How to Defrost a FROZEN Turkey FAST! also Best Way to Thaw Turkey & Season it.

I used to cook around 40 turkeys every Thanksgiving but now i just have to cook one for my family. The best way to thaw a turkey is slowly over a few day 5 to 7 days but if you need the turkey fast you can defrost a turkey in a sink with running cold water over the top may take 1hr - 3hrs or more depending on size but still faster than leaving it in a refrigerator. A turkey in a sink with cold water running over it will comply with serve safe. Only difference, you will need to cook the turkey right away if you defrost it using the running water method.

this marinade for the turkey was outstanding cooking 8 lbs turkey breast 350 degrees for 1 hour than turn the oven down to 300 for 1 hour. then check once turkey hits 165 pull turkey and let rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
