True Presence Now Among Us [Official Sheet Music] [OCP Choral Review]

This newly composed hymn tune and text was awarded Winner of the 2023 Archdiocese of Detroit Hymn and Song Composition Contest in support of the National Eucharistic Revival. It masterfully integrates an approachable melody with a setting for SAB choir and descant with a score for keyboard, guitar, flute, and assembly. The original hymn text is based on the imagery of St. Thomas Aquinas’ Pange Lingua Gloriosi and captures the importance of Mass as both a banquet and sacrifice.
This song was featured in Choral Packet 109, the Spring 2024 edition of the OCP Choral Review Service, with titles for Lent, Easter and Pentecost usage.
