These aren't insults, these are aural pieces of art, shards of sharp words that cut like no other can. They are the most beautiful things I have ever heard.
I think it’s interesting that the series started with Jonah having a good insult and they quickly took away his ability to give good insults. I also wonder if the physical insults like congressman no jaw and Paddington Bear-looking MFer stuck with the actors.
I worked with the 'Pol Pot of Pie Charts' - even Death by Powerpoint lets you join letters to form obscenities while they drone on, but the pie chart is a special kind of hell.
Hi, I just listened for the first time and really enjoyed your episode. I think VPR will be fine without Ariana if they have another season. I just don't see a path forward for VPR. Production ignored so many stories to either protect their golden boys or focus on the scandal and its aftermath. Production ignored Katie's storyline of leaving a marriage were she wasn't being respected and was constantly mistreated and gaslit, they ignored Lala's storyline of learning she was married to a very shady man and what she needed to do to escape the marriage, they ignored Ariana's storyline of betrayal and how she moved when the hurt is that deep. Now we are left with Schwartz who acts like a tool, continues to use women and doesn't get how to be an adult, Sandavol who refuses to accept any responsibility for the his actions, constantly throws people under the bus, dredges up ancient history and is a man child, and Brock who mocks and pressures Scheana to just get over her post partum OCD and anxiety. What I think VPR needs is new Production that doesn't promote and require the female cast to accept toxic male behaviors, and they need to get rid of Schwartz and Sandavol. Which leaves us with a show miss 3 of their main cast and no storyoines for the people remaining because they ignored they good storylines for years. And without telling the story of Katie and Lala ending their marriages from their point of view and without properly exploring and telling Scheana's story of working through crippling anxiety and post partum how do we jump into those stories now? I think Ariana is correct, but Lala and Scheana are wrong about it being her fault that VPR died, the fault all lies on Production's shoulders for focusing on stupid men needing to be constantly forgiven for cheating, being bad partners and acting like juveniles.
I always thought Selina's dressing down of Gary was a bridge too far...yes, he's an unrepentent sycophant; yes, he's a backstabbing, effete wanker; yes, he has very little relevance to anything outside sanitizing Selina's tweezers, but, for the most part, he was a friend when she needed one. I thought Tony Hale did an amazing job with his reaction in that scene. This show had such amazing writing, but, sometimes, it was so mean-spirited that even the humor was hard to find. The real humor is that these people have squatted in D.C. for as long as there has been a D.C.
If only we could have such polite and civil political discourse these days. Unfortunately Trump and his gang of bum-lickers have ushered in an even worse standard of behaviour.
Julia's delivery of "Croissant" in that accent was genius
"Selina Mehh" is such a simple yet sharp insult 😂
kills me
Voldamyer 😂
"do you enjoy sex? do you like to travel? then f**k off."
I loved this show and missed that? how?
How could u miss all the gifs of it all over the internet is what I don’t understand 😂
"You're like an early draft of a man"
"you let that unstable piece of human scaffolding into your house?" gets me every time
all the insults towards Jonah are savage and hilarious
"Jonah with money. It's like if Hitler could fly." I YELLED
I used to think this show was embellishing stories of actual political figures. I now know it's a documentary.
“It’s bigger than your mom‘s womb and you were in there till you were 15”
So fuckin good 😂😂
Bless Sue. I had to pause because I laughed so hard.
"You're not even your Mom's favorite Jonah, Jonah." So good!
All time favorite 😂
its like these character used up all their brain intelligence to invent creative insult instead of politic strategy...
If you look at modern american politics, its pretty much same thing . Only difference is that the insults in veep are WAY better.
Kinda like some real presidents
"Brain intelligence"?
@@user-kj9oz7lb8s Thank you for saying it.
@@user-kj9oz7lb8s Yup. There's ass intelligence too. Just so you know.
"I don't have time to ignore you" is one of my favorite lines ever
the cloud botherer is hilarious lol.
My favorite is “dont give me that quaker in a titty bar look, seriously, dont” 😂😂 now im curious what got dropped in that writers room
I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard
"like your mother, it has been loved and taken care of by some other guys"
“They called you goofy smile” kills me every time
And her losing her smile is killer.
Amy's meltdown was freaking epic.
I remember laughing my ass off when Dan calls Jonas car a "Fucking Minecraft piece of shit"
The only flaw in this show is that the insults were so rapid fire it was hard to hear them all....Hard to stop laughing...
All the more reason to rewatch it
"Gay Irish Fireman!"
“Don’t you patronize me with your no-jaw!” 😂😂😂😂
That’s my all time favorite along with I know how to give a mother Fking speech, lol 😂 I’m editing so the YT police won’t get mad.
“Skyscraper shit has arrived.”
That is dark 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The writers of the insults in this show deserve a spot in heaven
"Unstable piece of human scaffolding." 😂
There was no way the cast handled these scripts with bare hands without getting paper cuts
It's like West Wing but as written by the music teacher from Whiplash
“You gay Irish fireman” is my most favorite.
"Well, it's bigger than your mother's womb and you were there till you were fifteen"
"How come you only type with two fingers!? You're not a sloth!"
It's nice to see Dr. House clean-shaven and in a nice suit.
And calling someone a nazi doctor.
He's a stand-in for Peter Capaldi. _In the Thick of It_ took 10 years off Capaldi's life from the stress of playing Malcolm Tucker.
And still acerbic as ever.
Didn't mention Lupus once.
Will is actually played by George Santos!
world’s largest single celled organism 😭
To this day this is one of the funniest and best shows I have ever seen. Miss the heck out of it.
You can really see the relation of The Thick of It to Veep to Succession.
“I gotta take a giant wiz”
“It’s like if dogs could talk”
Absolutely killed me
I regularly use the "if dogs could talk" on my nephews/friends lol
These aren't insults, these are aural pieces of art, shards of sharp words that cut like no other can. They are the most beautiful things I have ever heard.
❤ Thank You for posting this.
It’s been reuploaded! The best mix! Thank you!
Thank you for this! GOLD.
"Bring me my cerise-colored binder, Jonah" ⚰
Omg i have never watched this show , and now i must
You'll love it.
The savagery is magnificent.
“It’s larger than your mother’s womb and you’ve been in there for 15 years” is my favorite. Got to love Sue!
The last clip was just the writers taking the opportunity to show off. I was cackling the entire time 😂
“Kent majored in Fortune Cookies” 😂😂😂😂
4:02 My all time favorite insult- “Go shit yourself long tall Sally”
"hey dobby the house elf"
BRILLIANT WRITING
I love the dildo/croissant analogy: "It doesnt do the job, and it leaves a FUCKING MESS!" LOL
What I like about this is I can’t tell what party each one is. They are all ruthless.
Especially when they're trying to figure out what their stance should be on an issue for election season
@@yourreward yeah sadly that’s like real life.
I Can't get enough of these😂😂
Time for a VEEP rewatch
I think it’s interesting that the series started with Jonah having a good insult and they quickly took away his ability to give good insults.

Telling everyone this is the original succession
I miss this show.
Dobby the house elf 😂
I miss this show so much 😂
"She sounds like an underwater Bob Dylan" 😂
"Kindergarten for cyber brats" 😂
Finally I remember trying to find clips of this to share with friends and could never find any. Could you please make a McLintock comp next.
Veep was the greatest experience of my life
How did I miss this show? 😂
It is worth watching....so, so good!
"Congressman No Jaw!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant
Brilliant stuff ❤
My favourite series of all time
So many great lines, so few episodes.
I worked with the 'Pol Pot of Pie Charts' - even Death by Powerpoint lets you join letters to form obscenities while they drone on, but the pie chart is a special kind of hell.
Lol!!!! The Cloud Botherer!! 😂😂
I’ll have to remember to use the ‘Do you like sex and like to travel’ insult.
Julia laughing at “using a croissant”
Jolly Green Jiz Face. I have actually used that one. 😉
Congressman No Jaw LUL
You needed a PhD in insults and shade to be on Veep😂😂😂
The best comedy ever ... and the best acting in a comedy ever (i mean it)
I bet the writer smokes hella weed in the writing room. Because some of the insults are too good to be true
"I move as slowly as a Mississippi detective investigating the murder of a young black man" I MEAN COME ON PURE GOLD!!!
Cloud Botherer!
OMFG😂😂😂
80 story sky raper😂😂😂
Poor Jonah
Is this show a prophecy?
05:27. Oh, the Irony of Ed calling Jonah a bony Frankenstein monster. Has he looked in a mirror? Pot...Kettle. 😁
Zach woods just getting in some shots before getting torn apart in Silicon Valley
He needs his glasses………
Cloud Botherer

What’s Buster doing on the show…gotta start watching.
Absolutely hilarious, what a show. America can make a great comedy like no-body else, different but very funny!
Sorry to be the one to tell you... It was made by Brits and is based on a BBC show called The Thick Of It
Roughly 65% cute. Stay safe
Who's cute?

Is this foreshadowing kamala?

I don't think they're capable of commanding the wit to create or understand the insults.
A great show - and very prescient. It's hard to watch now and not think about how Kamala Harris has brought it all to life.
It’s like the makers of veep were foreseeing Obamas third term…I mean Brandon’s.
It’s like you never watched the show.
Hey who’s Brandon?
@@jamesm.3967Biden.
wow. this show is exactly as insipid as i always imagined it was.
Not funny. At all. Who watches this?
We do. Go away
