Prime Radahn does still have many attacks that you can't normally counter, but if you're playing a 70 int mage you can use rennalas or rannis moon spell to destroy radahns meteor projectiles and deal damage to him. I've heard Intelligence is kinda bad in the DLC tho so even I didnt know this until recently

It's funny, how in every ranking of difficult bosses, the Orphan is ranked so high, because I find him a lot easier than the Nameless King and waaaaaay easier than Darkflame Friede.
Hardest DLC bosses for me: 10. Darkeater Midir 9. Black Dragon Kalameet 8. Commander Gaius (mainly because of that one stupid charge move) 7. Fume Knight (DS2’s jank makes this fight much harder than it has to be) 6. Bayle the Dread 5. Messmer the Impaler 4. Lawrence the First Vicar 3. Rellana Twin Moon Knight (DLC’s first big roadblock, and she’s a HUGE roadblock) 2. Sister Friede 1. Promised Consort Radahn (hardest boss I’ve ever faced and hardest soulsborne boss no question)
Dude I hated Midir and would always resort to cheesing him but I suffered through the Watchdog of the Old Lords in the BB cursed chalice dungeons for hours and when I went back to Midir on another playthrough, I ended up realizing that he was a literal moveset copy paste of the prior boss. Now I can murk him on command. Amazing feeling.
I didn't realize that the grab from miquella/radahn actually did anything, I didn't know if it was bugged or something, but I assumed it was a problem with my game cause I hadn't heard anyone else talking about it, I guess I've never gotten grabbed more than once in an attempt.
PC Radahn legitimately made me want to scream, you had a decent movement (minus the cross the slash) and the instead of just expanding it for phase 2, they duct taped stunlocking light beams to the end of each of his hitboxes. I hope From really doesn't do anything like that again, it geniunely felt like they were trying too hard to kill you.
Honestly I think Radahn is the cheapest bullcrap boss fromsoft has ever made. They’ve made some intense bosses before but they were all fair and fun to fight. Radahn on the other hand is just a simple clusterfuck, they just thought “who cares if he’s well designed or fun, just make him jank hard and expand his hit boxes dark souls 2 style times 5”

I haven't managed to defeat Blackflame Friede yet. The best I can do is reduce her health to the word "Black". With Midir, I gave up after 120 tries. I only managed to reduce half his health. Maybe I need to raise vigor (mine only 20 then grinded to 25).
The first time I ever fought Orphan of Kos, I beat him down to his last hit or 2 and was like “He’s not hard. What are people talking about?” Then over 150 times later 😂 I got lucky that first time. He is definitely one of the hardest.
How long can you sustain a channel with only lists relating to from software games? I don't know but I'm here for it. Curios if he'll start dipping into Kings Field at some point.
idk why but i think gael is way easier than his placement. maybe its because i have endlessly watched his fight before this since he is my favorite boss of all time, but i did the same with friede and midir and they took me way more time. great video though

if you play on easy mode (which is making a really high poise/hp/strength build p much) and use guard counters and some kind of really heavy weapon midra sort of turns into a joke. the putrescent knight is what pushed me to this build originally

I was going to play DS3 for the first time after completing my ER NG+7 run, and you just made my expectations really low.
