That’s the same thing I was thinking lol as I was watching this. Half way through it I said to myself, “now watch he have some kind of course to sell.” Bro you missed the wave 1 year ago. All the gullible people have been scammed already. He might find some idiots to buy it but it’s not goin to be many. Didn’t show a video of him actually doing anything just had a story to tell. The Dodge vans have the worst record for maintenance costs from talking to other drivers and reading posts online. The Ford Transits have their issues, and Mercedes have high costs due to their parts are expensive and there could be delays in repairs since they come from Europe, and the dealerships are less numerous. The only way to overcome these issues is driving less empty miles and staying on the road for 3 weeks or more at a time.
Minus 30 percent for taxes... take out another 3 to 4k for insurance, gas, food and drinks breakfast lunch dinner snacks, showers, maintance, van note, possible lodging, breakdowns, tolls, tickets, etc leaves you with a whopping 3 to 4k. Not bad

Never work hourly because you could’ve made more money negotiating a up front amount to take the load from point a to point b. Just saying..
It was only 10 miles down the road and they let me use their 26foot box trucks so hourly made more sense.

Also yea i agree with alot of the comments.... using your cousin to get a contact to get 4k is not realistic for most drivers and you should feel bad for trying to make it seem like 10k a month first month is a legit thing. Just because you got lucky with the cousin thing and than GOT LUCKY AGAIN with the company having available box trucks... does not make you good... just make you 1. lucky and 2. right place righ time that wont happen again.

What are the upfront cost to start in the beginning?
Really just the cost of the van, the llc is under $100. Id say you can start for anywhere from 5k-12k

Definitely got lucky, when i was doing just local average was 6-7 a month, doing otr was 7-8 then sometimes ten but it depended on the direct client work. The market is pretty bad now so I haven’t done much

Their property to operate the 26 foot box truck that doesn’t count as your cargo van making the money that’s using someone else’s equipment. Your cargo van business means your van hauling freight in that vehicle that’s a different side gig you’re talking about.

I’m in the business as well. You can do it if you know ppl or work directly with shippers/brokers or just on the road non stop for 25-30 days out the month. He prob not lying. The thing that caught me off guard was $150 for a 15 minutes phone call. Now that’s crazy ngl
