- I have been loving twistouts on my natural hair lately. They come out perfect every time! And I had to share this with you guys how I get a perfect twistout with no frizz and no puffy roots! Enjoy!

What do you mean by pineapple it out when you take a shower?
Like flip your head over and tie a scarf around it so all your curls are on the top of your head. Then put a bonnet on!

Just a tip, to eliminate puffy roots without braiding the roots. Twist the hair without moving down until you feel the hair is taut, almost like it's going to twist on itself. Then move down and twist the same way. Hope that made sense. I got this tip from Naptural85 and it made a big difference to my mini twists. No puffy roots.

Your twist out is GORGEOUS!!!!! Truthfully, you didn't even need to untwist. You could've left your hair in the twists and you'd look just as beautiful!

Hey Nicolelise! I am sooooooo glad that you did this video. It may seem like we don't need yet another twist out video, but apparently we DO because this is, hands-down, the BEST twist out that I have EVER SEEN. I rarely do twist outs on my hair because I never like the results, but I for sure will try your technique and see what I come out with. Fingers crossed that I get similar results. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!

This looks gorgeous. I guess for those who don’t have as much time and have to wash their hair every week. 8 flat twists will provide your quite similar results! That’s worked for me.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! In every stage it was beautiful. It looked good with the twists and when you took them out and even when you took them out a little bit more. So you have three hairstyles that you can rock!

Thank you, Nicolelise 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 that was one of the best twistout, tutorials that I’ve seen in years. Yes, it was very detailed and looked very easy as you stated in your description box. I love how you explained why you do what you do so we don’t think to skip that part. What I thought was ingenious, and should’ve been a no-brainer to me, was to braid your hair at the root that makes so much sense. I always wondered why my twistouts didn’t come out the way I expected it to, thanks for that valuable yet simple tip🤩 I was so into it that I went and changed to watch it on my iPad instead of my phone so I could see it clearly😆. Next time I’m gonna watch it on my Mac computer.😁 From what I’ve understood with the Doux Mousse it’s suggested that we use the product by itself but I see that it doesn’t even matter it will not make your hair look bad if you do, you debunked that theory for me 😅. I kinda found it strange that It was suggested not to use another product, when I need a little bit more weight in my hair. I’m sooo glad I read the instructions in the description box, otherwise I would’ve skipped the part where you forgot to mention in your video that you used “Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner” whew 😅 Do you twist your hair in different levels like bottom first middle and then top(stacked) ‘cause that’s how it looked very structured 🤔does it matter. I’m going to subscribe to you now girl😉💞💗🩵

This is my absolute favorite twistout tutorial. I had never thought of braiding the root of my twists until I watched your video. After trying this method, I've accomplished the very best twistout that I've ever experienced in my life. I wish I could post pics in the comment section. Thanks to you for your advice. I was doing twist outs before Covid. Jumped into wigs and quick weaves and haven’t shown my beautiful natural hair since b/c I’ve become lazy. Every single day, all day someone complimented my twist-outs.
I haven't been wearing my hair ether since Covid, other than mini twists. Since I've been lazy, I have turned it into a hair growth journey :)

The braiding at the roots is a good tip. I have 4C hair and it’s literally where my hair begin to unravel first. So frustrating after hours of twisting my hair! I’ll use this on my next wash & twist day.
I have 4b tapered cut. It's the absolute worst when you do every technique right and it still comes out wrong. I suffer from dryness so I'm going to try this method next time

This video was right on time. Tried a wash and go that ended in disaster, lol! Re-washed and incorporated your tip of braiding 2x technique. Haven't taken out yet, but will see. 🤞🏽
Be-au-ti-ful! I have to master taking time and twisting the same size in the back of my hair. I try to save time & finish & it costs. Definitely will use the tip of alternating the direction of the twists throughout my head. Your hair looks so full & shinny with a nice curl. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, this is my first time watching your tutorial. I was very impressed with how you explained the way you get definition in your twists. They are beautiful. Do you have any tips on what I can do to help maintain moisture to thick coarse hair?

This is so pretty! I agree pinappling throws it off I love my hair loose and having bed head big and fluffy. I’ve been doing braid outs but with this technique I will try twist outs!
