Fantastic to have engineer explaining things. Thanks BAM.Nutall.. and they should have their own video unit doing this stuff... for historys sake alone as part of contract..
Another great video from BCM and Jack. They are doing an amazing job in such difficult circumstances. I seen the wall during a visit over the jubilee weekend and it looks fantastic, a huge feat of engineering and hard to believe that it's nearing the end of the wall. Would be good to see the railway bridge get some treatment and a coat of paint. Well done jack and team.
Once all the work has been done, & well done to Bam on a job well done so far & thanks to Jack & Beach cams man for a full monthly update of the goings on. I'm sure Dawlish will have an end of works party with the workers & residence. It would be a nice gesture if the Council would reinstall the Seaside coloured lights on those large green poles from the station to marine parade which is what they were used for back in the day. Pause for thought.
Many years ago I had a long chat with a Network Rail technician taking height measurements on Dawlish Beach using military grade GPS equipment, accurate to centimetres.
Fantastic as always thanks for your continued coverage of this development. Just out of curiosity what process do they use to ensure that no hazardous objects from the construction remain hidden in the sand after the beach is reopened to the public ?
Another Grant Report on what's going on with Our New Wall. Please a hope there are going to be lots of new seating on that section. More then they might have designed for would be nice.
I think the spread of the work you are doing is amazing to build a wall as long as that in such a short time is brilliant
What a great job you are doing hats off under such difficult circumstances.
Great video. Thank you! Don't live in Dawlish anymore so these updates are great.

It was great to see you being filmed while doing your filming and walk round! Brilliant work all round!

Why are there no R-pins in the clamps for pipeline for concrete pump 😏
How many times did the word basicly get used? Basicly, I lost count.

They have an excavator bucket that works like a big sieve
All will be removed.
Is it possible to walk the coastal wall from Dawlish Warren and get into Dawlish at this stage of the rework?.
There is a pedestrian diversion in place over the coastguards bridge into Dawlish from the wall
@@andrewreynolds4949 Thanks for the feedback Andrew I will be making that trip later today many thanks.
Let's hope it withstands the storm season, how positive are you that it won't sink and fall forwards on to the beach? As the sand is washing away.
With the size of the piles and foundations, it's not falling anywhere.
Are you aware of just how deep they are piling down??
I think it is safe to say these guys know what they are doing.
Thank god there are people like you to remind civil engineers to take storms into account...
Your saying that the fitters from Scotland are only ones that know and have the tools
I've just arrived in Dawlish for 5 days on holiday, videos dont do it justice its even more impressive in person
What about disabled access to platform 1?
They are putting in lifts plus a bridge
yep you have to wait for the chicken to lay the egg before you can make the omelette

I imagine the seawater has something to do with the breakdown.
A bit of an H&S breach there, men under the excavator only held up by hydraulic pressure and not physically supported. Schoolboy error.
Have you grassed them up yet ??
@@stevelomas4119 No, it's on their heads, literally.
Hello. Is there an email contact please? Thank you

Sound for the first 4 minutes is terrible. Can't hear what was said.
Otherwise excellent video.
Please check your speakers. They must be in stereo to hear properly.
These guy's would have done Hitlers Atlantic wall justice.
