Then show me where in Lev 16 the scapegoat was slain as a sin offering.....
You cannot do either. The 1st goat, the one whose lot fell to the Lord, was Jesus and was offered as a sacrifice for sin. THAT'S I Peter 2:24. The other goat fell to Azazel and was led into the wilderness (NOT I Peter 2:24).
Until you can understand that both goats had the sins of Israel confessed over them; that one was slain for a sin offering, the other led away into the wilderness bearing those sins far away from God's people, You will never get it.
Perhaps you should learn how to speak Hebrew. The OT scriptures will then be completely different than what you have been taught from any English versions.....

Some people really need to grow up and stop copy and pasting absolute hearsay about Ellen White. It's called bearing false witness against your neighbor. If line upon line and principle upon principle isn't your cup of tea, then really you shouldn't even call yourself Christian. The last messages of mercy are the 3 Angel's messages of Revelation 14. I’ve come to disagree with the theology of the sanctuary in heaven because it makes Christ our judge yet the bible teaches we are our own judge. Also, the idea that God needs a building to make judgements makes him finite. Our creator doesn’t need a building when He lives and operates beyond human capacity which this theology places Him in.
But there IS a temple in heaven where God dwells. The heavenly ark of the covenant is there. (Ps 11:4; Rev 11:19, 15:5 among others)
And yes, God judges His people (all humanity in fact). He is the only one that can. Joel 3:12 is but one example. Have you now forsaken the 1st angel's message of Rev 14? The time of His judgement has come..... Completely different than the "Day of Judgement" mentioned numerous times in scripture. Forsaking the 1st angel's message will lead you to the 2nd. You will have no choice but to fall back into the errors of Catholicism. Which then leads to worshiping the beast and receiving his mark.....

And the abomination of desolation is not even mentioned in Dan 8. Verse 23 is Ancient Rome as shown by verses 11 and 25. The "latter time of their kingdom" is talking about the end of the Medo-Persian and Grecian empires as world ruling nations when Rome came.
