I got the 52" Raptor two weeks ago and mowed. I didn't realize it didn't have a hour meter. I found your video first and went to Amazon and ordered one. When it came in I watched your video again to make sure I wire it correctly. It was so easy to install. Took about 5 min. Thanks for sharing.

Great video I purchased a 2020 Toro Timecutter and wanted to add a hour meter found your video and ordered the Husqvarna meter for 20.00 and it works perfect.
Great video. My new Rover LZ48 ( the red cub cadet) has a similar hour meter. No button though. It monitors battery voltage, oil volume and tells you when to change the oil. It cuts real nice too :)

+Supreme Services Lawn Care your video will have to wait. I took it back to the dealer to get the sticks adjusted and get the steering adjusted so it tracks in a straight line when both sticks are full forward.

Do these have batteries in them? I purchased one and installed it but it’s not working. I noticed yours was on when you had not connected it yet. I’ll have to look at mine again.
So where do the black and red wires connect on the mower itself - ours came back from service disconnected not at the switch but whereever the wires go to from the switch to receive the readings to the switch.

Might be a dumb question..... After oil change how do you clear it for next oil change? The reset button is fussy....hold it down or press it so many times?

damn that's small bro ...if you can do it with a 52 inch mower ...which where I am that's impossible...but damn 25 bucks would be reasonable but if it's a upper class area that has a lot to do with it ...put it to you this way I have a 10k Sq ft lot in a lower to middle class neibor hood ...I may charge $40.00 ...but the same lot in upper class neiborhood I would charge $55- $60.00 ...depends on area ...but you being new I would be careful and do something in middle...good luck bro
Steve man u hooked it up exactly like this. no issues there. I have maybe 2 hours on the unit. checked the hour meter last night it reads 51.7. ita telling me to change the oil. is it reading hours with just the key in it not in the on position?
So what does it do at 50 hours other than display 50 to remind you to change the oil? Very nice video btw, thank you. I would have NEVER thought it came not only pre-wired but already a cut out. Mine is due for its first oil change so this is perfect timing to install one. :-)

2015s and later 2014s came with the pre-wired rigging....my 2013 does not...had to wire myself....which was a ground and tying into a week feed off the harness connected to the ignition switch.

Well, the cut out on my Craftsman Z5800 is twice the size (and only one cut out), the spare wires (3) are connected to a modular plug...

Lol..mine never worked on this mower I just counted 50 ..don't have to be exactly at 50 ..if I was a homeowner I would just do at end of each year

No mechanic ever touched this mower besides me . All done from factory. If you can tie your shoes you can do this
They use the same harness on all Hustlers so they are all prewired for hour meter from the factory.

All the hour meters have a epoxy sealed case, you can't change the battery.....most made today are junk
