    Definitely upgrade from the GR-1000XL im running. 100ton. The touch screen in yurs. Override switch still press and hole to use? Use it when getting ready to load up on low bow. The A-B kicks out under 4' of boom angle.
    Do you have a grove split screen tutorial? Grove brought 1 out for a couple days to demonstrate while i was on vacation. You can never be 2 informed. I haven't ran a grove in about 8yrs.

    I got in one yesterday after running tower for 10 years and just wanted to be sure about running out the other boom sections.
    Thank you.

    Are all tadano levers and not joysticks?

    To turn off a winch you turn it off through the computer?

      I ran 90T tadano and it does not have a winch lockout , just for swing

      That's what is nice about Grove and link belt. You can shut off a given winch so ya don't suck it up by accident.

    I’m getting a state 2 not applied on mine, what code is that?

    • @MrJeffharper47
      @MrJeffharper47  День тому +2

      @@ApexAlex97 you need to set the counterweight position. I explain it early in the video

    • @MrJeffharper47
      @MrJeffharper47  День тому +1

      @@ApexAlex97 “state 2” is referring to the outrigger status you have set in the computer.
      Basically the computer is recognizing something is “wrong“ because you have the computer thinking you’re on the outriggers but you actually have the outriggers sucked in.
      For instance, if you have the out rigger set up and you try to suck everything in it *should* Start sounding the buzzer because it detects a change. Granted, sometimes it automatically changes the state of the outriggers and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes I can suck everything in and start traveling without having to touch the computer, and sometimes I have to manually tell it otherwise.

      @@MrJeffharper47 got it thank you very much! Also one final thing, on my chart here on the computer, it’s marking its weight in decimals such as klbs 21.8 and max klbs is 41.9 is that just a multiplication of what those numbers are by 10?

    • @MrJeffharper47
      @MrJeffharper47  День тому +2

      @@ApexAlex97 no, that’s multiplying it by 1000lbs. So 21.8 Klbs = 21,800 lbs

    Is the computer on an 80ton the same

    • @MrJeffharper47
      @MrJeffharper47  4 місяці тому

      If it’s the newer “XLL-4” it should be basically identical.
      The older generation Tadano’s are a little different as they use a different computer etc.

      Hey brother so I got the jib erected. I’m only able to throw out 135.8 (not a true 136) how would I be able to run everything else out? Do I need to switch booms mods to run the first section out? Dont necessarily need it, but it’s that what if question

      @@raulrocha1410 there’s a button on the “boom telescope lever.” when you’re scoping the boom out, once it gets to 130 or so feet it will stop until you press that button. Once you press that button the boom will continue to scope out.

    i can't believe all the you tube operators we have now i fault social media and cco from going from non profit to profit even though they say they are non profit there's way too many operators now something going on went from best kept secrete to this new generation.
