@@TheChessGiant is castling good against the traxler? i know what the traxler is, i learnt all of the opening but i didnt know anything against it, currently in a daily game.
I could not agree more. It just depends on who you are playing I suppose. If you're in a tournament against someone rated much lower, the Traxler might not be the best because they might know the draw line. The decision then is up to the player. However, against someone higher, there's really nothing to lose.
5.Bxf7+ Ke7 6.Bc4! is more or less a refutation. Nothing that Black has tried seems to work against this (6.Bb3 and 6.Bd5 are more common but less clear).
I personally would love to play this but I don't like to play e5 I find this is the only opening I could beat a titled player with because it is the strongest counter attack
Totally makes sense. I don't like playing e5 either, only this line. The Elephant Gambit can be fun at times but not super reliable against top tier competition.
You definitely wouldn’t be able to beat a titles player with this. They would just play Bxf7 and Bb3. You might be able to defeat a player of similar strength with this maybe
Hey Sahil, finally got around to this! It is from the white perspective and includes the best lines from black. Here is the link just in case you are still interested. ua-cam.com/video/5UfMTaMzPaQ/v-deo.html
That's awesome Andrew! Chess is a fun game that nobody will ever completely master, there's always more to learn. Let me know if there's any content you'd be interested in seeing!
Hey The Chess Giant, I have a study on the Traxler on Lichess which is currently 54 chapters long, would it be ok to post your video in the chatbox so people can hear another voice explaining everything
@@TheChessGiant I posted your video in the comments, if you ever wanted to make a video on more of the bad moves you are more than welcome to use the study.
This is the most thorough treatment of the Traxler that I've seen yet.
Thanks Larry! I am glad you enjoyed it and got something out of it!
Man !!…King doesn’t take bishop.instead e2.? Did I miss the line ?
Could you send me a timestamp so I know exactly where you're talking about? Thanks!
Brillante contraataque traxler!.gracias the chees...Saludos.
Gracias y Saludos Enrique
I love the traxler. Talented newer players love to go for the fried liver and fall into it all the time.
That's facts Josh! A very dangerous chess opening that even many Fried Liver Attack players don't often prepare for.

This is stronger than the fried liver and the lolli attack but it is burdened by the forced draw line

ohhhhhh man
that was a DEEP DIVE into the Traxler with A LOT of info in just 20 minutes !
Thank you John! I appreciate that compliment as that's exactly what we were aiming to do! I want to teach people a ton without wasting their time!

Love your description sir
Thank you! Glad to help! (Also good on you for looking into the Traxler Counter-Attack! Absolute madness in the opening!)
Hey Chess giant can you make a video on the trompowsky attack and how to play against it . Anyways great content as always 👍.
Of course! Thanks for reminding me to get this done! I've been wanting to make a Trompowsky Attack video for awhile now.

@@TheChessGiant oh yeah thank you so much .
Nice video, great content as usual. Learned chess 50 years ago and the Internet has rekindled interest and - hey - I'm still learning.

i dont recommend the traxler because someone can study the whole computer line but against a none master human it will work
I had requested this. Thanks a lot Solomon!
Yes you had! And thank you for the recommendation keep them coming!
Excellent. The best exposition of various variations of Traxler. Thanq.
Thank you Shashi, glad you enjoyed it!
The most meaningful and sensible video on internet considering Traxler counter attack..!!
If they play d3 or d4 instead of Ng5 you won’t be able to get your traxler
That’s correct! It’s a response for black against and only against the Fried Liver Attack! 🙌🏽
Hey Solomon, great video! Could you do a video on the Portuguese Gambit? Keep up the good work!
Thanks! And totally! Just added the Portugese Gambit to my list of chess opening videos I want to make!
Solomon, could you please do something on the Ritchter-Veresov attack? There isn't much on UA-cam.
I've never heard of that but I'll add it to the list Scott! Anything with "attack" in it is always fun.
@@TheChessGiant Awesome 👍 It is a good one
Nice✨✨
