Fun fact: After the song "The End", the next logical song is again "Dust to Dust". The hint is the reference to "Start again" in the last song (and the fact that the Queen is committing suicide, therefore going to dust). Then in "Dust to Dust" you also have the reference to "dust to dust our bones will rust and we shall START AGAIN". Therefore, this makes the album a never ending loop. This loop is also referred to in the song "The End" -- "Like a constant loop inside my mind that's always on repeat". No matter our own interpretation, this album is one of the greatest concept album of all time. I suspect that once the girls make it huge internationally, this album will come back to the front for the masterpiece that it is. Cheers!

From their early classical piano training, individual instrument lessons and music theory education at Berklee College of Music and the seriousness with which each of them approached it, I believe that these ladies have such a deep, deep understanding of melodic and harmonic musical structure that, every time they begin to write a song, that knowledge that has been burned into their subconscious takes over and guides them throughout the process, resulting in a nearly-perfectly-written piece of musical work.
As a fifty-plus-years musician/drummer, I have NEVER experienced such astoundingly-consistently-great songwriting as theirs! It continually leaves me breathless and in awe. I am often LITERALLY moved to tears of appreciation, respect and admiration when hearing their music, watching their videos and seeing their performances.
I like your comment as it's based on your expertise as a musician and a lover of music.

In the song HUNTER, the whispers are: "I'm coming back, there's no escape". This is the Grim Reaper whispering to the Queen's ear. The entire song is sung from the Grim Reaper's perspective -- He is upset that the Queen is doing his work and comes back to stop her in her tracks.

I had the honor to Meet up with some close fans, The Band, Management and there parents after the concert at a restaurant near the venue they played at in Mexico city. It wasn't until around 1:30am that we all got together for Dinner. We all sat down and Pau was sitting right across from me! She chatted my ear off for at least a half hour before are dinner arrived. I didn't know what to order as everything on the menu was in spanish so Pau actually ordered my food which was the same as what she had, very good stuff! The girls were very busy from early that morning until Dinner at that point. I kept looking over at Ale as she were about 2 people in between her and Pau at the table and she was so tired she was literally sleeping at the table, I felt bad for her, at the time she was only 13 years old and I'm sure all she wanted to do was go back to the hotel to sleep. She hardly ate anything and before we were done with dinner her mom led her out the door and took her to the hotel to go to bed. It was just to much for her after a long busy day. But the girls wanted to do this and hang out with some of there fans and in general everyone had a great time.

The white bass is a Spector Eddie Jackson (Queensryche) signature model I think, one of 2 gifted to Ale by a fan before she became a Spector artist in her own right and got her own signature "Ale's Inferno" 5 string bass.
Actually the white bass is a Spector Euro 4LX. The Black one is a Spector Euro 4LX Rachel Bolen (Skid Row).

"Olé! Olé! Olé! Warning! Warning!" They were all exhausted in the end, especially poor little Ale. It was a long show, and it was way past her bedtime. But she's a trouper!
I read somewhere they they actually had to help Ale off the stage because she was so exhausted.

They left it all on the stage and we're left with a great recording of the masterpiece.
The whispering on Hunter is ''I'm coming back, there's no escape''. This song is from the point of Death (as in the Grim Reaper) who is not pleased with the Queen claiming the throne in QOTMS.
The End is sung by the dying Queen looking back and realizing her evil deeds.
Note: Dust to Dust was sung by the Queen's ghost inviting us to listen to her story.
As encore the sang fan favorite Survive from XXI Century Blood. The entire Lunario concert is on UA-cam as well.

Dany makes that Manson cry in "The End." And the look on her face at the very end is amazing. Cheerleader Punk, the Grim Reaper, and Pau telling us to start again. Great conclusion.
HUNTER; "I'm coming back, there's no escape." It's a third character "Death" coming after "The Queen" for taking his title. "The End" is the original character regretting but not making excuses for what she did, As she dies.
This was Pau giving it all at the end of an Hou and a half of slamming on the drums! AMAZING song, Album, and performances!!👍❤🤘

Hey Cheezy! Yes, PSYCHOTIC takes my breathe away every time too. It's their cheerleader punk anthem! At this point, the Queen has completely lost it and has taken "the throne" away from The Grim Reaper. Now everyone including the Grim Reaper are after her and she is egging them on.
In Hunter, Dany is singing as The Grim Reaper saying, you better watch out, I am after you and will get my throne back. I will pull you under when you trip and fall. BTW, they are whispering "He's coming back, there's no escape" over and over
In the End, The Queen is dying, either by suicide or at the hands of the Grim Reaper. She is saying she wishes she could forget what she did, but can't deny it as she withers away. But, she is saying to start again (as in go to the beginning to Dust to Dust) and the story comes full circle.

There are videos on UA-cam of Ale taking lead vocal on Hunter when Danni needed a break.
The scream in Psychotic was part of the backing track , one of my favourites on the album.One of the best punk songs ever made , imo. Check out Ale singing lead on Hunter when they opened up for the band Stryper and in that version Pau sings the whispering part .
When you stop and realize that Dany is spitting those lyrics at break neck speed in PSYCHOTIC in her second language, it’s truly remarkable!
QOTMS is a great foundation for what comes next, can’t wait for you to get to the next level material on Error!
Yes, hurts me worse when they speak Spanish. The school they attended was an English speaking school. Their parents speak English also. Some times they do search for the correct English word to convey what they mean. Watch the instagram posts by them. Danny talks in English and translates in Spanish. This will be the most documented Band ever, start to enfinity.
And back to XXI Century Blood and further back to Escape the Mind... then all of their covers. Oh the Vlog series for QOTMS would be cool too

Dany’s melodic solo reminds me very much of David Gilmour, Pink Floyd. The album is a masterpiece, written by two teens and a pre-teen. It is the epitome of genius on display. Really enjoying your reactions.
Yep! A couple days ago, I was thinking the same thing! She definitely has a Gilmour-like approach to her solo melody, phrasing and structure. Of course, she can't go wrong there!

The chant is Ole Ole Ole, like chanting for a bull fighter, most people do this in soccer games. But your idea is cool, chant for Ale
That chant has been picked up in some of the US shows. I'm not positive, but I think we used it in Boston.
I've definitely heard the chant prior but this was "Ale, Ale Ale Ale, Warning, Warning" 🤘🤘🤘😎🧀

The problem with listening to The Warning every song ends up being the favorite song after hearing it for the first time!
You mentioned exhaustion. They were beyond exhausted. In fact, Ale skipped the after-concert dinner they had with some fans, and went straight to bed. She was put on doctor-ordered rest for a couple weeks. They had just finished up a whirlwind couple of tours, on top of promotional activities for the album, which was debuted live at this show. They had released the first three chapters over the preceding months, and debuted chapter four at this show, at Lunario, in Mexico City (CDMX).
For icing on the cake, Mexico City is above 7,000 feet, making breathing a little difficult, let alone singing. While this concert is one for Rock ad Roll History, they could not quite get out the songs in the way they wanted, like on the album, or other shows, where they could breath. That being said, their voices were in a little better shape at Foro Didi, the videos of which are on their channel. They play the whole album there as well.
Thanks for mentioning the altitude! This show was really unbelievable when you think about that. Can't believe Dany sounded so good. Not saying you can't tell she struggled but I'm sure many pros would have caved

They and their entire staff need to eat more healthy food. Fresh cooked veggies and raw fruits. Comfort foods, not hotpockets! OK, ok, Ale can have her Takis Fuego! I like them too! 🤪🤣
It was the first time they performed QotMS in its entirety. The venue is Mexico City (CDMX) which has a elevation of over 7300' with a 2 hour show.

IMHO the Q.O.T.M.S concept album is an instant classic. The lyrics, the story telling, the different styles of music set the album apart. Then you see them preform and it blows your mind. Great reactions.🤘😎⚠️

Looks like pretty much everyone jumped onto describing the songs already haha! One thing is that during P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C., she goes on a murder spree. Pau has mentioned in an interview that the Queen's love's death in Stalker was "the first murder". We also have the lines "Crimson Blood tattooed on my hands" and "Better drop that gun while you still have a chance" to me implies that law enforcement is chasing her while she's on her rampage, reinforced by the "They're commin' after me" line, which is what creates the Grim Reaper personality in The Hunter.
In Hunter, while it's known that it's sung from the Grim Reaper's perspective, I think this third personality is a manifestation of her conscience. This would fit with the fact that the reaper inflicts a mortal wound to the Queen, which is really just her stabbing herself, or something to that effect, in a desperate attempt to stop all the killing. Then in The End, she comes back to the light, so to speak, to reflect on her final moments.
Others have already explained the connection between The End and Dust to Dust, so I won't go over it again, but it's just so good how they made that work. According to them it wasn't even planned that way, it just happened!

Great reaction Cheezy. The hunter is the grimm reaper. It is always emotional to end this album with a great song. It is sad to end a great journey. A masterpiece by teenagers. The encore song at this concert after THE END was Survive.
There was so much passion and emotion throught this concert it could of been performed on Broadway. Especially the performance from Dany and her delivery on all her vocals were so valid.
I see the girls have got your soul too. Mine was gone years ago to these 3 amazing sisters. This is the past now and what historic memory but we have new amazing music to enjoy. The Queen of the murder scene will never be forgotten but cherished. 🤟

Psychotic is my favorite song from this be album, my son who's bilingual cane up to me saying when hearing the chorus: "Hey Papi they're chanting : Chiles oh sí en tortilla saben bien!!" Hahahaha. And that's what I hear each time In hear it!!! Best song ever.

Whilst you're paused during "Hunter", let me pause to say that in the split, it is Dany who portrays the evil side and Pau the good side. The scream during "P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C." was recorded by Dany in a room with all of the lights off. I believe she scared herself when she did it! "Hunter" introduces a new Character, the Grim Reaper. Okay, let's get it.

Congratulations sir , you have now completed what is truly a masterpiece. Go check the lyrics (they can be found on the bands official website) and listen to all the songs again while following along and another layer will be added to the experience. These three songs are great , Psychotic is off the wall (It took me ages not to get tongue tied while singing along to Ale and Pau's chant LOL) Hunter is really good and the version that Ale sings is great especially the start with amazing rock poses :) and The End always brings a tear to my eye knowing that the album is finished. it's a very personal song as well and will have many meanings for different people but as a survivor it hits me hard every time I hear it.
thank you for taking us on this journey, it's been a blast and now you can go and listen to more of their catalogue of songs (which is also brilliant) I love all of their stuff but this album for me is my favourite album of all time and I keep going back to it time and time again and it holds a special place in my heart. it helped me find my music groove again after seemingly losing it for many many years and The Warning has opened my eyes and ears to music again and I will forever be grateful for that.
I'm not far off the big 50 (Omg that hurt to type) and I have never been moved as much by music as I have with The warning. Long may it continue :)

So now you're deep in the rabbit hole. which way do you go next...back to the future and continue with songs from the Error album, or continue delving into the past with their first album and some incredible live videos from the Dakota Bar? Since you've already reacted to their original cover of Enter Sandman, I would recommend that you react to the 2021 version with Alessia Cara. You're in for a surprise. Then maybe a couple of videos with Ale singing lead. After that plenty to choose from. On a side note.... Guessing from items in your background that you're a Duck fan. Not sure if you're in the pacific NW, but TW is opening for Three Days Grace in Vancouver on Nov 8 then continuing with Three Days Grace through Canada. About the best chance for you seeing them live at the moment. Always look forward to your reactions. We just need to get you over the 1k hump.
John, I appreciate you bringing notice to the 1k hump. To me, that would be awesome but the be all is more than that. I would love to build a community that can talk freely about music and so far it is heading in the right direction 🤘😎 I was planning on continuing the dive into the past but I realized that I've had some newer songs already on the list from earlier on. I will get to more of the covers (I want to hear them all! Lol) but first, I will probably continue the newest songs at the moment. I'm located in California and timing just doesn't work out for a live show right now. But for sure next time they are in town!! 🧀
The guitar riffs from the end reminds me of the 80's band Hear.

There was an encore. They played songs from XXI Century Blood between the QOTMS chapters. I think that they ended the show with Survive.
Indeed it was "Survive" that was their encore for this show Robert. After seeing "Dust to Dust" and discovering they had the full show available on their channel, that was my head first dive. As others have commented, including Cheezy, one could sense that the tank was empty and the fumes burned through when Ale's final bass notes concluded the show. The dedication to their art and putting everything into a live performance was instant respect.
'The End' is still one of my favorite tracks from this album! Pau's emotional vocals that essentially bring the album full circle as the Queen is dying, and Dany's perfect 'Gilmouresque' solo make for a perfect ending to the story!😉 🤘😎🤘 *FUN FACT:* Pau switches out to Dany doing the final few vocal notes because her voice doesn't reach quite that high without cracking.🙂

The Hunter is the grim reaper. Their is a live version where Ale takes the lead. Her deep voice completely fits the character. ( FYI four characters appear in this story. The bad Queen=Dany. The good Queen = Pau. The preacher = Rudy. Finally the grim reaper = Dany/Ale.)

Have been enjoying your run-through of the QOTMS album! The studio album is a completely different experience; much more intimate and creepy. Gosh they are so great. Fresh air to music scene but yet traditional. Ms. Alejandra... she really fulfills the trio - she's very, very important to TW, especially as being a trio. She has been doing everything so damn well for so many years now - and she's still a teenager at the moment!
Biggest mistake a fan of The Warning can make is to say that a certain song is their favorite, especially when you haven't heard their entire discography yet. Even after you've heard everything, you will find that your favorite can easily change from day to day. Lately Runaway from their first album has been living rent free in my head.

'Queen of the Murder Scene' album reminds me of all the late 80s and 90s female fronted bands. Here are 10: 1) Hole 2) Garbage 3) L7 4) Skunk Anansie 5) Sleater-Kinney 6) Bikini Kill 7) The Breeders 8) No Doubt 9) The Cranberries 10) Babes In Toyland. Hence, nothing new, but certainly refreshing.

Unfortunately, the chant is not exactly for "Ale, Ale, Ale, Ale", but (I don't know the spelling) "Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole", which is (I believe) a Latin American thing they do at sporting events, mainl;y soccer games. It's a stadium chant, if you will. It has become somewhat of a trademark The Warning fan ritual.
Exactly right!.. It's a chant used in soccer games and music concerts.. It's Olé, with accent mark on 'e', different from Ole (without accent mark and emphasis on the 'O') which is a chant used in Bullfights (mostly in Spain).
They are whispering ( I'm coming back, There's no escape) They started writing these songs after XXI Century Blood about 11 14 and 16 YO.

I will say though that the Grim reaper could be interpreted in two ways, either it is the grim reaper that is coming after her, or that it is a third personality within the Queens mind that is manifesting itself and taking over, either way the grim reaper delivers a mortal blow to the Queen. So glad you enjoyed this album is truly is a master piece made even more phenomenal by the fact the girls were so young when they wrote and performed this, Ale was only 13 at this concert. They did one more song after The End btw it was "Survive" At some point you should give the Entire concert a watch from start to end, they played songs from XXI Century Blood in between the chapters
I realize I'm a year late to the party, but I've only recently got warned with the VMAs. Since then I've been going down the rabbit hole. This is my first time hearing Psychotic and I am shocked at how good it is. I wish they would play it more live. I also really like Red Hands, especially when Ale sings it. Heck, I am really impressed with this entire concept album and knowing that they wrote and produced it at their young age makes all the more special. Viva The Warning!

Not only did they do the entire album at the show, they also played five songs, I think from their first album. Yeah, they were worn out. I believe Ale (only 13 then) had to rest up for a week or two afterwards.
Dude, I still can't believe you were underwhelmed with Sinister Smiles! You need to have another listen to it. It was actually a critical moment in the story when the Queen was having an internal struggle between her evil side and her conscious. Besides the plot connector, it's all hook and a great song. HAHAHA!
You know Cheezyxyz.... I liked this band from the first experience. I really love them. Pau is so powerful drummer and how she supports the whole band with her own activities and she`s voice... I love it. Dany´s Riff´s and also voice is amagines. Ale`s bass riff`s... wow! I really love it.

This may be my favorite block of three songs you reacted to from QOTMS! I love all three of these songs so much. Such an amazing end to the album. The Queen has admitted what she has become and everything she has done. Per vlog #26, the girls say that the Queen is mocking those that are trying to capture her. In the previous song, the evil side said that she didn’t deserve the throne. Here the girl says that she will sit on her throne. She is claiming the throne and embracing her evil self - joyously embracing it. It seems that she commits other acts of violence here. She says the knife in her hands will not stop.
Hunter
Per the girls’ vlog #26, in Hunter the Grim Reaper appears and delivers a fatal wound to the Queen at the end of this song. However, since the Queen has multiple personalities and is psychotic, it is easy to see that the Grim Reaper is simply a manifestation of either the evil side or of some other personality inside her, and that she commits suicide. Perhaps one personality believes that it is killing another one of the personalities. This song could be the Queen’s conscience reasserting itself, letting the evil side know that the war within will never end.
The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade)
The Queen lies dying in The End and these are her last thoughts. She regrets nothing because she still feels that she did it all for love (Sinister Smiles ends with the evil side repeatedly screaming “I have done no wrong”). Interestingly, Paulina sings both the first and this last song, making a cycle where Dust To Dust includes the line “In the end everything just turns back into dust to dust”. The final lines of The End are “start again” and Dust To Dust says “and we shall start again”. They actually didn’t plan it that way from the beginning but liked the way it worked out.

This is the greatest concept album ever made imo and I've probably listened to it a thousand times in the past year cuz I listen to it every week, along with the rest of their phenomenal catalog. Usually when they perform Hunter live Pau chants the "I'm coming back, there's no escape" part and screams it at the end but in the studio version it's whispered all the way through. The documentary you were talking about is called, Mayday in the Making, and I think it was 6 parts.

The Warning began recording XXI Century Blood in 2016 (“...a Masterpiece…”) at Sonic Ranch and released it in 2017. In that same year, they were invited to open for legendary rock bands Aerosmith, Def Leppard, and Alice Cooper at the Mother of All Rock Festival at the Forum Arena Monterrey.[20] In April 2018, they opened for The Killers at Arena Monterrey. Sing along to ‘DULL KNIVES’. A few years later, others had mentioned they should open for Halestorm. During a Pandemic live stream concert with multiple bands, Lizzy Hale saw them and was so impressed she asked them to tour with her.
Congratulations! Prior to the LP ‘ERROR’, the EP released with three new songs: ‘Animosity’-’ Disciple’ - and ‘Z’ making it a total of six banging songs. The Foo Fighters asked The Warning to open for them (again in Mexico) and continue touring with them thereafter. The video ’MONEY’ (now at 1.2 million views), was a result of their first day with The Foo Fighters performing in a stadium of 50K fans.
Unfortunately, the Foo Fighters drummer died one week later. Instead, The Warning is currently touring with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Metallica expects The Warning to fancy a few dates opening for them as well.
The Warning along with Alessia Cara (R&B/Pop) is on Metallica’s just dropped ‘Blacklist' album which was released September 10th, 2021. ‘ENTER SANDMAN’ by The Warning which is the first song on the album. The result is an EPIC reinvention of an iconic song done in The Warning style! 5 days later, it had over half a million views! They meant it when Dany said “Music is passion. Music is hope, Music is life!” as speakers when they also performed at the TED Conference.
THE WARNING collaborated with Alessia to come up with their own creative version of Enter Sandman, as Metallica asked them to do! Alessia Cara is a Canadian Grammy-winning POP/R&B singer/songwriter. with 4 Grammy’s and many Hit Songs. Thus, the first hit off of the ‘Blacklist Album’ to drop - ENTER SANDMAN!
They are from Monterey, Mexico, and have been playing as a band since 2013.Their first video from their basement, known as ‘The Cave’, was THE PRETENDER by the FOO FIGHTERS 6 years ago, at the ages of 9, 12, and 14, winning many accolades, which is now at 2.6M views.
In the year 2021, at ages of 16, 19, and 21, they appeared on the Ellen show. Then played and sold out the stage at the Whisky a GoGo a few times, both days each time. plus the House of Blues, both venues in Hollywood. THE WARNING was approached by record companies, but they always wanted to change something about the band, their music, or how they should dress. The girls weren't having any of it! When in negotiations with Lava Records before signing a 5 record contract, the girls insisted upon reading the entire contract themselves rather than leaving it to a lawyer to interpret. And they still do their music their way. No skimpy costumes or vapid pop crap. To understand their immense talent, you need to see them from early on.
We step back to 2015 and The Warning’s cover of Muse’s Hysteria: Please note that the bass line is very difficult. The bass player from Muse doesn’t like the song much because it is complex and tiring. It has been ranked somewhere in the middle of the 10 hardest bass lines in rock, but 10-year old Ale kills it, like she had been playing it for years- because she had.
In 2015 they also released an EP of original music called ‘Escape the Mind.’ In 2016 they were invited to participate in a ‘Ted Talk’ where they sang 3 songs and told their story of how they came to be. At the time they were 11, 13, and 15 years old. They were popularly voted by the majority of TED alumni for a second visit the following year.
Keep in mind they were only 12, 15, and 17 years old and killed this technically challenging song of ATLAS RISE. They released booth CHOKE a year ago and then EVOLVE from their upcoming 3rd album. The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness as she fights for her soul. It is a masterpiece.
It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, ‘XXI CENTURY BLOOD’, is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing.

Mayday in the Making is the docu series you were thinking of 6 episodes about 5-6 mins each in length and a lot of fun to watch. It never seems to fail, you hear someone talk about listening to this album for the first time and you have to go back and listen to it again yourself because they caught something that you didn't. To me that is a sign of true greatness.
