he's special and people only overlooked him because of consecutive 1st rd exits by the Clippers. Pushing Kawhi to 7 games at 22 years old last year is extremely far from an easy feat.

Luka beat the healthy Suns (with a trio of CP3-Booker-Ayton, and with CP3 almost nonexistent in potential close-out games throughout his career) without an All-Star teammate, and his will to win is at another level right now. Luka has tasted the EuroLeague title and MVP already, he’s hungry to win the NBA title this year. In his mind, he won’t wait another year, and we could possibly see that drive that Giannis possessed last year in him.

It was one of the greatest things I've seen. Go Mavs!! This Mavs vs. Warriors series should be fire. At the beginning of the playoffs, I picked the Warriors to win it all, but Luka's injury changed everything about this team. If you look at his first game back, the Mavs played horrible, Luka-only ball....and the subsequent games have been better and better with at least one or two guys shooting well and the team going with the hot hands. And the D has been killer. Beware, beware.
