Hi from America. I’m a subscriber, love your train surfing videos, never miss one. But this video-wow, you hit a home run. Thanks for an excellent tour of Kazan, I want to go there. The city design is fresh, new, such character. Well Russia is really cool. Your camera work and editing is awesome too. Nice job!

I guess because of Champions League? It's insane to think some European teams have to travel so much, but it could be much worse. Imagine if FC Yakutiya Yakutsk was in the Champions League.
BEAUTIFUL CITY... surprise is that there are not many people outdoors or indoors!!? It's hard to believe knowing that Kazan it's not a town or small city!? Good job buddy, thanks.
The beauty, efficiency, details and endearment of this city is off the chart. The cleanliness is an example for all cities. I did a cost of living with this city and Pittsburgh and was astounded how inexpensive all goods (except some clothing) is. Thank You for doing this area, I would enjoy many more videos of this magnificent city.

Your videos are very interesting. Your English is fluent and clear. And your country is great. Love the adventure. I did the same in late 80s early 90s. Did visit Budapest and 19 other countries throughout Europe and other places. Wish we had social media then. Great feeling meeting people and discovering places.
I‘ve been! For a sports tournament. The city was spotless, I felt completely safe walking around alone, and everyone was very kind and helpful to us. I couldn‘t help comparing to San Francisco, where I‘ve been many times, and that city has big problems with many homeless, vulnerable people, and smells bad, and often I didn‘t feel so safe walking alone.
Thanks for taking us around this amazing city. The idea of all religions coming together is an appealing one as should all people in general. We are all born with a fundamental concept of good and bad, right and wrong and I think religion is just cultural wrapping for such beliefs.

Russia is such a beautiful country, I hope to visit some day. I pray that Ukraine and Russia are forced to negotiate an end to the current conflict, rather than fighting it out tooth and nail. Ukrainians don’t deserve to die and Russians don’t deserve to suffer from sanctions, both countries have such fascinating culture and rich history.
This looks like the Baltic states only a little more developed, but the sidewalks at some places look like they are from 1900's that reminds you are in Russia
it reminds me of medium size cities in canada, except there are more trees and more activity in canada .... both very cold .... i wouldn't want to visit kazan .... so many places in the old soviet union have a harsh gray empty cold barren feeling .... they seem to have no joy of living
No. They actually tried to do such thing in the 90s but after they realise they completely surrounded by Russia just like San-Marino with Italy - they abandoned the idea. Nobody wants to be an isolated "stan" country without Moscows dotation and economical preferences. The example of Central Asian break away states which population now is struggling with poverty and migrate to Russia for jobs - clearly showed that Tatarstan made a right decision to be an authonomy in Russia rather poor and war thorn "independent state". Also keep in mind that both Tatarstan and Crimea have Russian population and it comprise the majority and Crimea and nearly a half in Tatatrstan. We can argue endlessly about how it was happened(and also about Greeks by the way) but it is a fact. And nobody wants to turn its region into Bosnia 2.0. Russia is not China but it can supress separatism espessially after the 90s. We saw what happened with Yugoslavia, we saw what happened with us during the 90s. And we never let this happen again.
@@postgradsibstud9321 In the end russians will become a minority as one high russian priest prédicted. They have lower natality rate as central asians.
@@edenender The deal is not about majority/minority or natality rate. Even if Russian population is a minority like in neighbouring Chuvashia, the regions dont want to break the economical and political ties of the federation. We suffered enough during the 90s to understand this.Nobody won after collapse of USSR exonomically except Baltic states. All others - have a life standards worse than in Russia. Most of the population of break away states - migrating to Russia for jobs. Now we have dozens of regions without ethnic Russians at all. But they will not leave Russia even if we want them to do so. Being a region of Russia is 10 times better economically than being a break-away Central Asian state. Its almost the same as suggest Texas go back to Mexico.

I assume it’s too cold for plants and flowers when he filmed. Everyone is wearing stocking hats and coats..😊
