in fact do use the moon as the source of their ape power. If you remembee, Piccolo did destroy the moon to take away Vegeta's power from him before the moon could do it's effect on him. Since Goku is a saiyan and he has fought other saiyans trying to do that method on him and his friends, it's safe to say that he could figure it out rather quickly.

The most enjoyable fight for Goku, I believe was when he fough Piccolo at the age 19.
Both are nearly at equal power levels, both used and spent all their dirty tricks and techniques and haxes: trash talking, feet kamehameha, turning giant, manipulation, homing missile energy balls, play dead, etc.
At the end, both Goku's legs and arms were broken, lung punctured, and Piccolo was literally an inch from the grave. That was BRUTAL!

I love how accurate and lore friendly this is to both characters, it highlights their personality and their actions based on those personal traits, Goku's ability to adapt to his opponent in mear seconds and find and exploit weaknesses, Superman's high morality and always holding back, which would be a more realistic encounter between these two characters who are highly driven because of their personality and not just their power. Excellent. Still one of the best animations on UA-cam.

As a Superman fan, even i can appreciate how this was done. Goku using strategy rather than just trying to overpower Superman, and Superman not holding back because of the threat Goku was to the whole universe. However because Goku entrusted Shenron to reset everything back to the way they were BEFORE the fight, there was no need to hold back. Goku allowed himself to go completely all out: ascending with each super saiyan transformation, absorbing Ki from every planet in the universe, blowing up the Sun, using ki, god ki, kaio ken, and his own life force as energy to blast Superman. This is how Goku vs. Superman was suppose to be, and even though Wiz and Boomstick did try their hardest with all the research, they still overestimated Superman while underestimating Goku.
Goku may not be brilliant, but he is instinct prone and as he ascends with each transformation, his instincts become sharpened. Goku may have limits, but that still doesn't stop him from trying to go further beyond.
As he have said, "Everything has a limit." But he has also proven that limits can be broken.

I also love how these fights have some logical story to them, other than "hi Supes, I want to fight" or "You slightly annoyed me by being in my general vicinity, I will fight you to the death even though I wouldn't even kill my worst enemies." (like Death Battle). Also, from Superman's perspective, this must be scary. Some guy comes out of nowhere, attacks him, increases his own power through endless transformations, and blows up the sun. Nice animation, definitely more creative then Screw Attacks with the premise of it being an all-out fight with no consequences. But even still, I've got a few problems with some of its premises.
1. I don't think Goku would blow up the son. We're talking about the guy who gave Cell a senzu bean in order to ensure a fair fight between Cell and his son. Goku always looks to beat his adversary outright. The only time he doesn't do this is when he fights Buu and Omega Shenron, obviously drawing from others' power for a Spirit Bomb in order defeat these foes, but they are threats to the entire universe. I hardly think Goku would go to that extreme in a "spar" (your word, not mine) against Superman, someone as noble as Goku himself.
2. I love me some Goku, but the idea that he could survive a Superflare is also pretty ludicrous. Even post Dragon Ball Super, Freiza's destruction of planet Earth was enough to kill Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. Superflare is literally a Supernova. That's several thousand times more destructive than a planet blowing up. You can't justify Goku surviving it to the face.
3. I'm also questioning the end, drawing from his own life energy? Can anyone tell me the instance where Goku has been shown to be able to do this? Does it justify the power boost shown at the end of the animation here? I don't think so.
I'm a lifelong fan of both characters, but unfortunately Superman does things that even Godly Goku hasn't even come close to.

No other opponent of his has drawn power from an external source, so why would he just out of nowhere assume that Superman it, instead of just believing that it's his own power that he's gradually revealing?

+captainshiv Hi! About number three, throughout the entire Dragonball franchise, we've seen plenty of characters sacrificing their life force in order to draw out more impact than they are usually seen capable of.
We've seen Tien do it against Cell, we've seen Chiaotzu sacrificing his life force completely in an attempt to erase Nappa, we've seen Majin Vegeta pulling off the same trick against Majin Buu, and ultimately, we've seen SSJ4 Goku about to do it when facing Omega Shenron, in fact, his exact words to Omega Shenron were "Not until I show you a technique that my friend Vegeta used against Majin Buu",
meaning that Goku can in-fact sacrifice his life force to increase the impact of his attacks as a last resort, it's just that we never got to see anyone do it in the variation shown here. So with all of the above said, why wouldn't Goku be able to pull it off?
+DarthSka Goku is shown borrowing the sun's energy countless times in order to perform a Spirit Bomb, and not only that, he has thrown plenty of enemies towards the sun as well, meaning that he is quite familiar with the ki radiating from the sun itself. With that said, Goku can quite easily sense the sun's ki, and furthermore, since he borrowed the sun's energy a lot of times himself, Goku might as well be able to infer when someone else is also doing the exact same thing.

i'm not saying this video is completely accurate in regards to both characters, but i'm just responding to your points.
1- given the stakes here, goku knows shenron will be able to undo the damage once the fight is over, plus... fair fight? superman doesn't have his own powers, he just borrows it from the sun. like you said, goku only borrowed power from others to be able to destroy universal threats... in goku's eyes, superman isn't fair because he doesn't work on developing his own abilities, and only gets them from leeching off of the sun, to make it fair, he'd blow up the sun.
2- vegeta dies of the earth's explosion because of a lack of oxygen, not because of the explosion itself. if the force of an exploding earth was enough to kill SSGSS Vegeta, then why would gohan need to generate power stronger than cell's solar-system-buster kamehameha to defeat cell? he could just generate a power equal to saiyan saga vegeta's galick gun, which vegeta claimed to be able to destroy the planet... if not that, then first form frieza's supernova power that blew up planet vegeta (which is theoretically up to 10 times larger than earth)
so now remember that super perfect cell required a solar-system buster attack to obliterate every single cell of his body... now look at goku in the battle of gods and resurrection F arcs. when he puts his guard down, a simple laser can penetrate him, but when he flares up his ki to protect himself and boost his attacks, he can withstand attacks that can blow up the solar system easily (power difference between SSGSS Goku and S. Perfect Cell is very very very huge... 100% sure cell can't put a dent in goku even if he uses 100% of his power into one blast). so in regards to goku's durability, he could withstand a supernova and more, the only thing that would kill him is lack of oxygen to support his body functions (although it's been shown multiple times that saiyans can survive without an atmosphere around them for a while, bardock against frieza and goku against beerus)
3- almost every z-fighter has drawn on his own life energy to beat a foe: chaotzu against nappa, tien against nappa and 2nd form cell (notice how tien's abysmal power level compared to cell would mean cell could wipe him out, yet drawing on his life force he could keep cell at bay at a level almost equal to super vegeta's attacks), vegeta uses every single bit of his life force in a contained explosion to wipe out buu into atoms...etc. there's no reason goku wouldn't use his life force in a dire situation.
as for your last statement, i am the same, a fan of both, but one has to admit that god goku's powers are extremely underestimated... his fight with beerus, could have literally tore apart the universe they were in. old kai says 3 collisions could do that, goku and beerus collide twice and the 3rd time goku adapts to the fight and angles his fist so that the forces cancel out and don't spread momentum and turn the ripples that spread out through the whole universe to turn into tears in the fabric of reality.... here we have a perfect gauge of goku's power.
beerus = 10
goku = 6
power needed to destroy the whole universe = 3 collisions between those 2. which would equal 16*3... factor in A LOT of power that cancels out between their fists, so the power that is needed to destroy the universe would be only whatever momentum is expelled from the collision outwards and not towards the two fighters' fists... so lets say times 2 and not 3
16*2 = 32
6/32 = 18.75%
that means that with his full power in his god form, he could wipe out almost a fifth of the universe in one blast... i haven't seen anything from superman that can come even CLOSE to doing that XD
+DarthSka Temember that saiyans are born with tails and they in fact do use the moon as the source of their ape power. If you remembee, Piccolo did destroy the moon to take away Vegeta's power from him before the moon could do it's effect on him. Since Goku is a saiyan and he has fought other saiyans trying to do that method on him and his friends, it's safe to say that he could figure it out rather quickly.
