What kind of air ventilation do you use or do you wear a respirator mask (for Volatile organic compounds) ? I've read that alcohol fumes can be significantly harmful over longer periods of time.

You cant use alc ink directly on canvas. What do you use as a coat? Because when you use it directly the alcohol goes through the canvas
You use only alcohol or other media to separate?
do yoiu put a pillow coat down first or just apply the ink to the gessoed canvas?

oh also, which gold did you use in the alcohol ink. I love the way it turned out. I am a fluid paint artist but dibbling recently in alcohol inks. So Im a total newbie! lol

The heat is on medium heat

Navimer is the same as isopropyl alcohol but without smell
you can use a pen or alcohol ink markers on top of the alcohol ink
What do you use to prep thr canvas so the ink flows and doesn't soak in? Also when using your dryer do you use the heat or cool setting?

What is Navimer alcohol, is that a Denmark thing, is it the same as 91% isopropyl alcohol? Thanks

just buy canvas with gesso on
it is enough
I’ve tried buying canvas with guesso on and added guesso myself but it doesn’t seem to help the inks sit on the top of the canvas - it tends to ‘blob’ where I put it. Perhaps I should add more alcohol to it as I begin….
