I agree …perfect bike.Did 700 km plus from Holland to Ragley Hall..no sweat, full camping gear and I am 66 years old 6 ft 3 93 kg…..road up with my brother in law on his gs and he was only slightly annoying with the fuel stops I needed😂
Totally agree with you. I rode up from near Brighton to the LWA on my 300 Rally and it just purred along up the motorways and then I did a 60 mile trip around Derbyshire doing 6 or 7 trails and it was all done on the standard tyres and suspension. One thing I have learned though is that on the trails I do need to upgrade the suspension and tyres though 👍🏻
That's a fair trip from Brighton. its a fantastic bike on all roads. I did the first year on the stock tyres and suspension, taking in the peak district lanes. I thought the bike handled them all well. but you will see a massive improvement on the upgrades. Thanks for your comments. Mike
@@RAD_RIDERS_UK 7 plus hours worth of trip but it was worth every mile. Re the suspension I’m planning to book it in with Rally Raid at some point next year and let them work there magic on her. Now I know she’s a keeper I don’t mind the spend if that makes sense 👍🏻
Agreed- my riding clan are on Teneres, 790's and 890's. I go where they go. Been up to Canada and several of the western states. At 58 it's the last bike I need.
Great vid again, I’ve been itching to pull the trigger on a 300l but I was thinking of hanging on until Christmas time to see if there’s any deals about ( I don’t know if it works like that in the motorcycle sales industry lol)
Out here in the US I paid a small mark up, a couple weeks after i purchased (about 4 months after pre orderibg) i saw kitted out used 300s ranging from 1000 to 2000 USD cheaper.. Still happy with the purchase though honestly
@@JayBe443 I’m a bit in that boat atm. It’s £5500 ish for a new one and now I’m seeing 1 year old models with 3000k miles but loads of extras for £1000 cheaper. Don’t know which way to go. How many miles is considered higher miles for a 300cc engine ?
I've had the 300 Rally for 2 years and it has been flawless. Silly off-road trails to highways. I'm looking sideways at a couple of new 450 adventure models from other brands.. But deep down I know Honda is the best choice 😬 It has been flawless, will do genuine enduro off road and dealers are easy to find.
I have also been looking at said 450s you mention (we know who they are 😊). But I’m having way too much fun on my 300L. Seriously it can do 75% of the black trails I do on my Beta X trainer, with the added bonus I can ride it on the Highway to get there (110 KPH speed limit here in Australia ‘no problem at all’).. Liked and Subbed 👍
Thanks, I wanted to take off a few decals from the new 300L I just got and could see yours to judge what ones I wanted to take off and how cool the bike looks without the factory decals...lol
The secret in Aus was to put a deposit at one dealer and leave your number at another dealer for when people change their minds 😅 I went from a 8 month wait at one dealer, to 4 weeks.

Fair play to you, that's a great ride and experience. I know what you mean about the fuel stops though lol. Ride safe buddy

I'm with you my friend. at 58 myself, I needed something light and go anywhere, I don't regret buying the CRF at all
Great video. Beautiful scenery. I'm enjoying my 300l as well 🤘👌
Many thanks for your comments. Enjoy your 300L. ride safe
Ive had the 250 version for some years, great bike..YSS are ok btw..new sub 👍
Thanks for the sub! And appreciate you leaving your comments. Cheers Mike

Just keep your eyes out for a Christmas deal. I’m sure dealers are quiet around December and they still have target to meet. Good luck. Cheers Mick

@@Jacko1980 not sure, iev heard plenty of people have it over 20,000. Maintenence is at 8,000mi intervals so theres that to consider.

Interesting comments. I've just bought a Himalayan 450 for the bigger trips. However its the CRF that's the best all rounder for my style of riding

@@RAD_RIDERS_UK So far i took the one off that was above the headlight, thanks for those pressure washes...lol
Been waiting on an ls, going on two years now.
Many thanks for taking the time to add your comments, Really appreciate it. Cheers Mike

Great vid again but where's the screen gone?
Many thanks. I decided to strip the bike back and took off the panniers and the screen. Cheers Mick.
No, voge 300 far better and cheaper
The Voge 300 Rally is a brilliant bike for the money. My mate has one and he highly recommends it. But for me, its the Honda CRF.
