Good job . Although you made that look easy I could hear you was out of puff at the end . Job satisfaction is instant , I think that is why it’s addictive to watch . Thanks buddy
I need to cut the first few meters off as it shredded part of the cover on the very 1st job I did - I'm glad I only paid a 1/3rd of what it actually costs.
I'm in the US and am admittedly ignorant of "jetting the drain". Sincere curiosity question: Would it seem prudent to remove the clog rather than forcing it further down the pipe? Again, this is *my* ignorance talking.

I certainly was a little puffed, great to see you enjoy watching us drain unblockers from down under.
Besides Gavin & Ollie, now I have you to watch!!!! Good job, Shane
Thanks Jessica, I'll do my best to keep those videos coming.
It's always a good day when a new Drainspotter video comes out! ❤
Heyee great work glad to have helped loved to see the miracle unfold
Good Saturday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset in the UK
Great rig you've got now! 👍🏼 I enjoyed the video, as usual.
experience! great video, love the stormwaters 💙💚
Good job brother.
Nice job and draining sweet good job
Just found your channel. Subscribed and currently watching your older videos. :)
Please try to hold your camera still! Some of us get nauseated from jerky camera movements. Great video!👍😊🧤🔦
Hi Suzanne. Really sorry about that, thought I'd try using the head mount & forgot how much using the camera on you head accentuates movement.
Thats a pretty sweet looking rig you got there
Love the pickup truck 😎
Thanks, I'm sure Booger will appreciate the love. He's probably my favorite vehicle I have ever owned.
Wooohoooo 1982 Hilux what a Leeeeeeeegend...
Close Douglas, its an 8, diesel swapped, 5-speed with power steering & yip, you can't beat a Hilux, especially if Crumpy's behind the wheel.
Good go DS! That was a lot of storm water.
Hi Big T. We had some heavy rain over the weekend that's for sure.
Hello!!! I' ve missed your videos 👋👋👍👍
Nice rig 👊
Thanks 👍
good
Nice...👍.
This took me a while because that demolition work has taken place since the last time I was there. Weir House!
I'm looking forward to seeing what they replace the building with.
Please hold it still!
Awesome! May I ask what year your truck is? It's fantastic!
Hi Shane. Its a 1981 Toyota Hilux. Best truck I have ever owed with a bonus that it actually goes up in value each year.
Nice Job! Do you have to be licensed to jet drains in NZ?
Not in NZ as you are not laying drains, but it helps.
Lucky you, having such content.. I still have to wait a bit .. By the way ,did I see your hose being damaged?.. 3:37

@@mrdrains2088 Yes, I know, I saw that you have repair tools. You showed that once.. 👍
Great job as usual 😉👍

Jetting blasts water that cuts/breaks up what’s blocking the drain eg grease, tree roots, wet wipes
The blockage was in the drain downstream of the sump outlet pipe so it had to be cleared by either jetting or other form of mechanical clearing.
To answer your question, jetting uses a powerful spray of water that breaks up a clog, it doesn't move the clog itself. Hope that helped!
Are you the NZ version of Sydney's Drain Addict? He makes great videos.
Haha, wouldn't that be a treat, but with only around 1% of his subs, I'm well off the pace.
@@mrdrains2088 you’ll get there x
Sorry I can’t stay because of the camera person!
Would have gone down much faster if you had taken the grate out. It impeded the formation of the whirlpool.
The grate was in the up position & it would have made bugger all different if it was pulled out.
HOWARD
The camera darting about is annoying
Yip, apologies for that. I was trying it using a head strap & forgot how much a camera picks up head movement.
That's why your guys are storm drains are all messed up because you guys don't put grates over your pipes
Our storm drains do have grates, otherwise people would fall in & injure themselves.
Your camera moving badly
Bad camera work
I hear ya. I head mounted it & forgot how much head movement can make the camera move around too fast.
Jerky camera makes me puke. Go slow, please!
Will do.
Good job!!! I DOCUMENT FLOOD CONTROL IN LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA ON MY CHANNEL!!!
