I want to say I enjoy all your videos. This new idea of answering questions is a great!
I'm not a knife maker, but I love watching the forging process. I'm going to make a coal forge out of a semi-truck brake drum to see if I can learn to make knives for myself. Thank you for your desire to make knives and sparking my desire!

My first experience in forging a blade was just three days ago at a friend's shop and I only used hammers and an anvil, he doesn't have a power hammer. So, much to my surprise, my arms weren't actually that sore the next day. I still haven't finished it but I got my bevels forged in evenly and it looks great so far.👍

What is your favorite tools to use for making blades?...tongs, hammers, anvils, and other tools to the trade. I'm wondering specifically which tools you use, the type of tongs, size of tong, weight of hammer, etc.
Also, I just found your channel today and which it for probably three hours. It's very informative and entertaining. I'm also from east Tennessee, Athens, TN.

Hey Jason, hi neighbor I'm from Cleveland Tennessee. Really nice channel and videos 👍. Your knives are outstanding. Why so big of knives? What do you thoughts on folding or cutting for Damascus and what do you think about those forging like you do, then those that stop removal or removing material by grinding or cutting out??You know can't carry them around with you EDC.( What about making folding knives to put in your pocket for everyday?) Can you teach us that? I would get arrested or harassed by the law enforcement and scary body at T.J. Maxx? So, what would you say to someone that's eager about blacksmithing and making nice that does not have a workshop or a garage only a carport maybe 24x18( in the cold weather) but still wants to make knives? And on disability.( Help with a garage or confine space?)
What do you think about stock removal and what you do by foraging the steel into knives? Do you forge everyday?
I really like the way you teach and explain on your channel and videos?
Thanks again and I will be watching you much as I can?
P.S. would be cool if you had ruler or measuring tape on your design on your ankle to determine the length of your knves? JS, keep up the good work.
P.S.S. How did you feel when you got your master bladesmith/ masters, (the next day). Did allow you up charge everything?

Something bugging you? We apologize, we do transmit telepathically. Forget everyone else for now. A Fairbairn Sykes knife San Mai style, so the outside is M390, CPM S110V, or Wolitz off that, but an internal core to deter breakage. It's a fine point, which if chain link were worn, it needs to be cut through without breaking. Imagine a huge muscular Russian like the one that grabbed Rambo and held him in the air. Then this big Russian is using this new knife proof vest Israel has came up with and do not forget, Israelites were initially from Russia. You need that knife to penetrate and cut. Then, if he's not wearing this, you need this to quickly penetrate and slice as the knife is punched. I figured I'd write it out rather than using telekinesis.
