    Miss Emma and Teresa show us how to make Aunt Judy’s Strawberry-Tomato Jelly!
    Memaw Dixie shows us her porch garden and how she sets up to can outside. Then, she puts a spin on the recipe and makes Cherry-Tomato Jelly.
    Aunt Cindy is busy making tomato juice.
    Charlie and Forrest get to taste test the masterpieces.

    I never thought about adding strawberries or cherries that sounds good I’ve always just added vanilla lemon juice sugar.

    A friend of mama’s made tomato jelly but it was like jam. It didn’t have any jello in it. Interesting! Y’all are always filled w adventure.

    I made your recipe how long does it take to set up I made it this evening and it’s almost 1:00 in the morning ?

      It will set up after it cools. Mine was the next day. I hope you like it. I put mine in ice cream too lol

      I hope your jelly or jam set up. At his been so hot and humid it seems like it is taking a little longer. But mine set up the next day. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching

    Do you water bath to be shelf stable.?

      You can water bath for 10 min.
      Granny just flips hers and as long as the lids are sealed…they are good to go.

    4 tomatoes is pretty vague.
    How many cups of tomatoes is that?

      Around the 11 minute mark, Memaw Dixie uses 5 cups of tomatoes in her recipe.
