Great video. Just fyi if you dont known the bolt release has a dual function. If your loaded and press the back of the bolt release the rounds in the tube will eject through the bottom so you dont have to chamber to eject. I thought this was really cool and much safer than traditional styles.
This video is under ratted good job man! I'm also considering the Masai Mara bottomland bronze, I don't clean my gun for the season. As a waterfowl hunter myself these guns get banged up, drop in mud and rain, so the ability to dismantle the whole gun in the blind with no tools to clean that big chunk of mud seems very good for me. You're asking for chokes Trulock apparently makes em for the Retays.
Tru-Lock chokes makes chokes for that super shotgun. I am getting a waterfowl model with a 26 inch 3 1/2 with cera-kote receiver and barrel in Bottomland Bronze. Great video presentation!!!
So after 3 years or so, could you tell me your honest opinion in the Retay? I think it's sweet and just getting into waterfowling, kinda of want an all purpose shotgun. From waterfowling, dove, and to turkey hunts. Thanks
Great video. I've owned 4 Benellis and the Benelli click is real and frustrating. I upland hunt a lot and all you have to do is bump the bolt on a tree or shrub or even a cattail and the bolt will push back just a fraction and there you have another "click."
For the option you get with retay over benelli at the price. The retay masai mara is still better choice and now with the 20 coming out and gordion gun at a cheaper rice for the same quality. Retay is still the choice. Alot of my friends couldn't afford benelli but bought a retay.
M2s and Montefeltros are right around the 1k price range. Benelli quality is second to none. I don’t get the Retay hype. In a few years, If their prices fall, I will understand but not right now.
KsTimber Ghost I have a Montefeltro and a Stoeger M3000. Both great guns but both have the “click.” Benelli fixed it on the SBE3 and the Ethos. All Retays are fixed. The guy who started the company used to work at Benelli. They are replicas in a way. Fantastic guns. If you get the Walnut guns, the Walnut is better than Benelli too. Legit guns. Craftsmanship is top notch. If the Brits made these, you could add a thousand bucks to all of them, LOL.
Kornholeeoo I’ve had a SBE2 going on ten years with zero issues. Never experienced the “click” nor has anyone in my family. Family has been running Benelli’s since the late 80s.

I have the same one on order. Cant wait
Just Shoot Did you end up picking up a Retay
cardinalcrazy09 How do you like yours?
Loved the review and your enthusiasm! Nicely done.. ordering one now in 20 gauge, black, 28 inch barrel.

I still shoot it and own the 20 ga. Version and a gordion. My masai mara is now cerekoted and lazer engraving. I will never get rid of it.

Thank you
Hello sir..
How the prefomance?..
Can shot ⅗?
Did yours come with the enhanced safety from the factory?
Yes, but I swap it out for the new style safty.
@@nstrba12 where did you get the new style safety?
From retay . They went away from the big safety to standard safty
Is that the 3” or 3.5” model
It is the 3", but both function the same.
If you use TSS you'll never need 3.5 " .
TRULOCK, CARELSON JEBS AND PATTERN MASTER MAKE CHOKES FOR THEM AS WELL.
What you think is better Retay or ATA ?
I would go retay 100%
@@nstrba12 Thank you but would you explain why
Does it shoot magnum ?
Yes
900/1+k a blue collar gun? Might as well buy a Benelli.

Why it preforms better has more bells an whistles no click an yo save on average 700.00 and you get cerakote finish .
