Avacyn was my favorite MTG character. I loved her so much that I made her costume for Halloween and Cosplayed as her at a convention. All my friends knew how I avoid spoilers and prefer to be surprised at the prerelease but when I decided I wanted to dress up as Avacyn at a Midnight Pre-release they were like "someone has to tell her before she finds out by walking in and someone tells her she's dead!" I ended up running into the Anguished Unmaking art and flavor text 2 days before the prerelease and was devastated. When I heartbrokenly went to 3 different groups of friends I found out that they all knew and none of them had the heart to tell me. >_
Avacyn was the reason I even gave the color white a chance, which lead to my first red-white deck in Avacyn Restored. I even made a red-white SoI deck in honor of her this time around. R.I.P. Angel of Hope. You are and always will be my favorite legendary creature. :'(

When I was reading SOI I was hoping Sorin would manage to cleanse Avacyn of the corruption and that this would be enough to Ignight a Plansewalker spark in Avacyn she would be an Angel Plansewalker.
CrystalWing Ghirarga I'm not sure avacyn would have been able to become a planeswalker as she was created not born and I think you have to be born with a spark (Or take one from someone like Karn had from his creator)

You know some of my friends often felt that Wizards of the Cost never gave a good reasons as to why Sorin could not make another Avacyn. I told them that more then likely Sorin created his arc angle and the Helvault pre-mending, and see as he is kinda a introvert and out of touch with the going on of other planes, just assumed his drop in power was do to the incredible amount of magic needed to create them. What do you guys think?
Sorin created Avacyn and the Helavault before the Mending. That's correct. Hopefully they bring back Sorin to put Nahiri back in her place. (Though I doubt it will ever happen with the way WotC has been going.) Funnily enough, Nahiri has only ever fought Sorin when he was weakened. (First time when he was nearly completely mana exhausted, and the second time when he was emotionally devestated and handicapped by Ugin.)
An Angel that we all could learn from. A figure of hope, love, faith and honor. May her lessons live on in our hearts so that we never fall to the corruption and so we never give in to the evil that she protected us from.
Will P. I rather enjoyed the way she descended into madness and how she slowly realized her actions. It was very interesting and cool. I didn't enjoy her death very much tho.

Avacyn Restored was one of my favorite sets. I pulled Avacyn in that set and fell in love with her lore. It's funny because my friend's favorite character is Sorin and he always reminds me that he made (and now killed) my favorite angel. I will make a commander deck for her so she can live on. Thank you for these lore videos. This one and "to kill a titan" are my favorites so far.
So basically as the light of the former star that was Avacyn Angel of Hope dips below the horizon an Eldric Moon Dawns over Inistrad. This story line is quite good, and you've done a good job presenting it Seiben
That was anguishing unmaking. It leaves the plane hopeless and heading to the helvault. Enough bad attempts at puns. Great video. Loved your channel for a long time. Make me wonder if Siguarda, Brunna, and Gisella will take charge of the Angels.
Turning Avacyn into a parched angel much have left her creator feeling Sorin the chest. At least she had a funeral by pire.(pyre) Too bad she didn't listen to him, he had to wing it. Despite this, Sorin's judgement was a bit harsh. Maybe a new angle would be the best way to combat Nahiri. His old method of stonewalling her didn't seem to do much. Now he will have to deal with Emrakul appearing innistradosphere. Perhaps the old chapel have something besides Avacyn in the basement to help him fight. If things keep going on the way they have been, Jace bettarun before the stakes are too much for even Sorin to take. Then again, Sorin has proven that he can dish out extreme punishment if you are in Avacynity around him. Trust me, Sorin's Vengence is something you don't deal with. I don't know if I can think of a more Grim Nemesis to face than the Lord of Innistrad. I passed him in a draft once, and I still have a Markov shame.
+SeibenMTG Im confused wasn't the cryptoliths made by Nahiri and she's using them to channel the whole planes mana to summon something? How i understood the story the mana "drain" effect is driving creatures thats is made out of mana(Angels) and have alot of mana in their system(like werewolf) insane its also waking thing up thats been sleeping. I might be wrong but isnt Avacyns insanity just an byproduct of this effect? Then again the werewolf might be going insane because the moon is being pulled in. (im sorry if im wrong some of the stories i only scanned over so i might have miss read them) Also the fatpack player guide has the deal with Sorin and Olivia written in it and an bit of eksta text that said Jace want Sorin help with Emrakul. But Sorin realized what Nihiri had been doing, and that he had played right into her plan.
I really love the Innistrad plane and its story with Avacyns disapearing in the first block, and now Avacyn's madness, Nahiri and so on... really my favourite plane.

I love both of the artworks for Anguished Unmaking, especially the promo. They capture the emotion of the moment, in which Sorin must end Avacyn, who is almost like his daughter, perfectly.
I pulled an Anguished Unmaking in my SOI pre-release box, I was super bummed for Sorin, cuz it gave me a heads up about how the Avacyn story was going to end. I'm excited to start hearing more about Eldritch Moon!
As a fan, I was devastated by this ending, despite it being known thanks to Anguished Unmaking. It was a lot more sad to read it and see this from Avacyn's point of view, and really does make us sympathize with her and what's been done to her for really a stupid misunderstanding by Nahiri.
I really enjoyed this video, it was quite well made and you nailed the art for the transitions! As for being punny, I once did a theatrical performance about puns, but really it was all just a play on words. Moving into the next set, we may be seeing a lot to do with the drownyard temple, or we may just see a paddle sale at the local shop in the Port Town. With all the zombies around though, that might be quite the oar deal. Anyways, I would really dislike seeing another Eldrazi set, but until we figure out what's going on in Innistrad, just remember that Rick Astley will lend you any Pixar movie except for one. He's never gonna give you Up.
One of the cool things about that article just after Avacyn was unmade was the images of her symbol on tons of other cards. Her not being around is a BIIIIIIG problem for the people of Innistrad.

It is like the "created by someone" angels are cursed. Avacyn was corrupted, Radiant as well, Akroma was focused on vegence ending up creating Karona. I would really like to see a video on Legendary angels!

Given that angels are beings of pure mana, I'm not sure angel planeswalkers could happen.
They could happen in a similar way to Karn.
