Lol, I am starting to wish I really had built that Tesla Death Ray… Then again, I doubt even a second nuclear apocalypse would be enough to stop Preston, I am sure he would find ways to mark maps from beyond the grave! 🤣
Now I know you prioritize using place everywhere in your build, but I was wondering. There is an Xbox mod called place anywhere and I wanted to know if you possibly think that could be a substitute if you’ve ever worked with it. I know it doesn’t work as fluently as this, but I was just wondering your opinion. It’s basically all I have to work with.
I have not used it myself (can’t really as I don’t own an Xbox or any consoles😔) but feel it’s a very suitable substitute and would allow you to do almost everything I show in the vids. From what I have seen Play Anywhere has most of Place Everywhere’s core features, and is just missing the ability to disable the workshop timeout and it’s Extra Object Selection mode which allows you to move and use some of the pre-existing settlement objects. If I only had an Xbox to play the game I would certainly be using it, and is definitely better than being limited to the games vanilla mechanics and building glitches 👍.
@@FiddleflapsVids OK it’s been a while since I’ve commented but since then I’ve gotten a couple of mods and used place anywhere and it’s actually a very good substitute. I have to get used to the workshop time out by other than that it’s pretty good. Also, I was able to get a USO integrated mod so I could craft vehicles and many other structures which is also very good.
They are features of the Place Everywhere mod - www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424 Using the arrow keys on the numpad allows me to shift objects in various directions, and the ‘movement step’ messages appear when I either increase or decrease the distance the objects are shifted.
You are a superb builder. I enjoy watching and learning. Thank you!
Awesome to hear you are enjoying the vids - many thanks! 😁👍
@@FiddleflapsVids You're welcome!
That barn is *chef kiss*
I don’t use the barn pieces that often so had fun building this, glad you liked it! 😁
That’s a nice barn General but I’ve got word of another settlement that needs your help.

Question how do you not get the 5 second exit thing?
It's a feature of the Place Everywhere mod and is turned on or off using the F5 key 👍.
How do you move the doors and stuff down a bitand what does that movement speed mean?
