Thanks for posting this - being that they didn’t.
@@Gonzo.S.Thompson Just Empty Every Pocket
UrRetardedAsABanana for the addition of these add ons, it makes more sense to just go for the base rubicon.
$6K is not budget!!!
Thick!!!
Would’ve been nice to include the price of the parts in the video seeing as it was a “budget” build
Sorry for not including those guys in the video, but all current prices can by clicking the links in our description. Thanks for watching! 😁 -Zach
That's why you ALWAYS read video descriptions
ExtremeTerrain.com I gotta click and add all those together? What is this? A homework assignment? Should I quit my job? It’d be REALLY cool to put a graphic at the end that lists them all real fast and then shows the total with a “cha-Ching” sound effect.
@@adamsangry Exactly what I was thinking!
@@adamsangry I agree brother!
She is OUTRAGIOUS! those hips!!!!!!!
Nice simple build as I've recently purchased a JL and my build has started, recently ordered a Barricade Trail Force Front bumper and a Smittybilt Gen2 X20 10000lb winch w/synthetic rope. So after a few months running these I'll need a rear bumper still looking and researching that one. However I'm not one for the soft top prefer the freedom top for some reason. Thanks
I am shocked, bamboozled, and awestruck...lmao she’s a gorgeous mechanic
Awesome !!! Merideth, thanks for explaining your reasons for choosing the parts in this build. I can't wait to buy myself a Jeep
When you get one, you know where to come!! Thanks for watching! -Zach
All I want is a Jeep Wrangler with lift kit, big tires and sweet bumper.... she just made my dream wrangler
i know, right? I have a Jeep exactly like this--in the BEFORE pics.
This is exactly what I was looking for thank you and great video.
Thanks for watching, Nicco! -Zach
Looks awesome! First things i did to my sport jeep was lights front and rear, mopar grab handles and mats and rear cargo mats. Im looking to go next level soon and im barely about a month into ownership 🤣 need to edit alot of content for my channel lol
Great ideas! It is so awesome seeing another female turning wrenches!!!
I like it. That’s a lot of wheel well though. I would have went with 285/75/17 tires
I loved it ! I need all these mods! I specially liked the side armor with step pads
This is one of my favorite JL builds so far! Thanks for watching! -Zach
That was awesome. I would love to see this build on a more aggressive 35" tire. Love it.
Subscribe and stay tuned! We have a lot more planned! -Zach

That cracked me up--fresh mani on fake nails and working on the Jeep. Hah!

Sweet build
KOOL VIDEO...MY FIRST TIME VISITING YOUR CHANNEL. I PLAN ON GETTING A GLADIATOR SOON.
Beautiful Jeep, beautiful talented woman, great details. Awesome job team.👍🏾
Thanks for this.
Thank YOU for watching, Stew! -Zach
with the molar 2" lift kit and a 33 inch tires, what's the overall height of the JL????
Premier Soft Top is warmer in the Winter than Hard Top. Fyi
I like seeing jeeps like this that most people could afford and not those bling up fully loaded Rubicons that cost over 50k. I had a sport two door 2012 and it was a blast. All you need is a proper set of good tires, basic skills and you will go places no other vehicle can go. All crossovers would not keep up with sport jeep Jl and even most trucks even at 4x4 would trail behind.
You're absolutely right, David! Are Rubicons nice and would I love to have one? Hell yes. 😂 But I have a 2018 JL Sport (mines a two-door, too!) and it can absolutely do more than any of those "off-road oriented" crossovers, and can keep up with Rubicon models on trails up until lockers are needed. We just put out another video on a two-door JL that you can find at the following link if you want to check it out! -Zach ua-cam.com/video/oi5--wjE1Po/v-deo.html
this was a great build up!
Thanks for watching! -Zach
Love the wheels, might have to hop on those
Thanks for watching! -Zach
Now what if you wanted the whole top open as well? Does that just fold back or do you have to take it completely off
Wow she is a beauty, oh yeah the jeep is cool
yeah I'll take both of them
What did the caster end up being after you did the front alignment.
Very well done. Great presentation
Thanks for watching, Scott! We appreciate it! -Zach
Looks so much better than stock but I can’t deal with the color lol
Just purchased a 2021 Nacho JL 4 door. I'd love to purchase this exact setup and have them install them and know it's done correctly. My JL came with 33 inch tires, but everything else would look awesome. Can anyone recommend a good shop in Delaware.
Nice
nice.
very nice
So, if parts come to about $5800, what would your shop charge to install? Looking for an approx out the door price. Thank you, keep up the great content.
Probability some bigger tires and some different wheels
What about the rear locking diff?
Does the Mopar lift keep all the same ride feel/geometry?
I wasn’t going to add the side rails, but you make a good point about people opening their doors into your Jeep.
My dads Jeep has been saved many times by his side rails! Instead of getting door dings, his Jeep GIVES them! Thanks for watching, Joe! -Zach
You mean like at the,,, MALL. LOL
How many kg/ pounds can the hings on the extra weight of the tire withstand before it is out of position?Tnx for educational video.L&R 🇳🇴
Just bought a 98 tj and it’s already lifted on 33 everything works but my next move is painting it mojito green
Mojito is absolutely a sick color! Hope the TJ works out well for you! Thanks for watching! -Zach
Great Vid, doing it on a budget is my kind a build, I have ordered a Mojito Rubicon, it will be delivered in September. I also have chose the same step/rails. once again, great Vid. Thanks.
Love that Mojito Green! Hope you enjoy the Rubicon once delivered and thanks for watching! -Zach
What about building a more overlanding oriented rig (no big tires and stuff like that)
Very nice 👌👌👌👌👌
Great vid. Is this stuff available in Australia?
Awesome video. What does the customer do with all the brand new parts removed to install these mods? Do you guys buy it off the customer?
I have a 2021JL Wrangler I looked all over for a front and rear tubular bumper that’s chrome any ideas where I can look or find them? Thank you
Wider tires is all I would change
With the two inch lift we installed you could easily fit some 35s under there with no problems! We just stuck with 285s since this is a daily driver, and that size tends to run a cheaper price-wise. Thanks for watching! -Zach
I like the rear bumper. Would add a bumper mounted tired carrier next.
If you plan on going up to 35s instead of 33s, definitely! Thanks for watching, Wade! -Zach
I love you this is just what I needed...I’m not much of an off-roader but I like the look...I have been saving ur videos one by one that cover the mods I like but this vid basically hit the nail on the head only thing missing is audio upgrade.. great content again 👍🏿
Thanks for the love, Garry! This kind of setup is really perfect for a daily driver that doesn't want anything crazy. -Zach
Needs 35s; those tires are undersized with that lift. Only way you do 33s on a JL is stock or w/ a leveling kit.
All comes down to personal preference! I see this Jeep every day and it still looks great! Nothing wrong with getting 33s to save some money on rubber and gas. 😁 -Zach
Is there a budget video for the JK?
I would keep the hardtop. All the other stuff looks good but it also looks like low quality. I bet that stuff will bend on the first rock it meets.
RedRock 4x4 stuff is known to be solid, as is Rugged Ridge. From what I've seen they rust easier over time, but for the money it's really good. Also top choice is all personal, I only got the soft top. It's quieter on road with the new style, insulates better in winter, and I can go naked (or at least topless) whenever I want.
Yall need to Gladiator to use in your videos? I will leave my jeep with you. Gladiator build sounds great.
I wish Jeep would offer every JL color option for the Gladiator. It even shares the exact same front end yet I can't get a mojito truck
I feel you! Although Jeep is planning on releasing a color called Gator Green specifically for the Gladiator and I'm so jealous. -Zach
That Mopar lift kit imho is a bit expensive for what it is. I just went with a Rough Country spacer lift w/ N3 shock for $300. I'm waiting to spend about $3500-$4000 for a proper suspension upgrade when I do my axles. Kept stock black wheels, 285/70r17 Milestar Patagonia M/T tires (about 33" and super quiet on road and great off road). Bumpers will be Westin WJ2 stubby w/light bar front and full WJ2 rear (w/o tire carrier). Yes the bumpers are expensive but I love the jack points on them. Rock rails I'll probably go with the N-Fab Rkr rails, cheap but good. Eventually will get MetalCloak Fenders and rock rails. I do like this build for a weekend warrior style build, minus the suspension choice. It makes sense, I just hate how expensive it is.
For all that the kit includes I think it's right about where it needs to be price-wise, if anything its a little more expensive because of the Mopar and Fox Racing names and the fact that it can be warrantied if installed at a dealership. Sounds like you got a great build plan going though! Westin, MetalCloak and N-Fab all make some killer products. Best of luck with your Jeep and thanks for watching! -Zach
@@extremeterrain Agreed I forget about the warranty since I pretty much voided mine at 1000 miles 🤣
Just gotta send it. 😂 -Zach
What is the total cost of the parts please?
Nice build! Did you need to reprogram the computer to account for larger tire size? More importantly, do you know what the mpg’s will be with the 3.45 axle ratio? Also, does that hitch have wiring to pull a trailer? Is the stinger on front real (can it protect the Jeep if it rolls forward on a downslope)?
You should always reprogram the computer to adjust for tire size. The factory Sport tires are 31.5, so going to a 33 is not a huge difference, but for optimum performance of the transmission/speedometer it's pretty simple to do. You can use a Tazer, HP Tuners, or any of a variety of other programmers. Turning larger, heavier tires and not adjusting gearing will cost you some MPG, but probably not more than 1-2 overall.
🔥🔥🔥✌️
What about the back shocks being upside down won't the slaves gather a lot of dirt and dust Factory ones are the other way to repel dirt
Very nice videos. I am planning to buy ny first jeep ever soon. I was debating myself between the unlimited sport and the unlimited willys (basic one). Do you recommend to get the v6 or 4i still thinking on this as well chhers
Thank you for watching, Hugo! Both engines are great options, honestly. You'll see better fuel mileage out of the 2.0L when using 91 octane fuel, but you'll get a better exhaust note and linear power delivery when driving the 3.6L V6. Both engine options drive a little bit differently, so I highly recommend you test driving both of them to see which you like best. -Zach
Great video! If I went with a 2.5" lift (no Rubi fenders), would I be able to fit 35s? Same purpose as this video; daily driver + weekend warrior, so not much (if any) crawling
Absolutely! 2 or 2.5" of lift will fit 35s without any issues and won't be too high for daily driving. When you decide to take it off-road, you'll have a really solid platform for light and moderate trails. -Zach
Thats what I run on mine, 2.5” with 35” KM3’s.
@Dominic Martin how about gearing? Need to regear to run 35?
Can you guys do one for the two door would be great for those that can’t afford the 4 door
We'll be giving the two-door guys some love soon, I promise. 😁 -Zach
She cuteeeee 😀
Beautiful build but I would of liked to see the 35 inch with that lift. Tires look way to small for the lift haha but love the build! :)
I've seen the build in person and it looks pretty proportionate honestly! The space for larger tires is definitely there but for a daily driver looking to save a little gas money I think it's a solid setup. -Zach
Great content. I’m thinking about getting my Jeep and currently living in Maine. How well do the soft tops handle snow? Wondering if a hard top is a requirement. Thanks.
The new soft tops really hold their own in snow, honestly! If you opt for the premium option, they hold in heat just as well as the hard tops do. The only thing that you'd have to worry about it making sure too much snow doesn't pile on the top, and you also wouldn't have a rear wiper blade or defroster with the soft option. -Zach
Thank you for the reply
With the items you get with the mopar lift at that price is anything but budget lol
Should of went with the 35inch tires. 33s are to small looking. Other than that, looks great till the Broncos come out.
All comes down to personal preference! I've seen this Wrangler a bunch of times in person here at XT and the 33s fit it fine! You absolutely have the room for 35s though! -Zach
Do you find it necessary to add the bigger brake kit to a Sport model when adding larger tires ?
If you're sticking with 33s or 35s I honestly wouldn't worry about it too much. If anything you can always replace your brake pads and rotors for something more performance oriented like PowerStops Truck & Tow line of brakes. If you're going up to 35s or 37s and have the money a big brake kit will definitely help out though! -Zach
Great build
Thanks for watching, Pat! -Zach
Extreme terrain doesn’t carry the Mopar lift anymore, what would be comparable?
Yes, this is the Mopar lift with FOX Shocks!
How do these wheels match up to a JT gladiator for regular use, high way, towing and off road? How much do they weigh ?
You really won't see a different in day-to-day usage with these compared to your stock wheels. Steel wheels tend to be a little bit heavier compared to aluminum ones, so these guys are weighing in around 39 lbs a piece. This is going to help keep your wheels a bit more planted off-road. Also the beauty of steel wheels is that if you ever bend it up off-road, you can pound it back into place with a hammer when bent aluminum wheels usually can't be salvaged. With highway and towing usage, aluminium will be a better option as they're slightly lighter. -Zach
Budget means for $1600 lift kit? I think budget would mean $300-$500.
Can I get a meridith for my garage, she's awsome!
Can you run 35 inch tires on a mopar 2 inch lift kit for a 2019 jeep sport unlimited?
You absolutely can! I'd recommend getting a set of wheel spacers to eliminate rubbing at sharp turns if you don't plan on buying aftermarket wheels though. -Zach
Can you make a presentation on Rubicon 2020, please?
Ask and you shall receive! Thanks for watching! -Zach
ua-cam.com/video/t-uZXKHmkoM/v-deo.html
I have heard a lot of opinions regarding the size of the Tire 35 "requires regear such as drive shaft .... etc. Is this correct or there is no effect ?
A lot of people have been able to make 35's work without a regear (particularly when using the 8 speed transmission). But the laws of physics are immutable-you're going to give up some performance, MPG, and component life if you don't regear to bring the ratio back to stock equivalent when running larger, heavier tires. Not doing it will be much less painful than it was in the days of 3 speed transmissions and lethargic engines-but there'll still be an impact and you have to decide if you're willing to deal with it.
Really cool upgrades. So simple, but makes it look very agresive. Would of been nice to include a round about price of the mods since the title of the video says BUDGET, but still loved to watch more videos like this. I totally subscribed and hit that notification bell :-)
Thanks for the subscriptions, Bryan! We appreciate it and the kind words! -Zach

Do you also help with the installation or just parts ?
We don't have a regular shop for customer installs, just for our builds and product videos you see here!
This is the third video I’ve seen from this company on what they consider a “budget” build. Their budget must be a different definition of what most people’s is.
nice build but is there a reason you didnt go with 35?
33s will be easier on the drivetrain in the long run and easier on the gas tank for daily driving duties! -Zach
Can you guys add the prices yo the mods as you go along.
Since prices and our inventory in general tends to fluctuate, we opt not to show active prices on video. We do however list links to all featured items in our video description if you want to check things out! Thanks for watching! -Zach
What backspacing on the wheels? Factory backspacing?
These wheels are going to have 4.5" of backspacing, with a -6 mm offset. So with a larger tire like this 285/70R17 they will poke out about an inch further than stock. -Zach
ExtremeTerrain.com 1” are you sure? My calculations of a 285/70R17 -6mm offset has the outer wall of the tire at 2.57” further out than stock? I have a JL Sahara, so similar to the sport and +18mm is calculated to push out 1.79” further than my stock tire/wheel
I don't even have a JL. but I'm only here cuz of her... JK gang
