I know this is a long one folks, but i had so much fun with the food that I didn't want to cut any content, and it kinda turned into a mukbang! So, whether you watch 2 minutes or the full 25, I really appreciate it. Please be respectful in the comments, and leave any political bias at the door...As with all my videos, this is just intended as a piece of entertainment, and the mini-eulogy at the start is just my way of paying some respect to those that sacrificed so much in both world wars; regardless of allegiance, creed or caste. It's intentions are sincere and without bias or the intention to cause any offence. The white poppy overlaid in the bottom left corner articulates respect for those who gave service, while also exalting values of pacifism in the hopes to avoid any similar tragedies in future.
BeardMeatsFood Honestly, I think you won this. Personally I don't think the candies or condiments should be included, but that's just me🤗 Job well done!
I think this one is one of my all-time favourite BeardMeatsFood. Great video like always we here in Canada also celebrate remembrance day on November 11. We usually wear a red poppy flower during the month. It warms my heart to see that intro especially in todays generations where they have forgotten how much sacrifices our previous generations went through for us to enjoy what we have now. Thank you
I’m watching this today, over 4yrs since you published it and as a former British soldier I have to say well done. My ration packs were in 1990 so they have definitely changed for the better it seems. Also, they are full of starch as the military don’t want soldiers crapping their pants instead of fighting so well done, however how long before you pooped afterwards…..lol. Also thank you for the comments at the start. We all gave a promise to give our lives if necessary for the country we loved.
One of my Ukrainian cousins joined the AFU, he really liked just about all British stuff, he liked the NEEd and the French ones, I quickly schooled him on frogs legs and snails lol. He really liked our uniform and kit, particularly the summer uniform. He spends about a month of extra training a couple of months ago trying to buy it at the ex army stores\used armed forces shop things in the base. I said why didn't you mention it? There's a shop that before my mobility got white would be in walking distance lol. Just under £100 later he has plenty. I did feel a bit thick in the shop showing her a screenshot of the labels and knowing bigger all, but she was very nice & very helpful. It does amuse them when UK NEEd say things like biscuit oat, or bread brown
Also thinking if good they often find uninvited visitors without passports and often they're starving, thirsy, freezing in the cold weather, so they end up giving them MREs, which are hundreds of times better than they are given, I think it's better to be unlucky and not get one lol. My cousin's boss, I think he's called a commander will let them go fishing if they're in the right environment and not going to be sitting ducks, they've had to share that with the neighbouring visitors too.
@@deadzio that makes no sense😂😂😂😂 you are telling me that we heat ice cream? Na man, pur body takes it heat or warm but our own temperature will cold or warm the food thats it. Like a fridge but warmer
Fair play to you buddy! I currently serve in the Royal Navy and the RatPacks aren't always the best, you dipped in with the ones you got. Big respect for you right now!
I agree.. I don't like many of them tbh.. I'm in the Army currently.. if we go on excersize we tend to stock up on like super noodles and wraps incase we don't like the ones we get haha, like a backup plan 😂😂

Got so much respect for you making a video about this. RIP to all those soldiers. I lost my nephew last year while he was in Syria. It’s so nice to see you making a video about such a life changing event. Great content keep it up 😊
we used to get a Yorkie bar too, that said "not for civvies" on the wrapper (for those that don't know, Yorkie did an advertisement campaign with the tag line "not for girls")
Hi Adam, this is a great video! I'm currently in the Royal Air Force and I struggled to stomach some of the food in the rat packs warm, never mind cold! Fair play to you mate!
Dude, what a heartfelt and articulate introduction. You are by far one of the most entertaining you tuber. Your content, including your dialogue, is ever improving and amazing. Good luck to everything you want to do.
Huge respect to you Adam for mentioning and doing a tribute for the War Heroes who gave up their wellbeing to ensure that we are here today. I donate for a Poppy every year and do my 2 minutes silence to pay my respects. Thanks again for the awesome content. Love your long videos. They are in depth and not sped up too much. Which is what makes them my favourite videos! 🙂 #beardarmy

It is 3 years too late, but in response to @22:10 nearly everyone i knew while in the military, granted it was 25+ years ago, did the one bucket meal. Just open everything and mix to combine. Its not about the flavor but the ease of eating it all. Keep at it tho!!
The BBQ peanuts, fruit pouches and rice pudding gets me through! Little tip if you ever do it again, the hot chocolate (cold chocolate) you made goes really well with the muesli!

This was really fun to watch. As a USMC combat Vet. I've enjoyed my fair share of constipation inducing packages of food. It would be awesome to see you try US MRE's in the same format. the 1 minute, no water, cracker challenge pays a case of beer. Never seen a human win that one before.
Beeeaaaard you beast! Nice touch there 👏 😁 those packs look gourmet compaired to the ones we had bk in the day! Boiled sweets...kendal mint cake ....stew....custard....im surprised you ate them as cold as that! Lol good effort...keep em commin!
I did ROTC training once here in the US with my ski team. It sucked, but the best part of the day was getting our MRE's. Surprisingly good and although some came with packs to warm them up I just enjoyed mine cold. quickest 2,000 calories I've ever eaten.
i actually made a mouth open smile when i saw this particular video, as i've done something similar in the past. i obviously didn't eat all of them in one go, but i did spend an entire month cataloguing and reviewing foreign field rations, so i thought i'd get a kick out of this. and i did!
I would call that a win - Thank you for doing this on Remembrance Sunday, my Brother, Dad and Grandad all served in the forces, thanks for remembering them.

MRE’s are the American rations with the chemical heaters, the British ones are ORP’s operational ration packs. Part of a British soldiers equipment is a small hexamine stove, so they heat them on that, in water that’s usually then used to make tea.

The yorkie bars were the best bit of a rat pack till they were taken out. Screech can suck a bag if dicks though, Awful stuff
