Loved this episode! Some incredible shots & scenery there. The storytelling is improving with each episode - kudos to Leah. Editing on the road can’t be easy. Top efforts and you’ve got a great soothing voice narrating it. Keep up the awesome adventures! Matt C
Cheers Matt! As you know, our plan is to keep improving with the each one! Editing on the road is a challenge for sure, especially from a time perspective but we just do the best we can while balancing everything else! 🙃
@@joehannaby5225 Cheers Joe! This is a little different to the others but we hope people will enjoy it just the same! We’re glad to hear that you did. 🙏 It covers an important subject and potential way forward for us all as well as more epic scenery in Turkey! 🇹🇷
A few tense moments after I read the title, thought for a moment your journey had ended. So pleased you guys are still going overland. I don’t watch a lot on telly, but I would seriously miss your updates. Happy trails 💪🚙
Just a slight pause over Winter to pursue a little dream we have in the pipeline. This still allowed us to be out in nature and also have food covered as part of the deal and so it was a win win for us all! 😊 It’s good to try these things out before making any big commitments.
absolutely. I would probably put this type of farming in a similar category to Overlanding. Idyllic in concept, but a considerable effort at times in reality.
@@projectwildearth well I reckon you folks would chuckle at things that would destroy a lessor duo so I’ve no doubt if you chose to do it, it would happen, just as your current adventure has. Meanwhile my 4am shift workers alarm clock is set and so I bid you all goodnight. My more modest adventure to work looms 😅
Stone road wasn’t that bad in the end compared to many of the roads around the world. There’s a few narrow bits, it’s not ideal for turning around or reversing with a trailer and it could definitely go wrong if you’re not concentrating but all in all, it’s fine. As for advertising the Grenadier, for sure, it’s a great spot and quite different to most other places around the world!
I have lived in the mountains most of my life and driven some crazy roads ! These roads gave me anxiety just watching you. The farming was amazing and is giving me ideas I have long dreamed of
It's not our intention to give you anxiety but if you keep watching, you'll see the roads become more and more interesting as the journey continues... 😉 As for the farming, we're glad you enjoyed this one as it's a little different. Definitely dig into permaculture, maybe even take a course or two. There's so much to learn and endless possibilities! We've no doubt it will become a big part of our future as we start to finalise plans!
@@ffkoffie We’d like to sometimes but it depends on the footage we have. We also don’t want to bore people and so try and focus on quality over quantity. 😊 We’re always listening and trying to improve though and so if we get a lot of people asking for longer videos, we can consider it. Ultimately we do the best we can with the footage we have while balancing two young kids on the road.
