This was January 2017 when Dany was 16 (almost 17), Pau was 14 (almost 15), and Ale had just turned 12. Even at this age, they were seasoned pros. This is the performance that hooked many of us in The Warning Army. They are a band that is at their best with an audience and they never disappoint. Rock monsters on stage and yet when you meet them, they are the sweetest, most humble girls that are truly grateful for their fans. The live versions of their songs are available and won't be blocked. The Dakota Bar performance is an excellent video that showcases their first album, XXI Century Blood. The Lunario (which you started with Dust to Dust) is the first performance of the full second album Queen of the Murder Scene. Other live performances with pro-shot videos available include the Foro Didi show, and the show at the Whisky a Go Go. Watch any, watch them all, we'll watch with you!

The first song was Unmendable. Dany wrote When I'm Alone as a homework assignment while at Berklee College of Music in Boston when she was 15 or 16, she was extremely homesick and depressed and this song was a result of that. This performance of Survive was what hooked a lot of us, it is an awesome example of how great their musical abilities are such as being multi instrumentalists (they all play piano), great song writers (They all have composed songs), great singers (They all sing and have taken on the lead vocals) and just how professional they are (Pau not missing a beat when she broke her stick and retrieved a new one). In those early days they didn't have a road crew, their father was the roadie/manager and their mother was their makeup and personal manager and they had to play through a lot of technical gremlins. They did so with grace and professionalism and never threw a fit or had a diva moment.

Awesome you took the time to watch the entire TEDx talk. Most reactors only watch the last song, "Survive", and miss them talking about what is important to them as people, musicians, and artists. They adhere to these values to this day.

I have to admit, I get a bit emotional every time I see this. "When I'm Alone" was written by a homesick 15-year-old Dany, far away from home and friends whilst attending a summer session along with her sisters at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. She had an assignment to write a song, and at that point it was due the next morning, and she had nothing and was drawing a blank. Late into the night she reached down into her feelings, and this masterpiece was the result!

First song, Unmendable. I so wish they would play that song again! Pau, in the pocket, jamming that groove. Dany, with that stripped down few bars with just her and the guitar. What kids would have the confidence needed to write that way let alone perform it? Ale, driving bass and KILLER backing vocals!
Next, Dany’s song written as an exercise by a homesick teen away at Berkeley School of Music. It’s a perfect song. I can’t get over how relatable and timeless it is. Oh, and Ale’s bass line? It rivals some of the best ever written.
Survive? Mind blown. This song and performance led me down the rabbit hole along with a lot of others.
I can watch their two TedX performances from start to finish over and over…and I have.

The lyrics were reportedly directed at a specific record producer that disappointed them, the one they mentioned that wanted to change them into a pop group. He asked them (paraphrasing) if they would rather perform for 500 or 50,000 people; they supposedly told him they would be happy performing for 500 as long as they could stay true to themselves. This was their 2nd TedX. They were there a year earlier also.
The song "When I'm Alone" was basically written by Danny. They attended a summer session at the Berkeley school of music". Danny had to write a song. She was very home sick. Ellen Digenerous gave them $10,000 each. That helped pay for the 5 week course. There are several videos of the Ellen show and them doing the trip and school.

When I first saw this I was stunned at seeing a 12 year old playing bass like a pro but not only playing it but singing backup as well. The music was great and Dany's vocals were so good. But I would be lying if I said that it wasn't Pau that pulled all my attention, during this show she just blew my mind, her drumming skills were intergalactic and then she topped it off by singing as well. All three girls were amazing but Pau was just on another level, the way she beat up those drums I'm sure they were just begging for mercy by the end. This performance hooked me but it was the song Dust to Dust that pulled me inside The Warning rabbit hole. Ale has always been the quiet but devastating bass player who always seems shy, but shatters your knee caps with the sound of her bass, Dany is a perfect lead singer, she throws herself fully into the song and sings with real feeling and passion. Pau grabs you by the hair and tosses you about like a rag doll with her drumming, but can bring you to tears with her emotional singing that pierces your very soul with songs like Black Holes, 23, Breathe and Revenant to name a few.

This was also when I joined their Patreon because I was insanely curious to see what they would come up with next! I was never disappointed, I can tell you that much.
