it was my idea when I started this painting and even though I chose some unconventional colors I think I came to the finish line with this painting.
Markers and fine line pen give movement in the "water"

Your choice of colors is beautiful together. Fantastic composition with most certainly an under the sea feeling. Thank you for sharing the process for creating lines, slowing the video down really allowed me to pick up on the subtleties. Beautiful painting 👏👏👏

You never fail!! The texture you achieve is amazing. This piece is really interesting . I set myself up for my first ‘proper’ attempt of this art. I’ve got Yupo, black and white Nara and just normal photographic paper. The yupo and the photo paper really soaked up the ink and the alcohol, it went through to the other side in fact. The black Nara didn’t soak through. I can see that this media is going to take me a very long time to master!! I think I need to invest in an ‘air-dryer’ like yours. Lone, you make it look so so easy!! Thanks for helping me with all your videos. They really are a great help for me. Keep safe! 🙏🙏🙏🤗

i do not understand how the ink can go through the yupo paper
it is synthetic throughout.
photo paper may well go through but not yupo.
.
start simple
more alcohol than ink and use a low speed hair dryer to start with.

I’ve had the supplies for a while now, but have been prevaricating ( a lot). I’m not a confident person but watching and admiring all your works has eventually given me the kick I needed. When I use an electric air blower, it causes my paper to warp.... I’m new to this. Do you have any advice on this?

you will need to use one where you can set the heat, -too hot, then you will ruin the paper
What brand is your dryer?
My heat gun is an Falke
I have been trying for weeks to make ripples. For me, impossible. It makes droplets, anything except ripples. I use Yupo, Piñata ink, 99% alcohol… Help!
