    Hey cat daddy, as a crane operator of nearly 25 years and a current CCO instructor at a crane school, I enjoyed this video. Overall it was very informative. I plan to let my students know about your channel so they can get more information. However there where a few things you said that I either disagreed with or I just do differently. That said, I appreciate the effort you put into this video. It's definitely going to help some people.

    This was by far the baddest vid I’ve seen on cranes. Really enjoyed it I’m a currently a rigger and looking for some seat time before getting my nccco. Or maybe I’ll get my nccco and continue being a rigger and hop on here and there whenever there’s a chance 💯

    Thanks man, this helps. Switched to Tower crane 10+ years ago, but heading out on a 100T juice rig like yours. I ran RT’s for years and years before, but this’ll give me a head start when I get to this one. .
    (Maybe Tadano’s are different, but I always travel with the swing brake off and just the house lock engaged. I’ll have to look that up)
    Thanks and great video, brother.

    You don't have to hit that switch to keep scoping. You can do it with the pedal the whole time. When you max out heavy boom you just hit that button.

    What if you don’t need the main boom. Doesn’t it run all the sections out same time at the length you want ? Or do you need to hold that button down to run all sections either way

    • @badboycranes361
      @badboycranes361  10 місяців тому

      There 2 modes if you put it on B mode then the main section comes out and you would have to press the button for the rest of the sections. So choose the other mode and you won’t have to press the button

    What boom angle do you level these rt cranes. Does it matter when jib is erected. In some rts. It just states a level ground on other rt brands

    • @badboycranes361
      @badboycranes361  Рік тому

      It’s safe to be at least between 30 to 40 degree angle and scoped in with no cab tilt to make sure you have maximum level
