60 years ago my grand mother used old calendars to make a flip book for me she cut pictures from one calendar and pasted to the back of another so as I turned the pages I would have pictures on both sides to look at. I cherish it to this day. I really enjoyed this video. Your talent, enthusiasm and dedication to journaling is inspiring to so many. Thank you so much.

I got a calander that had porclin dolls for each month. I used a round weaver as a frame for on if the doll pics. I had intended to teach her how to weave, but didn't see her for a while as she was living with her dad and he rarely let her visit with me. Now she lives with her mom (my granddaughter) but is no longer interested in learning to weave. The pic hangs at the window in my room and yesterday the 6 yr old was really looking at that pic with interest. I told her that I have lots more of them. I'm sure that we will be making something from them for her. They would be perfect in a little girls journal

Oh, my -- They are doing Wicked here in summer stock, and I'm going to audition for the part of Elphaba because they will not have to use any green makeup on me -- I am pea green w/ envy over those gorgeous laces and doilies -- I don't think I could have given them up -- I didn't see your video. They are gorgeous !!! What a wonderful way of saving them so you can go back and visit them. Also, sorry about your husband's aunt. My father died when I was 21 -- it was devastating, and I didn't go to his viewing, either. That was 41 years ago and I still don't regret it. Rachel what a beautiful job with the happy mail. Pages are beautiful. Much sympathy for your family, I too don’t like viewing. I was born and raised in New York in a Italian family and back than they would have 3 day viewing. So I really respect people who don’t do that. Hope the rest of your weekend will be joyful.

Hi, it was a great inspirational tutorial where you can use lot of things. Only it was off of cámara n couldn’t see well the whole process but beside that it was good. Thanks for sharing!!
My condolences as well. My mum’s sister passed away just last week. She lived a ways away so hadn’t been together in a long time. A very poignant time for your mother in law, she must miss her sister.
I was very interested to see what you are doing with your treasures . You must pencil in a price per yard (shillings and pence) next to the samples.
Not to tell you your business but the lace panels- white with the pink flowers /green leaves in the centre look very much like they belong with Medieval Mirage papers. Just sayin’.
