Hey, I work at a rental equipment company,I just want to say, Dude your video is stellar for it's informative application of practice. Whatever your doing. I'm sure your doing it well. Very insightful. Great thanks from a Tylerrental employee.
I used to work at a truck wash where we had a 2 step system. Use the aluminum brightner which is diluted acid first and go from bottom to top in a sweeping motion. Then change the valves over to the soap side and use the same motion. Worked well on frames and unpolished aluminum. Just keep the acid off the glass.
Para los que se preocupan por el techo del tractor y el capó del mismo, recuerden que es una demostración, prueba de un producto. Se ve muy bien. Éxitos miles 🙏👍
I still would do a final wash with old fashion car Soap n wash mite, and extension brush. Especially the cab n hood with the nice finished paint. Those brushless soap is hard on clear coat, in my experience. Maybe it improved over the last 10 years
When I was a teenager , my Granddad and Dad owned a small trucking company, we had 8 semis truck. I had to wash all the trucks and trailers every weekend, our power washer ran off 220 volt and diesel Heat. We tried several scrub less soaps, the all seem to be hard on the clear coat. Especially on enamel base , it would leave a hays or make red truck have a pink hue over time. I actually think that stuff is harmful to clear coat.
Detergent technology has greatly improved over the years! We recently came out with a new 2nd Step soap called Grizzly that is absolutely game-changing. It's not polish safe but it is safe on metal and painted surfaces, including the clear coat. We use it in our company wash bay - we wash our delivery truck with and employees' wash their personal vehicles with it. The best way to make sure there is no haze or damage is to do the 2-Step process - if you only did a single step 'scrubless soap', it wouldn't neutral and could possibly cause issues with a lot of repeat use.
This is the touchless 2 step washing process, a little different than typical washing. It's usually a low pH presoak done bottom to top - not for cleaning but just applying the acid. Then a high pH detergent bottom to top, again not for cleaning but just covering. The 2 work together to neutralize the static bond that keeps road film on vehicles. Then rinse top to bottom, removing the soaps. In some cases it's top to bottom but specifically for fleets/road film and 2 stepping you want to cover without streaking - which can occur if you start at the top, especially on large vehicles like trucks, tractors, and tankers (vs a normal passenger car).
The only thing a sanitation operator needs to worry about when pressure washing a tractor are the differential breathing points which a professional tells viewers to plug before washing. Because water, flows inside and oil gets thick.
This video is more representative of just a general clean - mostly to show how 2 Step Washing works without brushing - we aren't a cleaning company, we're the manufacturer of the detergents!
For the prices they charge, I'll just stick to regular pressure washing lol. It's not show equipment, so it doesn't need to be sparkling clean when it's just going to get dirty soon as you roll it out again. This could be an option if you're cleaning equipment pre-sale though.
I sparay it. Soap it let it sit just misting it for about 20.min leting soap soak. Rinse high power hand rub. Heavy dirt and reapeat about one and a half hours to make them look mint
I watched this with a open mind. I believe washing can be beneficial. However, I do not wash my equipment any longer. I had lots of problems with water getting into things leading to expensive repairs.
This is an older video that uses a hot water pressure washer. For fleet washing, we generally recommend a pressure washer that is 4-5.5 gpm (gallons per minute), around 3000 PSI with hot water capability.

I tell you what...I wish it was that easy. There's alot of hidden spots that you didnt get under the cowling and many other hidden places. I've done combines that took me 10 hrs to properly clean the WHOLE thing, interior detail as well...but still.
This video is more representative of just a general clean and how 2 Step Washing works, we know detailing is definitely different and more time consuming!
Just use some hot water and its all done nicely. No need for soaps. Maybe once a month and thats it. Save your money and time or spend them somewhere else more benefitial. Its a tractor not a lady butt. Dont get paranoid.
Well it wasnt that bad to begin with so not much of a demo plus he shoulda had a nice set of stairs so he could start at the top and work down eh. Kidz!

Best thing to do right from the beginning is to just soak the entire vehicle. Don’t try to get any dirt off, just cover the entire vehicle in water/soap.

Once you're familiar with the 2 Step Process and the equipment being used, people rarely ever spray the ground when switching from 1 to 2, or from 2 to rinse as they have a much better sense of timing. When you're just getting used to it, or showing an example of switching from steps, it helps to see clearly when the swap happens.
Many times it depends on what the end user has available. This particular video was filmed during the winter in Michigan. It can be difficult to wash depending on how cold it is.
Why not make the soaps different colors? All this trouble to make it easier for the consumer-but not maximizing the product to make it better for the customer.
Our soaps are typically different colors within their original containers, especially as they are fairly concentrated. Once they are applied, it can be hard to see the faint difference due to how they are diluted they become once applied. When we focus on fleet washing, we tend to prefer less foam for an easier application and rinsing but that also means there is virtually no color upon application.

Why am I watching this? I do not own a tractor, I am not a farmer, yet I can't stop looking.
Think Before You Sle
For me it is the dirty to clean transformation, I enjoy watching that.
So clean!!! Pressure washers do the best job at cleaning dirty equipment and they are the best at it.

You guys do great work! We use hydro Chem products at my carwash and they work wonders.

It a clean green machine now you did a great job.👍
Nicely done very impressive
thank you for what you do and I agree. it looks great!
What about the top of the cab and the top of the engine cover? OOPS!
I still would do a final wash with old fashion car Soap n wash mite, and extension brush. Especially the cab n hood with the nice finished paint. Those brushless soap is hard on clear coat, in my experience. Maybe it improved over the last 10 years

Nice job
lOOKS VERY NICE.
You should looks up Cole the Corn star. He cleans stuff all the time and would like your product.
The looks like a cool system, how do you prevent water spots when it dries?
On big equipment I use a leaf blower immediately after rinsing. They have enough force to blow dry most items in a matter of mins.
i still saw a lot of dirt. plus the top of the cab didnt get washed. but i get the point. what did get washed looked great.
Every thing is clean except the roof and top of cab
Great job dear. 😀
Always top to bottom since it runs down the whole machine and works on the muck and lifts it up

Your commentary is good. I recon, you try for Radio or sports commentator etc.
I agree , #2 smells different from #1. Lol
Beware if #2 smells better than #1 there's something terribly wrong. Js
Damn good job!
Clean, other than the top and the top of the hood and the hitch were all the mud is. 😂
Nice video, Like !!!

Where can I get this 1 and 2 soap?
Show it when it dries !

U call that a lot of mud well don't come near my machines
More washing from outside there is some benefit,it is important to clean wash motor...
Keep the camera back and everything looks clean 😂😂😂
Cool
thats an outside job with correct ppe
What temperature do you call hot? Is around 60 degrees celcius alright?
Typically, our detergents are made to work best around 100-120F, which is 37-48C.
I watched this with a open mind. I believe washing can be beneficial. However, I do not wash my equipment any longer. I had lots of problems with water getting into things leading to expensive repairs.
Like what?? You have to use a pressure washer with a little common sense
Where did you purchase the gun with nozzle on the side
ive been washing machines for 2 years if anybody needs someone to wash their tractors or any farm equipment. HIRE ME
What make and model pressure washer was used in this video?
This is an older video that uses a hot water pressure washer. For fleet washing, we generally recommend a pressure washer that is 4-5.5 gpm (gallons per minute), around 3000 PSI with hot water capability.
Washing with pressured hot water only is same result and almost free
Why did you miss the top of the hood and the roof?
This video is more representative of just a general clean - mostly to show how 2 Step Washing works without brushing - we aren't a cleaning company, we're the manufacturer of the detergents!
Why you wash from the bottom up???...for me I think we should wash from the top down to the bottom..to save water soap and times
This is the touchless 2 step washing process, a little different than typical washing.

The first rule that should be respected is: Start at the top and end at the bottom !!!

Is that hot water?
This is with a hot water pressure washer but no other special equipment.
Kind washer?

What kind of pressure washer is it?
In this video, it was at our customer's location using an Electric Hot Water 4GPM, 3000PSI, Pressure Washer.
Well it wasnt that bad to begin with so not much of a demo plus he shoulda had a nice set of stairs so he could start at the top and work down eh. Kidz!

I am going into farming I grow up on a farm Years ago
How much the price of Tractor Wash?
We are not a washing service, we manufacture and provide the equipment and chemicals.
first?
Best thing to do right from the beginning is to just soak the entire vehicle. Don’t try to get any dirt off, just cover the entire vehicle in water/soap.
Now I don't want to climb in the tractor to use it, is too clean!
Heres a 1 step procedure for washing tractors,
1: just leave it its gonna get dirty anyway
Still dirty water coming off the wheels, did not wash top of hood or top of cab not a good wash in my opinion
This video is more representative of just a general clean - mostly to show how 2 Step Washing works without brushing - we aren't a cleaning company, we're the manufacturer of the detergents!
HEHE... The number two smells different.
You can spend over an hour just knocking the mud off
It's not rocket science. Pressure wash it twice.
👏👏👏👏👏🏆🏆
Buy a ladder for heaven sake
Dude spent more time spraying the floor than the machine?
Once you're familiar with the 2 Step Process and the equipment being used, people rarely ever spray the ground when switching from 1 to 2, or from 2 to rinse as they have a much better sense of timing. Why you don't washing the vehicle outside so mutch dirt
Many times it depends on what the end user has available. This particular video was filmed during the winter in Michigan. It can be difficult to wash depending on how cold it is.
Wait, you missed a spot!
Surprised you didn't wear eye protection.
Half of this job is using as hot-hot-water as your machine is possible of producing. And of course the soap.
We recommend our soaps to be used with hot water, but not "hot-hot". Our detergents are formulated to work best around 100-120F, which is 37-48C.
nettoyage de haut en bas pfffff

Dumb and idiot washing inside garage. Rule no 1, only clean vehicle can parking inside garage.
I guest the farmer must be so lazy to use this washing method
