She has no idea what she's talking about though. When she said the red colour in the flag "represents Russian people," I was kinda shocked.

@@Neruhomist24 did they learn how tatars were stealing russian women and raping them? or how they were robbing small russian villages and killing civilians there with their kids? finally ivan IV stopped it, funny to see khohol here talking about languages, you do realise that when ukraine occupied crimea they banned all languages and made ukrainian main language there? rn crimea is back to russia and there are 3 official languages, tatar, russian and your fake khohol language all those 3 languages are equal in crimea
I live in Kazan. I would say it isn’t the third, but the second capital as it’s getting much more developed that Saint-Petersburg insanely fast. We’re now awaiting BRICS events and the city is just getting more and more beautiful on a daily basis. It’s also one of Russia’s tech capital (together with Innopolis).
Most enjoyable episode of Tatar celebration of one of their traditional festivities. Both the confluence of two rivers and multiple nations throughout time contribute to giving substance to true understanding, hospitality and friendship. More than blessings, this is an invitation to integrate into a diverse world based on acceptance as a one race with a common goal to reach the Light of Truth. The closer people are to their roots, the simpler Love manifests. Great work, Eli, in bringing a world closer to all.
The area is beautiful and very interesting food. It's nice to see tartar traditions. Thank you.
Wow... amazing video. I like their culture, so rich. Russia not only Moscow, but its very large country and diversity. I love it❤ I hope one day I can go there😊
That's very true!
Russia thinks it is a country, but it is actually a huge continent.
Russia thinks that it is just a nation, but in reality it is a great civilization.
And !
We actually have a moling pot of some kind here like in the US, Russians absolutly love everything about their neighbours (espesially food :D) I am living in a city of Tambov and my friends love my plov and samsa, and my ethnicity is Ukranian

What a great video! Very interesting how Russia is comprised of so many different cultures. And Kazan looks beautiful.
I have been in Kazań many times almost 18 years ago, I could cry bacause I would love to visit it again. I am a flight attendant and we used to spend there 3 and sometimes 4 days. What a wonderful place. Thanks for this wonderful video, dear Eli. Spassiba. May God bless you. Like always, kiss from Italy.
Always a pleasure getting to know about the Tatar culture from the very best Tatar tour guide! 🤗♥️👍 I love it when you speak the Tatar language and the food looks really tasty!
Couldn't agree more on the closure: travelling allows you to understand your native culture better too. Great piece of work, Eli, as usual... you made me want to visit Tatarstan now! 😊
I myself am half Tatar, but I have never been to Kazan, to my great shame. I hope to go there someday. My Mom’s family is not from Kazan, but from a place in the Ulyanovsk region called Staraya Kulatka. I’ve never been there either, but I also want to see my relatives who live there. I'm from Moscow and have seen very few places in my own country. Shame! :(
Can you please tell me about the music, what are the names of the songs?

I am Bulgarian and Kazan was the capital of the kingdom of one of our ancient tribes as you can tell by the name of the people Bulgars, another tribe founded my country in the Balkans.I would love to visit Tatarstan someday.
Tatars also called themselves Bulgar up until recent centuries. Chuvash and Tatars are the Turkic speaking Bulgars. Chuvash still speak Bulgar-Chuvash Turkic, Tatar switched to Kypchak Turkic. In Tatar Turkic there are still Bulgar Turkic phonological influence from Bulgar Turkic branch. Chuvash are loosing their language to Russian rapidly, even Tatars are loosing their language, although less than Chuvash.
Ancient Bulgarians have nothing to do with today's Bulgarians. They were an extinct Turkic people

Very unique culture and yes Tatars are well known for their traditions a world apart from other republics inside Russia it's very modern and clean all over , excellent destination Eli !!! I noticed an owl on you shoulder Eli , he was so calm rarely moved too bad you showed him for a brief instant 6:46 .
6:42 I like that she suddenly has an owl on her shoulder and offers no explanation.
Not the only video also.
That's a city and region i would like to visit. During Sabantuy.
Fantastic video.
Eli !
Lovely, thank you for really opening up a whole new old world which many of us have been deprived of any knowledge and truly enlighten. Cheers to you.
Beautiful culture. Thanks for sharing.
Eli: You will have 1 million subscribers by this time next year! I already wanted to visit Tatarstan 5 minutes into your video, then I heard your story about cats being revered there. Now I know I am going!
Your channel has it all. The history, the culture, the people, places, and food.👍🇷🇺
