- Crystal radio model "Mistery Cristal Radio".
It has the main coil mixed with the secondary coil. And it has two points where the antenna can be attached: one that gives more selectivity, and the stations are heard clearer (labeled S), and another that has greater semsibility and therefore the stations are heard with greater intensity (labeled B). It is named "Mystery" because the antena is not connected to ground, and because the selectivity change by changing the side whre it is attached to the primary coil.

tiene la bobina principal mezclada con la bobina secundaria. Y dos puntos donde conectar la antena: uno que da más selectividad y se oyen más claras las cadenas y otro qu tiene mayor semsibilidad y por tanto se oyen las cadenas con mayor intensidad.

Los misterios que dan nombre a esta radio son:
- ¿Cómo puede funcionar si la antena no está conectada a tierra?
- ¿Por qué cambia la selectividad conectando la antena a un extremo o al otro en la bobina primaria?

Well made radio.
You can make a crystal radio work without a ground. A loop antenna works and so will a dipole antenna. A single wire and ground just gets more signal for less wire in the antenna.

Por fin alguien que pone un esquema detallado y prueba que realmente funciona. Además tiene muy buena selectividad, cosa difícil en estas radios, y ha quedado chulísima.
I built one of these a few years ago.
I still have it and can honestly say it's the best crystal set I've built.
The tuning capacitor I pulled from an old stereo. The coil former I just rolled up some card. I use a long wire antenna and earth to the plumbing.
Probably the best improvement that could be made is use Litz wire instead of enamel copper.
