I had to choose 10 and I couldn’t choose them all! There are probably enough for follow up with those you mentioned as well as Klondike Creek, Octopus and Billy Bobs Rockafire Explosion show!
The Bullet was incredible the best noise ive ever heard from a coaster! Terroriser was amazing! Being young and waiting in the Thunder Mountain que was such a buzz a great ride when you was a kid. Loved the Corkscrew. Waikiki Wave was great as well. God FL has lost some of its great rides. Those that went on Holiday there in Caravans will also know how amazing the top of the park was at night in the club and arcade, The atmosphere back then was incredible. Now with the Club close to the Caravans its never been the same, Such a shame.
This is a really informative video. I'd actually forgotten about a couple of them. I'd been to flamingoland loads of times before I first went on Bullet, it is the only coaster I ever found intimidating
@@CoasterConnections I don't know why it took me so long to ride it, but when I did I got my arm stuck under the shoulder restraint and couldn't get it out til the end of the ride lol
I was at Flamingo Land on Tuesday! Sik is a fantastic coaster and definitely one of the best rides in the UK. It’s been years since I’ve been to the park. The Bullet was SBNO when I was there, so never managed to ride it, although I did ride Terroriser and Top Gun. I rode Crazy Loop at Pleasure Island. Funny you mentioned that Magnum was smooth, reviews I’ve seen of it in its new home at Indiana Beach suggest it’s one of the worst coasters in the country. Another well put together video, thanks 🙏
I grew up with Flamingo Land, rode most but never managed to experience Crazy Loop and my memory of Thunder Mountain is hazy! Magnum Force seemed smooth at the time, but it was 20 years ago! I’m assuming they must be different trains at Indiana Beach due to the differing restraint types, so could cause the roughness. I need to get back there to see for myself!
@@CoasterConnections they’re using one of the old and now defunct Mindbender trains. Using three lead cars due to increased wheel assemblies, I’m guessing because of the derailment incidents on this coaster and Mindbender. It’s got the accordion shoulder restraints as well, which can lead to uncomfortable head banging on some of the transitions.
Thank you! I had fun doing this video! I’d love the park to get back to how it was in the early 2000’s. They were starting to install permanent rides at a rapid pace!
Great video. I really appreciate the time and research you've put into your videos. I wonder if you have ever thought about adding some of the audio from the footage to add a little more depth to the piece?
Thank you, it's great to know the hours put in are appreciated. I have thought about it, but the clip audio is often random background noise, not relevant chatting or just people screaming! I know my boring voice can get too much sometimes! 😂
I have been on the bullet, magnum force too back in the day. They was both brilliant. I don’t think they knew how precious they’d be when they got rid, especially the bullet. I guarantee the bullet easily pulled 6gs .
You are right, it seems every park in the UK had that ride at some point. I could only pick so many to cover, but I think ether are enough for a follow up video. Flamingo land has had so many attractions come and go.
Greetings from York! Shame to miss you both but nice to know you were both so close by, really fair review - it’s never had the money of other parks to compete on a high level - hope they could get a raptor at some point, image the cash to value is high- I’d probably trade that for a more TLC and removal / relocation of rides to create a better general park layout / zones / landscaping and a more natural park vibes - too much concrete carpark feels ✌️
I would also like to add that this is a brilliant video and takes me back to my childhood!
Thank you so much! And thank you for watching and commenting! 😄
Wow, this brings back some memories. Thank you for this.
My pleasure, I have so many memories from many visits to Flamingo Land.
Great video! Would be good if you did one on LWV
Appreciate you watching! I’d love to do a Lightwater Valley video. I used to love that park back in the day!
Thanks for the flamingo land video
And thanks to you for watching!
@@CoasterConnections you forgot the flying trapeze and sky flyer btw good video

I feel the same. So many great rides lost! I didn’t realise until I started researching this video. There is probably enough for a follow up too!
@@CoasterConnections Yeah ... I mean their coaster line up now is obviously better with Hero no.1 in the world but the Bullet was so unique.
Terrorizor is my favorite flat ride of all time!!
I always remember hanging upside down for what felt like 5 minutes!
Just came across your channel. Really interesting and great to know the history about these rides.
Welcome aboard! I love sharing my passion for theme park history.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. I grew up with visits to Flamingo Land, if you rode “The Bullet” you had bragging rights at school!

That explains it. Hate those restraints with a passion. That’s what was on the Bullet and almost put me off coasters! 😂
What a great video you done there! And remember all that and now, He as destroyed the park😢.

I can see why they were removed, but they are full of nostalgia for me! Researching this video really took me back!
No mention of the Flying Trapeze? That's an iconic UK coaster at several different parks!
You are right, it seems every park in the UK had that ride at some point. I could only pick so many to cover, but I think ether are enough for a follow up video. Flamingo land has had so many attractions come and go.
I wish they had kept the corkscrew as it was always enjoyable up until its final days it was always smooth to ride.
There were many places in the park they could have constructed Sik. But in the last few years Corkscrew was in a sorry state!
That is true. Sik is in the best location for sure. The park need good dark ride next i think

I always say a raptor would be a fantastic addition to Flamingo Land. But you are right needs a good tidy up too.
Bullet is in Mexico
It sure is. There is some footage of it in the video.
The sky Flyer.
That was also a great ride!
Can't forget UFO
There have been so many lost rides over the years!
